and then make a beautiful park between the Ren Cen and Ford Auditorium. with that ugly parking garage gone and the tunnel entrance and its accompanying traffic jams cleared, we would have a great park and a beautiful Auditorium once again. If they want to build an amphitheater,why not just refurbish the auditorium and use it for conventions when they are at Cobo, and as a film venue or movie theatre, as well as for concerts, meetings and as a landmark. What is wrong with the city that they continue to demolish beautiful buildings or let them get in this horrible condition right in the heart of downtown. How about moving that ugly entrance to the tunnel to Canada by continuing underground for a few blocks and come up off jefferson
