someone once said on another video I had watched: “social media has made us so confusing. 20 likes isn’t enough, but imagine if 20 people came up to you and complemented you.” ❤
I think this is so real and it takes a lot of guts to be so vulnerable on camera. from the bottom of my heart thank you for teaching me and soooo many others to care for our amazing little creatures.
omg same!! AuDHD with CPTSD (and more) childhood was simply delightful 🙄 i continue to have problems with socialising with humans but I've loved animals more than anything since forever! over years I BEGGED ny parents for an pet 24/7 until they gave in when I was 8 and got me a baby hamster. As they say, the rest was history :D my AuDHD makes my interests weird but rescuing/keeping hamsters have been a lifelong hyperfixation that my whole life is planned around and I can't imagine that will ever change, love those little guys
You are quite inspirational. Take it from someone who is around 15 years older than you. I started watching you because I was gifted a hamster; Now that my hammy has passed, I keep on watching you because of the positive and sweet vibes you give in your videos. Keep on being you, I think you are beautiful and inspirational❤
Omg you are the reason my hamster is still alive. I got my first hamster at 8 after begging my parents for 2 years. The reason I wanted to get one is because I had been watching slick slime Sam. They had hamsters and that’s why I wanted to get one. After one of the video finished I saw your video about how all of the things they were doing were wrong and they were treating the hamsters and other animals very poorly. And that’s where my hamster love truly began I start to watch a bunch of your videos and learned proper hamster care. When I got my hamster he lived in a critter trail and with a 6 inch wheel and one chew two. After a while I saved up for a bin cage and a bigger wheel as well as a hideout. This summer I had a little business and made enough money so I could buy sprays, moss, coco fiber, sand, cork granules, a large chamber hide, and a niteangel sand bath. My parents were very surprised that I wanted to spend my money on that but they were also proud that I had taken my time to learn about this animal and care for it properly. Sometimes I feel bad for my hamster because he is now 2 years and 3 months old and sometimes I cry because I feel bad that I had not given him a better life. I just got my second hamster for my birthday and now I am going to make sure he has an amazing life. If it weren’t for you both my hamsters would be living in small cages and most likely only living six months. Thank you so so so much❤
I don't think I've ever commented on your channel before but I want to tell you how much joy you've brought to my life. Because somehow, someway, your video showed up on my youtube front page, despite never having searched for anything about hamsters. I had never owned a hamster before, even as a child, although I'd wanted to. So a couple months and lots of research later, I rescued my first hamster, a robo. He came from a a well-intentioned young woman who no longer wanted to take care of him. Now that spoiled boy has a 55 gallon tank split into three sections, the two sides have 10" of fluff and the center third is a huge sand pit. He has tunnels leading to the sand pit from both sides, a bridge and a branch to cross it topside, and a 12" wheel on a third level, because he has a tank topper on one side so his wheel is on a platform almost to the top of the tank. Just today I've been handmaking a new tunnel toy because I have plans to build a second tank topper and add a level with a tray of grass. SPOILED. And so, so cute. He gets gourmet food from Etsy and never runs wants for mealworms. His favorite. This boy, named Capricorn, doesn't even let me touch him, and yet everything he does makes me sooo happy! When I clean out and change up one side of his fluff (I only change out one side at a time) I literally wait until he wakes up and film him exploring his new habitat. I LOVE HIM. And I love making him happy. So thank you for that, because it's so fulfilling to give him the best life possible! And it's because your video found its way to me when I didn't even know I needed a hamster.
🥹 That really brings a smile to my face, thank you for being here and supporting me ❤I'm glad you could find a new love in something you may not have considered before.
Victoria you are so amazing, you've helped me SO MUCH with my hamsters and pets. You keep doing what you love, we'll always support you ❤ those haters are really just jealous. Love ya queen 💞
You're wonderful Victoria! Thank you for inspiring so many to actually look after animals properly. I'm so sorry it has taken such a toll on you, but because of you, so so many animals have had better, happier lives, so you should be so proud
Yes! She has really taught me a lot. I had no idea how little I knew about proper hamster care. She’s truly been such a blessing to me. I just love her. She’s so sweet kind and caring and it breaks my heart to think that anyone would ever hurt her.
