Check out the official SLUURP teaser trailer concept for MOANA 2 (2023) an upcoming Disney animated sequel. After returning home from her incredible journey across the sea, Moana discovers that her long lost brother has finally returned to their village. She is overjoyed to be reunited with him, and the two of them quickly become close once again. However, Moana soon realizes that her brother is not the same person she remembers. He has become dark and distant, and seems to be hiding something from her. With the help of her friends, Moana sets out to uncover the truth about her brother's secrets, and discovers a dangerous plot that could threaten the entire island. She must put an end to it before it's too late.

NEWS ABOUT THE PROJECT 📰
Moana is the titular protagonist of Disney's 2016 animated feature film of the same name. Born on the island village of Motunui, Moana is the daughter of Chief Tui and Sina, with an inherited love for the seas and voyaging. When her island becomes endangered by a life-killing darkness, Moana is chosen by the ocean to journey across the sea and save the world-with the help of the shape-shifting demigod Maui.
Directed by John Lasseter, the movie will be written by Andrew Stanton and Michael Arndt. The Film will be released on June 10 2022 and be released in the Disney Digital 3-D, RealD, and IMAX 3D.

I am sorry to say this but I do not think that this is a real trailer as I recognise some of those clips such as 'The Seabeast'.

Moana could be shown as a hula dancer for trinkets in Hawaii and the sequel because Polynesia was the true birthplace of hula dancing. My specialist character, Fauna Lecauwolua (Tina Fey) is a hula dancer. She heard about Moana's quest and sought out the coordinates of her island home and the islet locales she attended for secret fulfillments while becoming intertwined with the moon.
Thing is .. moana is based of pacific Island culture in general.. not one specific type of islander .. there's songs throughout the music that are cook Island.. yet she's wearing clothes that look like she's Samoan or from tonga .. they've gotten all aspects of pacific culture and myths and pretty much put it into one movie
