Probably the best modded weapon I've seen thus far, that ds3 katana parry put a massive smile on my face.
I feel like the aquamarine dagger in ds3 definitely changed the way people mod weapon arts, concept of chaining weapon art combos out of other inputs have really been a blessing to the modding community it seems and I hope we get a DLC weapon that could have a similar mechanic.
elden ring dlc weapons will be insane, even better than the weapons we got in Ringed City and ashes of ariendel, almost all of them had some sort of totally unique mechanic

Was thinking of doing a dual katanas build, might as well try this one.
Unfortunately, this weapon does not go into a power stance with two katanas.

Man I love all the sekiro-like weapons. They feel so much like legit movesets vs some others on here. (Not to say they're bad) Keep up the good work!
I think the main difference is balance. Clever's weapons are all crazy good, but they legitimately feel like something FromSoft *could* release. Perfectly balanced
@@rictuserectus6686No, this isn't something from would make, it's good sure but it's too flashy, which isn't really a bad thing it just doesn't quite fit with the base game, it feels like a modded weapon, which is by no means bad, it's just different.

the animation polishing of your mods are truly something else! normally i see abrupt ends between animations in these kinds of mod but ive not seen any in yours!
I am genuinely going to cry. This man put Ashina Cross, the Frayed Blade and the Ds3 Katana Parry all in one weapon....

Absolutely incredible. Also, thanks so much for the instructions for the installation. I don't have this working with the Sekiro Dodge + Deflect mod yet, but the 100% block from the Sekiro mod *is* working for whatever reason. I just followed your guide about using DSMap studio, exported the Sekiro CSV files and merged them -- or thought I did, and only that one worked.
Anyway, Since the Tachikaze can't block, I keep an Uchigatana in my right hand, for two handing and blocking. Running a shieldless samurai build with 100% 2 handed weapon block, and the Tachikaze, has been so much fun. A ridiculous amount. And your clear instructions on the mod page made even a rank beginner like me able to get up and running with this mod in no time at all.
Not to mention how incredible this weapon is. Just absolutely stunning. A huge part of satisfaction in videogames is the synchronicity between the visual and audible impact of the weapon -- it all has to meld together to just feel 'right.' And this does. So right. I'm having a great time. This is so beyond satisfying to use. Also, the quick draw dovetails beautifully with offhand weapons for combos between the two.
A couple times by accident I was using the Martial Arts moveset and then rapidly switched to the Tachikaze R1 or R2 quick draw. I was like oh, damn....well that's awesome. Didn't know it could do that.
Oh, forgot to mention I'm using Caestus (Martial Arts in Clever's moveset mod, when two handing and attacking with R1) in my left hand as well. So my current build: Caestus left hand, Tachikaze and Uchigatana right hand. I think the holding the scabbard of the Tachikaze in the other hand while using an offhand weapon is also a nice touch. Very cool.
This is the best weapon ever! Thank you so much for such effort on making this mod!

The mod goat at it again. Hinokami came out at a time where I couldn't download. Heaven Splitter dropped and was what I thought would be my only endgame modded katana kit. Now this drops. My jaw is on the floor. It's an Isshin-like, just like Hinokami, but I'm getting huge Vagabond vibes with it. Now we need new samurai armor to pair with it. Just the robe type stuff, and maybe a menpo like Jin Sakai. I so can't wait to use all three swords when I'm able to set my stuff back up. I take it theres no deflecting like Helm Splitter has due to the flute, and the use of the ds2 heavy parry, and da3 katana party. Thank you for making all these mods! ❤

first vid ive ever seen of you and its made me buy elden ring again. i was pretty much done with it after my first few playthroughs as the combat felt pretty 1 dimensional but for a sekiro lover like me, this is a beautiful sight to see. bravo man 12/10

This is easliest the most awesome and creative set of combined resources I've ever seen in a free piece of content to expand a game. This changes an entire playthrough to a character action game. This would be a character from an action game lol.

Also, I was wondering, do you have any plans on making more movesets for heavier weapons such as greatswords and colossal weapons? I really like your katana movesets but I particularly enjoyed my time with the Dark Moon Ring and God's Bane movesets, and would love to see more heavy weapon action going on. The bonk calls for us I guess lmao.

Another brilliant moveset! I'm doing an entire playthrough with this thing, it really does feel like a weapon you master over the course of the full game. Impeccable design.
If you plan on doing more heavy weapon movesets, have you considered a Crucible Knight type weapon? I've always loved those heavy sweeping strikes and powerful thrust attacks the greatsword knights have. Just a suggestion, I'm sure I'll love your next creations regardless.
