@lisathebeautician6489 Me too. But I live in the UK and freight hopping isn't as common as it is in the USA, but small numbers of people are doing it. UK freight trains are mostly sealed modular wagons with nowhere to park oneself, and yards have high security fencing all around.
You handle the discomforts with admirable strength of character....the music goes so well with the difference phases of the journey. This was the best thing I've seen on UA-cam in a while.
When I see people out there having adventures, even if it's under duress or not the best of times, I feel great hope and not so afraid. Thank you for sharing your adventures!

I was not expecting to see you show your prosthetic routine. That shows great sincerity and courage. I would even use the word, "beauty." Respect. I am old, and I had an older friend who lost his left foot and calf in Vietnam. He always had trouble with rubbing and chafing. It looks like that liquid rubber sleeve thing like you have would have really helped him!
after sitting in a bush and sweating all day once i get on that train, the first thing I'm gonna do after getting out of the yard is wash my liner (it's silicone btw) cuz leaving that dirt in there will cause bad skin irritation.
My grandpa told me stories how he and his dad would ride on boxcars with livestock (they were farmers) going from city to city. They said it was a very good way to see the countryside. Your video was very interesting, and I enjoyed all the scenery. You have talent with that camera, and with what you do. Love the dog, stay safe 🙏

I've never train jumped, but it's always been so inspiring to me. I knew a few crust punks who owned a backpack full of shit and trainhopped around cities to get around and it sometimes makes me want to abandon my life and follow them.

I use the same kind of pack, useful access to the lower compartment for rain gear etc. Your dog is a OG love the utility jacket. Good kit is everything out on the road

Can be super stressful sitting on a car in a yard or siding waiting for the damn thing to hurry up and get going but then once it starts rolling out of the yard and you hear that *bang!* and it starts going faster and faster...ahhh best feeling. Time to relax and start making a meal

I ride passenger trains Amtrak, always fun, this is stepping the game up a bit for a free ride. I cant imagine doing this in New Mexico where the freight trains run 100+MPH... I don't think she hopped trains but that was not out of the question. There was not much crazy shit that girl didn't do until Huntington's disease claimed her life at 40. She looked just like you! BTY, she went to my sister for bail money! LOL I miss her and this vidio brought tears to my eyes.

I travelled with my dog years ago, destination unknown at the time. I was in my van. We had stopped on a little used dirt road out in the country for the night and my dog got into the food supply and I got mad and hollered at her. I must have hurt her feelings, so she decided to pay me back by disappearing. I looked for her for an hour or so before deciding she was gone forever. I turned the van around and with heavy heart, sadly headed back to the main road, and there she was waiting for me. I love dogs!

Right on. I am a long time traveler, kizarney, politician promoter, Segway salesman, blinky lights and novelties, parades (love Mardi gras parades)etc etc. Taking a train too, inside. The California Zephyr Chicago to berkley. They are trying to close People's Park. Going to stand with the People. Been traveling by bicycle for hundreds of miles through Mi and Indiana and Illinois .
