Thanks @Ruth Batt, yes Holly's new trick when I rattle the food. Antibiotics seem to be helping Chickpea so far 👍🐔

Thanks @Barbara, the Vet is a man of few words, gave her a jab & come back if no improvement. Chcikpea is better but Peritonitis also indicates she's laying internally, so it's not good for the old girl 🐔😕

Am I right in thinking the eggs were hers? Her abdomen looks rather bloated still as when you daughter was having a a look
Antibiotics do take time to kick in .I read somewhere she could have hormones to stop her eggs ..Mean something to you but not to me .What we both know is she is a treasure and all want her well ..Thanks for the update Jane and love to the gals this poorly one especially , 👍🐔❤️🐔🐔🐔 and for you , a well earned 🍷.. Greetings from Berlin .

thank you @HelenaMikas Yes antibiotics take a while (had Pharoh's revenge ☹ ) Ivy lays most days, Chickpea occasionally a large egg, she was caught yellow-beaked eating Ivy's (protein). Makes me wonder if she's had this for a while as she's always looked plump. Yes I read hormones can stop egg production for 4 months or so, but doesn't seem right to mess her about further, I had no eggs over winter. As hubby said, she'd been in a Pukka pie 4+ years ago so every day is a bonus.
      Greetings to you too! 👍🐔🍷