You have lifted the bar for the whole hamster care community!!!! You are smart, kind, creative and beautiful. Life is hard and I understand " the freeze" oh to well. Hold your head high and do you!!! 🤎
Thank you Victoria. For everything. I've adopted my first hamster and she's still settling in, but I'm so happy and I know so much thanks to you. Film what makes you happy, your voice matters to all 650,000 of your followers. You're such an inspiration, and I love curling up with my cat and watching your content. Thank you ❤️
wow, was this relatable for me. I was also a shy kid obsessed with animals, but when I got older I didnt go the route of content creation. I worked at a pet store where I was nicknamed "the guinea pig whisperer" and "a walking animal encyclopedia". people listened to what I had to say and appreciated my input, but sometimes it felt like I wasn't valued for anything but my animal knowledge. people didn't trust me as much with the non-animal jobs that come with retail, and I struggled to form friendships with my coworkers. I've since left that job because I moved to study animal science. I hope to work in animal rescue, because I really do feel like thats my calling. but when it comes to my relationships with people, I have a lot of work to do and a lot to figure out. I think some of us go on self improvement/self discovery journeys that last a lifetime. lately I've been trying to enjoy the process instead of just wishing I was perfect already. here's to a good year, much love!
New subbie here. I found your channel because my kindergarten class decided that they wanted to earn a class pet, and we decided on a hamster a few months ago. I knew nothing about taking care of them or having a class pet at all. If I could do it again, I would have discovered your channel before agreeing to this because I have learned quite a bit about hamsters and realize that they aren’t great class pets since they are nocturnal creatures ( for the most part). Instead, I would have gotten the hamster for just myself because I have realized that they are sweet little creatures who can bond with you, and there are many facets to taking care of them properly (which I have grown to look forward to doing surpringly). Anyway, I appreciate what you are doing, and wish you much happiness and continued success in the new year! Thank you!
thanks for doing research! i hate when people get hamsters (or any small creatures that don’t get proper care a lot) as class pets. because as you said, they’re nocturnal and all the noise during the day would surely stress them out. and they require a lot of money and space that people don’t expect!
Girl you are amazing. Ive been that weird animal obsessed person since I was born. I don’t like makeup, I’m awkward at parties, I don’t have many friends, and my best friends are the kittens I bottle feed, the chickens I care for, and the mice in my room. I don’t even own hamsters anymore but I am probably going to be subscribed to you til I die lol. I love how real and heartwarming your content is. You don’t try to fake anything and you’re honest about the mistakes you’ve made. Don’t listen to the haters, you are an amazing person and your animals are so lucky to be in your care. I don’t know if you will ever see this but thank you for all you do ❤️🙏
You're my favorite UA-camr because of your authenticity. Thank you for sharing. I can relate soooo much and have felt those same shifts in different contexts within my life. I was also pre-vet track, turned animal behavior specialist, and now work in a shelter. But I question my purpose constantly as this job can be draining and emotionally difficult. I find your videos to be a core part of what taught me how to do better for my hamster that I spontaneously got at 21, after a break up, and right before the pandemic. It quickly taught me how much I needed to learn still, even as a college senior about to graduate, and how much the most educated person may accidentally get a pet spontaneously even if that isn't the most responsible thing. I am learning day by day to find peace in myself. By doing my best based on what I know now is better than yesterday. And I build on that. CONSTANTLY. My learning never stops. I'm not sure what your purpose is, neither am I sure of my own. But I'm glad I found your channel through my life. Thanks for being so authentic and providing quality support for animal care and hamster husbandry. I wouldn't be where I'm at today without your videos, for my own hamsters and for those I help in the shelter get rehomed and ensure they go home into big lovely cages as they deserve! Again, thank you. You rock! 🎉 hope you have a fantastic new years❤️❤️❤️
You are the reason why my hamsters are living the life they have now, so thank you from the bottom of my heart. Yuki, Simba and Jupiter are so grateful for sparking that love and care in their mommy ♥
The ripple effect from your hamster care content turned into a wave of THOUSANDS of animals having a better life. It is remarkable what you have built with your channel. I truly believe that you have made a lasting impact and changed hamster care forever. You could make videos on anything you like and I will be here for it ❤
I think he only commented a few times of being on UA-cam for YEARS, but truly you are who I credit for my animals care. You have helped me through learning new things, taking criticism, and you even showing your kindness through videos! When I got my first hamster I started frantically researching and I found you! You helped me learn everything about my hamster! Social media is a hard place and I personally have been the “weird kid” the “popular kid” the “quiet kid” And just know you as a person is valued and truly appreciated! We love you Victoria!!
Sorry there are those people who will be negative. 😢 Your videos bring joy to my life and help me feel closer to a wonderful hamster community. ❤But I don’t come here with expectations. No pressure. Always do what’s best for yourself!
