Wow, I love the sounds you've created on this instrument.... the "flanger" or "fazer " sounds are out of this world. And you programmed that sequence perfectly. I use to be a big fan of KRAFTWERK and know their songs (including this one) to the core. You did absolutely great creating this, thank you. I wish I had this on a pack so I could play it myself on my instrument. (no floppy drive available for this instrument) the last one I saw for sale costed more than I had paid for the whole Electone, hahaha. Greetings from Adriaan Laurijsen from salt lake USA.
HX3 uses 4-op sounds for polyphonic sections and 8-op sounds for monophonic section. HX1 uses 8-op sounds for polyphonic sections and 16-op sounds for monophonic section. This makes the HX-1 sound 'richer' / 'fatter'. Also, the HX-1 is more flexible with effects (chorus) and rhythmic accompaniment.
Grew up listening to this and I've been inspired ever since to try and be as alternative. Totally awesome music that needs to be continuously listened to !!!!
Brilliant performance! You definitely understand how to program registrations, and on HX that is not an easy task. Well done! I own Yamaha Electone HS 8 myself...but only because I could not afford HX-1 when both were released in 1987. Salut! o_O
Well.. I'm playing organ for more than 20 years now (with intervals). And the feetwork for this song is not that difficult. But I'm glad you like it! Thanks!
ages ago i played the organ and i still know how difficult the coordination between hands and feet were. in this song the base-line is entirely produced by feet. you can't afford to miss a songle step. nice, absolutely nice.
I love this one too! The video bit of your legs is too cute :) I've been playing piano for 19 years myself...but that's just on piano! This organ reminds me of my piano lessons in the 80/90s......a small room full of organs and just 1 piano...
Amaizing! I'm just learning to get my mind to play two different melodies, one for my left hand and one for right.......but feet as well!!!! That's insain...keep it up!
WAAUUW!!! Hardstikke goed Ton. Keep them coming, groeten, Jan.
Superb! Amazing musicianship especially when compared to so many "here's me playing XXXX" videos on UA-cam. Damn fine bit of camerawork and editing too! All round excellence! Do more!
Wonderfull!!! You are a geat Artist! I enjoed with your adaptation & interpretation ¡Is genial! THANKS YOU, MU FRIEND I HAVE SPEND I EMOCION MOMENT !!!!!!!!!!!! Greetings from Spain. My name is Antonio
Absolutely amazing talent you have sir.I really envy people who can master instruments such as this piece of kit.As good if not better than the original albeit its instrumental.Well done a superb song played perfectly, congratulations my friend.
Seriously ! , I would guess you entertain with your skills ? , I really enjoy listening to you . this is professional quality in every way . do you have any CD's that you have recorded ? reply back and let me know . Thank You . Ray in Pa.
Excellent and enjoyable. I am a synthesizer enthusiast and owner, and know only a bit about a few Electone models. Did this use an early version of Yamaha's AWM ( waves stored in ROM)? Is it effectively a multi-timbral synth with 3 or more layers ( bass, manual 1 and manual 2)? Did it have any sort of FM synthesis? Very high tech looking keyboard for the time.
The HX has AWM,digital and analog filters! plus 8 and 16 operator FM. You can closely emulate the famous GX1 (Keith Emerson,Stevie Wonder)with the HX1. In short, the HX1 is basically two "souped up" SY77's in a organ cabinet with a MIDI pedalboard. They are extremely well built, reliable and in my opinion a "sleeper" instrument.
@@Tonneman Thank you very much for your availability, now I also have a wonderful HX1 in addition to the HX3, and I still have many registration floppies of my previous EL90, according to your experience, is there any solution in your opinion to be able to load these sounds on the HX?Thank you again....
Wow! Great job. I love Kraftwerk. They need 4 guys to do this and you did it all by yourself. I'd probably be much lazier and just program a sequencer for the Bass line. I love those pedals though. How is the Electone HX-3? Is it pretty amazing? Take care and if you have time check out some of my videos. I'm definitely influenced by Kraftwerk, Koto, Laserdance, and Italo Disco in general. :)

Very impressed. You are an organist supremeo! I love this tune too. Thanks

I love this music, and love the hx instruments also
Congratulation!
Great music, great playing, I just have to say it is FANTASTIC!
I always wonder what would have happened if u sat Mozart on this thing.. ..explain him a little bit how it works and give him some time.
I have seen one of these at a music store in Houston, Texas, but never played on it. Sounds really cool!
Thanks Patrick. It’s a cool beast, but not easy to handle. You have to be creative to get the most out of it, but that’s part of the fun!

I only do home recording, so no public entertainment. No CD's, but obviously, I have recorded several tracks over the years.
Thanks! I now own an HX-1. The sound of HS-8 is comparable with HX-3.
You should be able to get an HX-1 now for a very decent price :)
Wow totally awesome!
I want one of these keyboards now !
I thought he's cheated with the bassline but then saw you were playing it with your feet. Impressed.
these guys must have quad core processors for brains.. one core for each Limb...
Excellent musical mastery...5*****
WHAT!!! I've never seen that before... bassline with the feet!
