Congratulations on your new home! May I find out is it worth opting for the ocs renovation package with HDB? You like the material & workmanship? There is so little info about the ocs options and the flat booking procedure online. I heard you will only get the info package online 2 weeks before booking the unit with the queue nos seq you got. There is no ocs showroom beforehand, other than the HDB show flat renovation ideas only. I wonder how one make all these costly decisions within 2 weeks window. Thank you 🙏🏼😊
Hi... As I applied my bto before the pandemic so I managed to go down HDB HQ to see n feel the quality of those materials before I signed for it. So far, the walls n toilet fitting are still acceptable for my like. As for the vinyl flooring, I've done a vinyl guard coating to it by Vinyl Guard to make it feel smoother (easier to clean) n ve a shine look. There are pros and cons for ocs, and depending on your budget and style of your renovation, too. Do research online before you decide. Enjoy the journey. All the best to you!