This is so sweet and relatable. You are and will always be my favorite UA-camr. Not only do you produce lovely entertaining content but you genuinely care for the animals and your content. You are so kind and caring. You’re amazing Tori ❤
I’ve been here since the Wasabi/Peach days ❤ I remember that video on how to grow long nails and wanted to be just like you. UA-cam is so unsteady I’m sorry for what you’ve been through
i got two female syrians about a year ago. unfortunately one had developed cancerous tumors in her stomach and passed a couple months after getting her. ever since then, a lot has happened. i found your channel sometime after getting them and i cannot explain to you how thankful i am for all of the information i learned through your videos. i went from crittertrails to prevue small animal homes and now finally, i’m getting a pawhut in january 🥳 from awful in store mixes, 6-inch wheels and unsafe bedding to etsy mixes, 10 to 11-inch wheels and paper bedding, i’ve come a very long way. that’s all thanks to you and the rest of the ham community. i hope you know what a difference you’ve made with my pet care and how eternally grateful i am for your content and for you. i don’t know you, but you seem like an exceptionally kind and wonderful hooman
Dear Victoria, I can relate to your words 100%. I was always very shy too and have always loved animals more than people. Now as an adult, many things are easier to understand but the world and the people are not always…. I still like animals often more than people 😅. You are so important to the animal community. There are so many good things to learn from you. Even if it is often not easy for you, please don't stop. We need you! And the ignorant need you even more (they just may not all know it yet 😉). I have been following you for years, I come from Germany and love watching you and your animals. It is such a safe space 🤍 Thank you for everything, dear Victoria! Hugs
Thank you so much for this video! You put into words a lot of things that I have felt or still feel too! And thank you for being so open and sharing this with the world 🫶🏻
I’ve always loved animals, any kind, any form, especially horses, reptiles and inverts. I am now an avid equestrian, and a pet hobbyist. I remember when I was younger I would ask my friends if they liked animals. Most said yeah, but they’re just alright. I never understood that. How could someone not be in love with these beautiful creatures? But then one day it clicked-some people are just born with it. Some people have a need for animals, they just bring them joy. That is how I realized animals were my favorite thing to obsess over. Now after a few years of aggressive research and thinking through the process, I have a Syrian hamster, crested gecko, two leopard geckos, a bearded dragon, a desert blonde tarantula, a wolf spider and a cat. Sure, I get called weird. But it’s 100% worth it knowing I’ve found my happy place, alongside riding horses. Thanks to Victoria and a number of other pet-tubers, I have got the care to give to these animals to make sure they live the fullest life possible.
Oh victoria! In summer 2021 i wanted a pet so badly! I found your channel and spent the whole summer learning about hamsters. Later that year, I got one! I just want to tell you that you have saved so many hamsters! Love from norway💗
Yep, I know that feeling being the one attached to my pet guinea pig as a kid when others didn't understand it. My dwarf hamster lives his best life because of folks like you destroying the old, dangerous notions of hamster care that have been perpetuated for far too long. Keep doing what you're doing, we're here for it.
i am a 32 year old mom tbh hamster care changed so much since i had mine when i was 10. You taught me almost everything and helped our hamster care few years ago. My daughter 3 and half loves watching your hamster videos with me and tbh we probably will always own a hamster. We have 3 dogs and a hamster atm. We will continue to watch you and support you.
Wow your so amazing and i really appreciate your videos and you help me take care of my hamster. Don't listen to those mean people that try to get under your skin. When i was making a yt channel and i started making videos about roblox, I got mean comments and i cryed for 2 days. I tried over and over again and eventually i had to take my yt channel down. I was really upset about it. Anyways i love your videos and like i said, do what makes you feel happy and it does not matter on what other people say! I think you are one of the best pet youtuber's out there and i love how you make me smile and make me laugh! It makes my day and you make my day feel simply better! Thank you Victoria! :)
Victoria, this video brought literal tears to my eyes. I’m in school to be a veterinary technician, and animals have been my life for as long as I can remember. I work at a hospital with some of the smartest doctors I’ve ever met (and to be honest probably the smartest ones around since they’re specialists), and they even say “I don’t know” all the time. Life doesn’t always make sense and everyone is learning all of the time. I just recently got my very first bunny (a bit unexpectedly but that’s a long story), and your content has been so helpful for my bunny and my hamsters to ensure I give them the best I can. We all make mistakes, and it’s important to make sure that we are always striving for improvement. Keep being you. In a world where you can be anything, I always think it’s best to be kind 💕
Your channel is the reason my hammy has proper care, I’m 13 and I’m autistic and ever since I’ve know animals existed they have been my special interest. Your channel has been one of my favorite pet channels for years and I’ve learned so from your videos! You have made so many hamster lives better, your doing great, keep going❤
Don’t let the jerks get you down. I swear there are some people who get out of bed trying yo think of who they can hate on that day. They are toxic people who delight in attacking others. You are a good person who shares her love and care for animals. Remember the good far more than the bad.❤❤❤
If there's one thing I've learned from watching youtubers as good as yourself, it's that UA-cam is an EVEN and EQUAL platform that gives equal opportunities with the minimal of equitment and maximum effort. You have an established name and a good and honest reputation. And from that a solid following with recommendations. Along with constant regular referals for up to date info. Your love of photography. .. Include it. Utilise your skills of filming and photography in different ways. You just need to produce and sell work that is individually You. Open your content box and think outside of your box. You are clever, resourceful, imaginative... You will always be a hamster guru who never places herself above others but brings others to walk alongside you. That has always been your strength. Always believe ❤
