  • Julia Lechner wins The Moth GrandSLAM storytelling championship with a story about her fertility journey and a humorous intimate encounter. Due to the sensitive subject matter around infertility, this story may not be for all audiences.
    The Moth GrandSLAM is when ten StorySLAM winners in a given city are invited to take to the GrandSLAM stage for the ultimate storytelling competition.
    The show was held at The Regent Theater DTLA in Los Angeles on May 22, 2023. The theme of the evening was "Should Have Known."
    Julia has performed live at storytelling and improv comedy shows at numerous venues, including the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, The Hotel Cafe, and The Crow.
