탈락이라는 제도가 없었으면 다른 팀들도 스토리, 서사 위주의 무대를 꾸몄을텐데 탈락이라는 제도 하나 때문에 점점 퍼포먼스 위주, 자극적인 경연이 되어버린거같아 아쉽다. 순위를 얻기 위해서는 강렬하고 화려해야 기억에 남으니까. 근데 울어스 짱어스 이제까지 해왔던 무대 모두 의미있고 곱씹을 수록 뜻깊은거같아. 자극적인 무대보다 여운남는 무대해줘서 고마워 보면 볼 수록 계속 보고싶어지고 여러번 봐도 새로운 의미를 찾을 수 있는 무대라 좋은거같아 순위에 연연하지 않고 항상 하고 싶은 무대 해서 더 멋있는거같아 우리한텐 항상 울어스가 일등이야 고마워

why is nobody talking about the flowers that Juliet was holding? the blue flower at the end is a blue rose, and it symbolises impossible to accomplish, something unattainable that will only remain a dream that can never be realized. When falling in love, the roses in blue can bring a hope for an unlikely or unrequited falling in love (taken from the internet)
im not sure about the first flower she was holding though. but the blue rose has a really deep meaning for this story when i saw the meaning for the blue rose my heart just shattered
oneus really put in a lot of thoughts into this performance, perfectly portrays the sad love of romeo and juliet

The 1st roses were red I think it stands for their passion ,desire ,longing and deep affection....
It also explains why Ravn’s raps both had different vibes. The first one is like passionate knowing this is giving the vibe of Romeo confessing his love to Juliet as she is on her balcony. The seconds sounds sad as it’s the story’s ending where he believes Juliet is dead.
whatever the rankings, ONEUS will be remembered for showing their true colors, sending a deep message, and telling stories. there's so much more than just performing for ONEUS, they don't perform to impress other people, no pretenses, just pure genuineness to make people feel what they aim to show: their burning passion to make people happy, to inform people about relevant issues and portray other relatable situations through their music. they don't aim for the "wow factor" alone, they always make sure to leave an impact. i think that's what makes them, them. as a to moon, being proud of them is an understatement ♡

Honestly, I don't want them to get eliminated because I want to see their creative performances and great storyline that they will make. I really don't care about the ranking but I just don't want them to get eliminated because I know they did very well to show their amazing and great performances. They arrange every performance very well like they are fully ready to fight on stage

Can we talk about how multitalented Leedo is. Like the boy can rap like no tomorrow yet has one of the prettiest singing voices I’ve ever heard. Not to mention his incredible dance talent. Like damn talk about a powerhouse.
For me all oneus member are all rounders main rapper like ravn who can sing, main vocal like seoho who can rap and dance, and main dancer hwanwoong who can rap too.
But leedo real deep voice with his singing voice is truly a whole new level of duality.

진짜 너무 멋있다 원어스..로미오와 줄리엣이라는 컨셉 자체도 자칫 잘못 표현하면 뻔해질수 있는데 너무 잘해줘서 고맙고 눈물난다 진짜로.. 원어스 너무 잘하는데 왜 꼴지하는건지 너무 이해안간다 내눈엔 너무 멋있고 레전드인데..글고 이런 무대를 하면 환웅이 메인댄서이기도 하고 표현력이 좋으니까 센터인 경우가 많았는데 이 무대는 로미오가 레이븐이기에 나올수있는 무대라고 생각함..레이븐의 표현력과 마지막 싱잉랩이 노래의 분위기랑 퀄리티를 한층 살려준거 같다. 레이븐의 실력이 좋은건 알고있었는데 이렇게 표현력이 좋은줄은 몰랐음..
+무대 마지막에 다시 보니깐 빨간장미랑 파란장미가 같이 흩날리다가 그 후엔 파란장미만 흩날리는데 대충 해석해보자면 빨간장미 꽃말은 불타는 사랑,파란장미 꽃말은 이루어질수 없는 사랑,불가능이 있는데 '처음엔 이뤄질수 없음에도 불타게 사랑했으나 줄리엣이 죽은척한걸 로미오가 오해하고 독약을 먹었고 로미오가 죽음으로써 이뤄질수 없는,불가능의 사랑이 되었다'가 아닐까 생각해봅니다..
줄리엣 역할? 맡으신 댄서분께서 들고 계시는 꽃다발도 레이븐 첫 랩파트에서는 빨간 장미였다가 마지막엔 파란 장미로 바뀌네요!
I feel like Oneus really stuck to who they are throughout this show and didn’t try to please others and change their performances to get better scores but rather stayed true to themselves and I really respect that from them. Don’t get me wrong I love all the other groups on the show too, it’s just a feeling I got from watching Oneus throughout.