hi victoria, i am just like you, animals and my pets are my whole life and i do not know what i would do without them. thank you soooo much, you have helped me feel like i am not on my own, and that i can do anything! 😊❤
This is sooo relatable. I just want to say that I love your animal care videos, day to day husbandry, and everything else. You’ve really changed the lives/world of hamster care for the better❤
Victoria doesn't deserve hate people who leave hate comments are just insecure about themselves Victoria is a wonderful person who cares about animals a lot of are hamsters would still be in tiny cages if it wasn't for you your channel helps so much ❤
I am so grateful for you. My little Clover who has since passed lived a much happier and healthier life because of you! Sending you hugs as you ponder these big questions. You are truly a beautiful person. ❤
Genuinely I think this is unironically one of my favorite videos on your channel. I always feel like it takes so much bravery to be a content creator who gives information to other people if that makes sense. Many people won't be happy with what you say no matter what or as you've said before, you absolutely don't know everything! You're one of my favorite channels and your vlog-style videos are probably my favorite video types. Not just because we get to see your pets, but also because we get to see you! There are so many moments in your videos that I find myself constantly rewatching because they make me laugh and bring so much joy. Keep being you, Victoria! 🧡
Hey Victoria I just wanted to say how much your videos have helped me! 99% of what I watch is your content because I find it so comforting and exciting to learn more about the care of my little Syrian hamster! I love your sense of humour and the kindness you bring too my screen, Thank you 🩷
It's crazy how much I relate to this video, I was the exact same as a kid, the quiet kid who was drawn to animals rather than people, always thinking about ways I can help animals 🥹 I have recently started content creation myself to spread awareness of proper care for rabbits I and completely understand the effect of negative comments when they are so far from the truth. However you have such a beautiful fan base who doesn't just watch you just for your animals but for YOU! I grew up watching your channel because I always felt your kindness and true love for proper animal care through the screen. Thank you Victoria for sharing this wonderful video and being so honest! You have done so much for the hamster community and inspired so many people to properly care for their animals! Thank you for everything, you are amazing! 🐹🐰💕
Thank you for all your wonderful videos. I have watched them all since getting a rescue hamster in the Summer. You are doing a great job so please ignore all those nasty comments.
Your content is amazing and it has changed the lives of hamsters all around the world. My kids get to grow up knowing proper and ethical care for hamsters at a young age. You are amazing and you have saved hamster lives.
I can’t believe some people can be so mean! I have been watching her videos for over six months and finally got a hamster and was able to give her proper care, because of Victoria.
This video is amazing! You put so much effort in your vids and are my role model you explained your childhood and every thing resemble me like everything you named, and just wanted to tell you how grateful I am to have your videos to help me! Your hamster vids help me care, I started off ok and now my ham has a 1000 square inch cage. Thank you ❤
I don't think I've ever commented, maybe i have but I've been subscribed to you since 2020, i stumbled upon one of you're videos because I wanted a pet, but living in our apartment at the time they only allowed caged pets. I had really wanted a cat and was disappointed when i couldn't have one. Then one day i was at my friends house and she had a dwarf hamster, sadly she didn't know the proper care. But i knew then i wanted one! I researched their care and thanks to you're videos I soon realized they were a lot of work i researched and researched and when i was done i asked my parents for a hamster for my 11th birthday. I got one! And named him Gizmo, i also had a female named winter (owned separate times) I'm now 15 and own my current Hamster his name is Yurio and he is 2 years 1 month old hes had some issues with abcesses but is on medication from our exotic vet and doing well! I just want to say thank you and thanks for helping me to make my hamsters have a great life! (Yes i now have a cat too but i love them both equally!)
I totally understand how you feel. I have really really bad social anxiety, and being around people makes me extremely self conscious. When I make videos, I still get nervous that someone is going to be mean to me or criticize me even though I don’t show my face. I just make videos anyway because it makes me happy to help others learn about small animals, even if it’s only a few people. I’ve always loved animals, and I’m even going to school to hopefully become a vet. Some people are just cruel, so don’t waste time trying to please them- just do what makes you happy! You make so many others happy and help them learn about hamsters and other animals! There is no way to truly be perfect, but everyone still loves you and your content anyway! Keep spreading kindness and keep doing what you love!💕
I found your content quite randomly at the start of the pandemic when I longed to have my first pet since I moved out of my parents' house 3 years prior. Most flats here don't allow dogs or cats, so we had to find a smaller pet that wouldn't suffer from being inside all the time. I thought about a hamster, since I had quite a few as a kid, and your content prepared me to welcome our little bundle of joy, whom we adopted in May 2020. You made it so enjoyable to care for my hamster, to constantly seek out the best options for him and to improve his life even in the smallest way. As a kid, all the things you advocated were unknown to me or my parents, we blindly followed what greedy pet stores told us, and I regret to say that we provided next to nothing to these cute hamsters I had. But I wanted life for my new hamster to be different, and as good as possible. I like to believe that I managed, since he was rarely ever sick and was much more active than any other hamster I had, but he had the space and the material to spend his energy. My heart was torn apart when he died, and even almost 3 years later I struggle to speak about him without choking up. But that's how I know that my time with him was precious, and you indirectly made that happen, and I'll never thank you enough for it. Unfortunately owning hamsters is now forbidden in this country, so as long as I live here, having a hamster isn't possible, but I still hope that I'll be able to care for another in the future, even though I'll always miss my little Aragorn.
