Also while in Massachusetts I attended a SMART policing workshop where they discussed working together with the community in order to achieve the common goals for the community at the police! Yasser, when I was a Community Policing Officer (Supervisor the last 2 years when the division grew larger), for a department on the East Coast (that will remain nameless) we often had 30 or 40 Officers from Departments all over the U.S.A. and even a couple from Europe, the U.K. and Germany as I recall. It was awesome to meet officers from "almost everywhere", we traded shoulder patches, some badges, etc. Pretty cool if you're into that, but I understand non police types might not get a thrill out of such activities. Anyway, cops get to go to "conventions", etc. too. We even learned a few things, LOL.
I’m a police officer too and I don’t really like seeing police working together. I do the police work in my grandmothers neighborhood. It’s like a gated little thing. They let me drive my own car and stuff. Actually I choose to drive my own car. And there isn’t technically anyone above me, when I say “they” let me......I mean like my grandmother and her friends. When I say I’m “police” I just mean like I make sure things are ok around there so “I’m a cop” is technically a little strong but my neighborhood that I work knows what I mean. I keep it safe. And I take out their garbage and stuff, well my grandmothers I take out at least. On Mondays I take it out for Tuesday mornings. Last week I took it out was the only time really that I’ve ever done it for her. Ok well I’m not a cop, I took out my grandmothers garbage last week, whatever. It felt really like being a cop.
THIS IS ME TRYING TO BE FUNNY. I RESPECT THE SHIT OUT OF POLICE, ALL POLICE!! ITS THE HARDEST JOB IN THE WORLD AND THEY HAVE TO MAKE LIFE AND DEATH DECISIONS IN A SPLIT SECOND. LETS GET BACK TO HONORING AND RESPECTING OUR POLICE MEN AND POLICE WOMEN. IF YOU DONT RESPECT THEM, THATS FINE, JUST KEEP IT MOVING, DONT BE DISRESPECTFUL, THEY DONT DESERVE THAT!!!
I must say, that these VLOGS really change my perception of the police... GREAT Job bro... It shows that there is humanity in policing... Love it!!! Subscribed...!!!

Miami police does a great job around Miami.. I think Miami police should interact more with kids they are our future.. And have the events posted on Vlog.. But you guys do a great job...

As a police officer you are allowed to transport your weapon, but I chose not to.
what are the tattoo restrictions for MPD?
If you have sleeves or exposed tats you have to cover them up while on duty.

Cameron Raiford Most Departments love if you have some sort of background in law, etc. however the bare minimum is either a GED or a high school diploma.

It's not a unit it's a vehicle that the best patrol officers ride around the beach area. But there isn't a specific ATV unit.

The difference between how sunny and bright Miami is vs Boston gloomy and dark even when it is sunny is crazy. BUT we have GREAT police officers here in Boston. Loved this video.
