Fitting a Towbar to My Car!

In this video, we fit a Towbar to my Ford Fiesta.
We went to Car Radios of Dorchester/Auto Towbars to have a fully detachable TowTrust Towbar and dedicated electrics fitted to my car.

This is a brilliant video Oliver👍 , I don’t think this in depth tow bar fitting footage has ever been done before.
I have only had it done once ... but did wonder what I was paying so much for.

Great video Oliver well done 👍 a little tip to avoid damage to your car when putting on the hitch or removing it, I use a cheap foam kneeling mat with a slot cut into the bottom. It then fits at the back of the swan neck to protect your bodywork..

I was wondering how to wire the installation for the tow bar because my car doesn't have such from the factory. I was going to make myself with relays but thankfully from your video, I know that there is such a device. Thank you for the video.

We've not long had a towing kit fitted to a 21 plate Ford Puma so guess it's pretty similar to yours
kit ?
Just wish I was able to connect the power lead up as simply as the guy did - I always struggle.
Incidentally, what caravan did you pick ?

I need to fit a towbar for my Ford Fiesta XL Zetec 2005 1.4L so I can tow my sailing dingy.
Is this towbar set also useful for my car?

Quick question, assume the battery was disconnected (did I miss that?) to save any damage to the can bus components. If this car had a power tailgate would the tailgate need recalibration post battery reconnection. Assume the electric windows might.

Do you have s choice of how to angle the towbar ? I mean when attaching the connected to the main towbar frame