You are a pet saver you have probably saved hundreds of hamsters, hundreds of rabbits, and more you are loved by each and every one of your subscribers you are honestly so kind and also you are absolutely stunning! I hope you know that you don't have to post consistently and you can post whenever you want! You are one of the prettiest, kindest, funniest therapeuticst? 😅 And best person ever #weloveyouvictoria
Victoria, thanks to you I have learned so much about hamster care and how to properly care for these beautiful small animals. The first hamster I got was a Syrian and she lived in a 20 gallon tank for all of 6 days before she died. I'm not sure what exactly was the cause of her death, but it made me realize that I needed to do more research to make sure that I didn't repeat the same mistakes again. That's how I came across your channel, and it has helped me so so much to give my new hamster a great home. She is a dwarf and lives in a 75 gallon tank with 10 inches of bedding and so much enrichment and I wouldn't have been able to provide that level of care. I love you and your videos so much! 🤍
A week before Christmas, my hamster, Buddy, sadly passed away. He was two years old, but didn't show signs of aging, other than the graying of his orange fur. I was shocked by how fast he became sick, as just days before he was running on his wheel and coming out of his wooden hut to greet me and get a snack while I refilled his food and water bowls. But after Buddy passed away I knew that because of you he had a wonderful life and lived in a large enclosure with plenty of enrichment and a huge wheel. I really appreciate everything your channel has done for me and countless other hamster owners to help improve the lives of our hamsters. Thank you so much, Victoria!
That was beautifully said. You have definitely inspired me, and I have learnt a lot from your videos, ideas, and knowledge. I'm 46, and I have been working in pet rescue for around 10 years. Thank you for keeping on going with your channel and never letting bad, horrible comments stop you. ❤
I have watched and loved your videos for many years, your gift to me and so many others has been sharing your love for animals (especially the hammys!) with all of us and being so honest and inspiring whilst doing so. You are creative, kind and generous, I always think that you are one of the special people put here on earth to help animals and thier cause, and that you are in fact exactly where you need to be- surrounded by pets (and plants) that you can nurture and grow. I identify with your struggles with perfectionism, but everything you do, loving your pets everyday and spreading joy to the people around you, they see that perfection exists, and to thier hearts, it is you :) You are a voice for animal care, and a shining example of love on earth. Also, yes, I know I'm cheesy, and I don't care! :D
Thanks for being who you are you’re an amazing inspiration to me. This channel always been my safe place to learn.❤️❤️❤️keep doing what your doing and never get discouraged from people who don’t even know the true you 😊😊😊😊
I love you so much! I can relate with just about everything you’ve said and your channel has saved the lives of millions of hamsters and other pets, as well as allowing humans to learn and grow. I am devastated at all the criticism the world throws at people and it’s not okay, but unfortunately it seems to be inevitable. But despite the hate, everyone is loved much more! Thank you for this channel! It definitely saved my current and future hamsters lives! I cannot say thank you enough!
Omg. That was really inspirational, honestly. I am so happy that you decided to do what you love, and not let the haters stop you. Sometimes things can get really hard, especially with this career path, but don’t give up! You inspire so many people every day, and I don’t doubt that you’ve saved hamsters’ lives through UA-cam. Your videos always manage to bring a smile to my face, and I encourage you to not worry about what others think of you. Keep doing what you love! Thank you for all that you’ve done. You inspire, help and encourage me. ❤
Victoria, if it weren’t for you, my syrian hamster would have been living in a critter trail with a mesh wheel, 1 inch of bedding, and nothing but pellets. Now he has 750+ inches of floor space, 7 inches of bedding, and a diverse healthy diet. Take all the time you need, even if it means stopping as a whole, you’ve been such an amazing source for hamster/animal care, you deserve it.