i just realized that it rained blue rose petals, which means true but unattainable love. romeo and juliet truly loved each other but it was hopeless for them to be together. now i'm crying again

인피니트 내꺼하자는 칼군무에 특정안무가 떠오르는 강렬한 곡인데 그걸 인피니트가 생각나지않게 편곡하고 무대를 만들었다는게 놀랍습니다.. 원어스의 내꺼하자가 되어버렸어요. 아티스트 아이돌이라는게 과한 평가가 아니라는걸 보여준거같아요. 투문은 아니지만 입덕하길 잘했습니다ㅜ. 자랑스런 그룹으로 성장하고 있어서 감사합니다.. 원어스가 원어스했습니다..

After the 90'sec performance, I noticed that the group performed before them had a natural(genuine) reactions compared to other groups when reacting to each other. And after they had performed WD, the looked on other groups faces were very very obvious(?) And it happen all the way until they performed with Lit.

as a non fan, this performance is a masterpiece. the way interpreted the story of romeo and juliet is really beautiful. esp the last part when he kneel down and going to drink the poison, that part got me

I wrote this in the comments of their H.O.T. stage, but I think now I can elaborate more. The first song I listened to was "A song written easily" (because I just got into Kpop a few month ago). After being informed of RtK, I just watched their H.O.T performance and this was me spiraling down. I fell in love with all their music. I don't know, their style really fits my taste.
I loved other stages (like Wannabe, We Must Love, Reveal, the T.O.P, Kill this Love, Heroine cover etc.), too, and I tried to listen to the other songs of those groups. It's no hate, definitely not, they are all amazing artists and performaner, but most of the other title tracks were just not my kind of tea.
I know that RtK is an opportunity to showcase your skills and - damn - all of them do really well. But for me (only in my opinion!!) I only got hooked by ONEUS and I think everything they performed and showed fits into their style, fits into their whole musical journey until now. That's why I got really stuck here and fell down a deep rabbit hole.
I mean, concepts are constantly changing and it's a good thing if you want to expand your diversity - but all I wanted to say was, that ONEUS really stick to their theatrical, meaningful and story based performances (with god tier vocals) and I am so glad, I found them through RtK. That feels like it's their overall and immersive concept they follow and can be adapted to all kinds of different music (I mean, they do have immense variety in their title tracks and bsides!) and I guess that's something you can easily find in all of their RtK performances as well.
Sorry for this long text, I just wanted to get a few thoughts out, because I have no friends who listen to Kpop and my poor fiancé has to listen to everything on his own but I can't bother him with every thought I have q.q :)

Yes, I have to agree about them sticking to their core value. Despite the unfortunate ranking placement (which clearly does not make sense at all, as we know Mnet will always be Msnake, and that fact will never change), I really admire seeing their positivity and determination throughout the show. Most of their conversation are more to self-improvement instead of focusing solely on the ranking. If I were a young viewer, I would say they are some of the best role-model out there. The attitude that they carry. Oneus really have that different vibe than the rest which stood out for me the most (merely my opinion!!! No hate intended)

As an Inspirit and To Moon at the same time, this rendition of Be Mine was a masterpiece that i want to tattoo on my mind. Its been 9 years since this song was released and this song was really meaningful to us (if this song wasn't able to win at #1 at any music show, the group was already disbanded since it's their last chance T_T then on June 9 will be 10th anniversary) so while watching, i got teary eyed and i got emotional at the same time since i cannot see Infinite members nowadays since they some of the members are in military service. I just want to say thank you ONEUS and i will forever be thankful and cherish this moment and i really do pray to see you on the next round :)