As a kid who relates to this 100%, I’ve tried rabbits, rats, dogs, and quite a few more but sadly, my father is allergic. Animals have always been my passion. No matter if they’re ‘pet-material’ or not I would ask: “Awww mom I want one!”. Photography is another thing I truly relate to, I beg to be a photographer and I currently am working on growing my UA-cam channel (again because my last one got deleted. 😢 goodbye 2k subs 😅). Now I am proud to say my mom and I are hamster enthusiasts! We have 1 dwarf and 1 Syrian (separate cages dw) and we love them *so* much. Victoria. Thank you so much for all that you do for the world. ❤
I’ve been watching your videos for years now and I just wanna say that you have truly inspired and helped me to learn so much more about being a pet owner. You and your journey reminds me a lot of myself and my love for animals. Thank you so much for your videos!💗
You are an inspiration to me Victoria, I’ve watched your videos for a few years now and I will continue to watch you, I know it will seem hard at times but just think how many people have a smile put on their face when you upload, including myself, keep being the kind sweet Victoria we all know and love! ❤❤❤
Victoria I loved this video!!! You’re so neat and clean and organized. It is so calming and comforting to watch how you keep up with everything and take care of your pets. Thank you for sharing this. I really enjoyed it! ❤❤❤
Remember what a beautiful and wonderful person you are and don't listen to the mean people in the world. I have learned so much from you and you are helping so many people in the world. Keep doing what you're doing.
Thank you for being a inspiration to all. You are fulfilling your purpose. Try relaxing into being instead of always doing. You will find your way on your journey.
Victoria you are the best and u have saved me from countless situations. Now hearing your story i relate to u even more. I have also wanted to be a vet from the beginning and we both love animals dearly. I love your videos and get filled with joy when you post, even if it is a short just hello i get so happy from watching it! If you dont feel the joy then maybe you should focus on yourself for a while or try other things! like gaming or other platforms! I and everyone else will still stand here by ur side no matter what choice u make! ♥
Thank you for everything you have done for this community. There are a few really good informational channels out there on hamsters, but your heart does always shine through and the care/compassion you show is what drew me to learning more about hamster care. I’m now known by my friends/colleagues as the local hamster girl - so not only have you helped me give my hamsters better lives right from the offset (all rescues which I adopted after a big initial binge of hamster care research), but you kickstarted my journey of learning more about proper care and how to sensitively and compassionately convey that to others irl so that they might actually take it on board with their hamsters. Thank you ❤
I got a hamster after watching your videos Victoria Rachel and you responded to several of my questions which always made my day! My hamster Betty had a long and happy life because you are the hamster expert i turned to! I could see your love for your pets and it matched my desire to be a good pet parent. ☀️ Lots of people work at the Veterinary Clinics not just Vets, Even more in pet care education, animal rescue and with animal ambassadors. You have talent and passion for animals so i,m super excited to find out where you develop your talents and interests in the next chapter. So far with 657k subscribers and a home to show for your UA-cam success, you should know most us love your smile, your eye for detail, your interest in accuracy, awareness of the issues and love of animals. Happy New Year 🎉
You were the first person on UA-cam that I found when I decided to learn from in order to get a hamster. Time has gone by and things have changed but so have you. There will still be new hamster owners who are seeking information so there will always be a place for your knowledge. Perfection is finite but life is not like that. We continue to learn and grow and what you're going through now is personal growth. It doesn't matter what you decide. You have done wonders for the pet community. Just know that there are more people who will be forever grateful to you than the few transient haters.
This made me emotional to watch. You really put your heart into your words and I felt every one of them. Thank you for being a light. It’s not always easy in this heavy world, you’re a truly beautiful soul Victoria and I’m sending you so much love ❤
Thank you so much for all that you’ve done to help animals! You taught me practically everything I know about hamsters and you’ve helped so many other people with their pets. Your videos are so enjoyable to watch and really helpful! You are so kind and beautiful and take such good care of your pets. Keep making videos! We need your content!
You are so brave and clearly wise beyond your years! 💕 Your vulnerability and perspective inspire me and it is clear that you have found and continue to fulfill your purpose. I hope you are super proud of who you are and all that you have accomplished, you have made such a positive impact on so many people, hamsters, bunnies, and the community space you inhabit. Thank you so much for all of the content, I have loved your channel ever since I got my first hamster a few years ago and continue to follow you. Whatever you find renewed purpose in is sure to be spectacular. Best wishes!
You made me cry. You care about animals and you’re sharing that. People who have only negative takeaways from your videos are just reflecting their own inner struggles and insecurities. I’m sorry you had to endure such painful criticism and scrutiny.
Omg I almost cried while watching this video😢 I love you and your videos Victoria you have showed me proper hamster as my previous hamster was treated poorly I love your content as an animal person too thanks to you I know more about hamster care and after watching dozens of your videos I want to get a hamster again. Ps your pets are adorable ❤
Always keep your head up, you deserve so much more respect. Thanks to you I am the proud caretaker of 3 dwarf hammy's which are living their best lives. I'm shure a lot of people take amazing care of their pets because of your videos!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings with us. I am so sorry that you have been through all of that criticism and bullying. The internet has taught me that a lot of people are awful and broken, and the internet gives them a vehicle to reach others and spew ugliness and hatred on them. :( It's really, really sad how quickly people will attack another person that they don't even know, without remorse, and sometimes just because it feels good to them to go after random people. I wanted to let you know that you made a positive difference in my life. I was in a really dark place in my life, and i was in search of something to bring light back into it, and came across one of your videos because someone suggested your channel if I was interested in getting a hamster. I had had them a lot when I was a kid, and I wanted to try again now as an adult. Now, roughly three months later, I have two very happy hamsters in their own two separate palaces, and I have done it all the right way (and the right way is always, always what you do to the best of your ability with the best intentions-- no one can know everything.) It has become a deep love for me to take care of them (read: spoil them rotten) and give them best life imaginable, and this is all because of what I learned from you. They make me so happy, and i think they are happy too. Thank you for your contribution to our happy lives together.
I think you are a good person, that being said I cant relate to someone who got themself a condo at twenty one years old and their struggles. Keep the good work!
someone once said on another video I had watched:
“social media has made us so confusing. 20 likes isn’t enough, but imagine if 20 people came up to you and complemented you.” ❤
Your channel has saved many hamster lives and improved the quality of life for numerous hamsters around the world! Thank you, thank you ❤
I'm always happy to hear that 🫶
I think this is so real and it takes a lot of guts to be so vulnerable on camera. from the bottom of my heart thank you for teaching me and soooo many others to care for our amazing little creatures.
Thank you for being here ❤
This was relatable as an autistic kid who was obsessed with animals in primary school and got shunned for being “that weird kid”.
Same❤️🩹
If you can type and express yourself, you're fine. Stop seeking attention.

@@pompommaniaOh you are so so ignorant
Thank you so so so much❤
the baby carrot story is so precious 🥺🥺🥺
Yep!! Absolutely beautiful. ❤
I checked those carrots every recess haha they never were touched but the thought was there.
@@VictoriaRaechel that is so thoughtful and sweet 🥺
And it's because your video found its way to me when I didn't even know I needed a hamster.
what a happy boy, and what a lovely story! so glad you two found each other
🥹 That really brings a smile to my face, thank you for being here and supporting me ❤I'm glad you could find a new love in something you may not have considered before.
Victoria you are so amazing, you've helped me SO MUCH with my hamsters and pets. You keep doing what you love, we'll always support you ❤ those haters are really just jealous.
Love ya queen 💞
🥹 You are too kind, thank you

Thank you ❤
Thank you Victoria.
I don’t know if you will ever see this but thank you for all you do ❤️🙏
This is really sweet, thank you for being here 🥹
@ ofc! Happy new year!! ❤️🥳
You rock! 🎉 hope you have a fantastic new years❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so very much ❤ I too am learning day by day to just be the best version of myself that I can be.
You could make videos on anything you like and I will be here for it ❤
I really hope so ❤ Thank you
I think he only commented a few times of being on UA-cam for YEARS, but truly you are who I credit for my animals care.
You have helped me through learning new things, taking criticism, and you even showing your kindness through videos!
When I got my first hamster I started frantically researching and I found you! You helped me learn everything about my hamster!
Social media is a hard place and I personally have been the “weird kid” the “popular kid” the “quiet kid”
And just know you as a person is valued and truly appreciated! We love you Victoria!!
Victoria one question why did you have to make me cry OMG I love this video and your story happy new year and here’s to a good 2025
Sorry there are those people who will be negative. 😢
Your videos bring joy to my life and help me feel closer to a wonderful hamster community. ❤But I don’t come here with expectations. No pressure. Always do what’s best for yourself!
Thank you ❤
This is so sweet and relatable.
You are and will always be my favorite UA-camr.
Not only do you produce lovely entertaining content but you genuinely care for the animals and your content. You are so kind and caring. You’re amazing Tori ❤
Your videos are what got me into animals and my pets are basically my life now so thank you
🥹❤
I have a hamster and you have helped me look after him so better then before so thank you so much Victoria
Victoria is such a good youtuber. Her pets are definitely happy and very cute😍😍😍🥹💓❤️
I’ve been here since the Wasabi/Peach days ❤ I remember that video on how to grow long nails and wanted to be just like you. UA-cam is so unsteady I’m sorry for what you’ve been through
Thank you for being here ❤
i got two female syrians about a year ago. unfortunately one had developed cancerous tumors in her stomach and passed a couple months after getting her. ever since then, a lot has happened. i found your channel sometime after getting them and i cannot explain to you how thankful i am for all of the information i learned through your videos. i went from crittertrails to prevue small animal homes and now finally, i’m getting a pawhut in january 🥳 from awful in store mixes, 6-inch wheels and unsafe bedding to etsy mixes, 10 to 11-inch wheels and paper bedding, i’ve come a very long way. that’s all thanks to you and the rest of the ham community. i hope you know what a difference you’ve made with my pet care and how eternally grateful i am for your content and for you. i don’t know you, but you seem like an exceptionally kind and wonderful hooman
Hugs
Your imperfections are perfect. Being so effortlessly perfect doesn’t result in growth and that’s a hell of a boring journey ❤ ❤❤
❤
Thank you so much for this video! You put into words a lot of things that I have felt or still feel too! And thank you for being so open and sharing this with the world 🫶🏻
I love ur channel❤
I'm glad I'm not alone in the way I feel ❤ It's comforting to know others understand.
This is an amazing video Victoria wonderful work!!!!❤❤❤
Because of you I started rescuing hamsters and giving them the correct care. I have also been able to help others with their hamster care. Thank you.
You’re not alone and I feel the same way.💗🙏🏻
Because of you, my son and I gave our sweet hamster the best life ever. 😊
Thank you for sharing a little about yourself. ❤
hi victoria, i am just like you, animals and my pets are my whole life and i do not know what i would do without them. thank you soooo much, you have helped me feel like i am not on my own, and that i can do anything! 😊❤
Im 11 right now and I wanna be a vet so bad too I hope ill reach it!
Me too! But im 13❤
This is sooo relatable. I just want to say that I love your animal care videos, day to day husbandry, and everything else. You’ve really changed the lives/world of hamster care for the better❤
Victoria doesn't deserve hate people who leave hate comments are just insecure about themselves Victoria is a wonderful person who cares about animals a lot of are hamsters would still be in tiny cages if it wasn't for you your channel helps so much ❤
Your the reason why my hamster has a great life luv ya girl
Thank you 🥺
Hey Victoria I just wanted to say how much your videos have helped me! 99% of what I watch is your content because I find it so comforting and exciting to learn more about the care of my little Syrian hamster! I love your sense of humour and the kindness you bring too my screen,
Thank you 🩷
It's crazy how much I relate to this video, I was the exact same as a kid, the quiet kid who was drawn to animals rather than people, always thinking about ways I can help animals 🥹 I have recently started content creation myself to spread awareness of proper care for rabbits I and completely understand the effect of negative comments when they are so far from the truth. 🐹🐰💕
Thank you ❤
Thank you for all your wonderful videos.
You are the best ❤️
I'm glad to hear I was able to help you and you've been able to give them the care they deserve!
I feel this video so much, Victoria. Thank you for making such a beautifully vulnerable piece and sharing it.
🍀You are a wonderful person. Keep doing what you're doing. 🍀🙋♀️🙏🐱🐶🐹🐰❤️🍀🧡🍀
This really brings a smile to my face 🥹 You gave him the best life ❤
You are a pet saver you have probably saved hundreds of hamsters, hundreds of rabbits, and more you are loved by each and every one of your subscribers you are honestly so kind and also you are absolutely stunning! I hope you know that you don't have to post consistently and you can post whenever you want! You are one of the prettiest, kindest, funniest therapeuticst? 😅 And best person ever
#weloveyouvictoria
Rabbits are my passion I love the Lil furballs
yayy!!!! new video on a chill Sunday!!
I'm so sorry for your loss :(
Your channel means a lot to me and many more people. If my hamster could speak it would thank you for making me understand them more
That was beautifully said.
I identify with your struggles with perfectionism, but everything you do, loving your pets everyday and spreading joy to the people around you, they see that perfection exists, and to thier hearts, it is you :)
You are a voice for animal care, and a shining example of love on earth.
Also, yes, I know I'm cheesy, and I don't care! :D
This means a lot to me, thank you❤
Thanks for being who you are you’re an amazing inspiration to me.
Your the reason my Rosie lives a good life , I'm so glad I found you ❤❤❤
Your videos have directly helped my wife and I give our hamsters significantly better care and love. Thank you.
I love seeing your videos it makes my day
I’ve been watching your videos for years now and I just wanna say that you have truly inspired and helped me to learn so much more about being a pet owner. You and your journey reminds me a lot of myself and my love for animals. Thank you so much for your videos!💗

I have watched your videos since before your face reveal, you have helped me so much with my animal care.
Wow well said, I second this! :D
Thank you 🥹
You made me cry. You care about animals and you’re sharing that. People who have only negative takeaways from your videos are just reflecting their own inner struggles and insecurities. I’m sorry you had to endure such painful criticism and scrutiny.
Thank you ❤
Omg I almost cried while watching this video😢 I love you and your videos Victoria you have showed me proper hamster as my previous hamster was treated poorly I love your content as an animal person too thanks to you I know more about hamster care and after watching dozens of your videos I want to get a hamster again.
You don’t have to relate to me and my struggles 😊 we all have unique lives.