와 진짜 원어스 아이디어랑 표현력이 너무 좋음 내꺼하자를 로미오와 줄리엣으로 풀어낼 줄 몰랐음,,ㅠㅠ 인피니트는 강인한 단단한 느낌인데 원어스는 스토리에 맞게 뭔가 애절하고 슬픔을 잘 표현해서 어스만의 느낌으로 잘 풀어낸 것 같다 중간에 국기같은 거 찢는 것도 대박이고 마지막에 독약 보면서 끝내는 것도 소름 돋았음 무대보기 전에는 가자처럼 동양풍이 너무 잘 어울려서 도원경 진짜 찰떡인데 못하게 돼서 너무 아쉬웠는데 내꺼하자도 되게 잘 살려내서 너무 좋았 ㅠㅠㅠ 원어스 최고임 진짜 너무 잘해주고 있어서 항상 고맙고 덕분에 투문이들은 너무 행복해 ㅜㅠ (로투킹 가자 무대보고 입덕한 투문)

Right, they're probably the group with the best consistent storytelling in RTK. All of their performances reference some form of culture and have an interesting plotline. Plus their Warrior's Descendant cover had such a strong message aaaaaa

IMO, RTK is like a plain white canvas for ONEUS. They have come to RTK to paint it with their colours. Hence, we see those beautiful painting. Also, I personally think that RTK is basically their training ground at this point ;-; They didnt even think much about the ranking but instead they wanted to improve more of themselves by learning from their "flaws". For me, that's very very admirable :3 If you asked me, do I learnt a lot from ONEUS? A big fat YES!! Mostly about life lessons😁

This pain and suffering that we have felt for the past 1 month will not stop here because our journey with ONEUS has not yet ended.

The whole group is a good storyteller, without doubt. At first I thought Romeo&Juliet was a bit old-school and may not be a good concept for stage performance. But ONEUS proves me wrong! I love the way they use RAVN to connect each part. The song follows the story and explains it well. I heard this song a lot before, and I'm glad to see the lyrics in a different way.
SEOHO's voice is so touching that makes the story trustworthy. RAVN is a good actor and he is especially good at combining RAP&Melody. LEEDO definitely can be a main vocal, just give him some time. And HWANWOONG!!!! This man is INCREDIBLE! I mean look at his facial expression! Look at his dance break! Just UNBELIEVABLE! And yes, Keonhee&Xion also did a good job!
So I agree with someone here, who said ONEUS have their own color. You can find no boy groups like ONEUS.
Same, I was a bit worried when I heard Romeo and Juliet would be adopted. But the song really suits the story, idk, may be the feelings and the lyrics, also Ravn gives me Romeo vibes. Being a To Moon for almost one year, I agree Oneus is quite different from other groups. And they are improving, really proud of them.

This definitely did the original song justice while showing their oneus flare. So proud of them, I hate the eliminations but I think this should have brought their ranking back up. At this point I will cry for whoever gets eliminated since I love all groups, but this was an amazing performance and they deserve at least 3rd or 4th in my opinion
I've been trying to identify exactly what it is which makes Oneus's performances so "Oneus like" even when they're covering another group's songs and I finally figured it out. Oneus don't just perform focused on the vocals or the dance and they don't try to give a hype performance. Their strength is in conveying a message or story through their perfomances and I'm glad they stayed true to that during rtk. When you watch all their performances you can tell a lot of thought was put into them. They really remind me of VIXX because VIXX are known as the "concept idols" because they always bring their concepts to life on stage. At this point I don't want them to get eliminated and if they do I'll probably cry for the next few years but I'm glad they went on rtk. Mnet is shit and doesn't deserve them but whatever

The thing I appreciate about Oneus's performances during RTK is that beyond just embodying a theme or concept, they really make an effort to tell a story. It was most obvious with Warrior's Descendant (e.g., the dangers of perpetuating a vicious cycle of violence) and this one, but even their more conceptual fantasy performances like Lit and Come Back Home had a clear sense of conflict, buildup, and resolution. There are lots of comments already pointing out the references to the real Romeo and Juliet story, but I'll point a couple of them out again.
Romeo and Juliet are from rivaling families but are desperately in love. The beginning of this video actually portrays the end of the original play, where Juliet (played by Purple Kiss's Yuki) takes a sleeping potion and pretends to be dead. However, because of several mishaps, Romeo (Ravn) is not informed of this plan, and he actually thinks she is dead.
The choreo during the song itself serves as a series of flashback scenes. We see them in the catacombs, represented by the torches. Ravn's rap at 1:52 ("by the window at the same spot") refers to the famous balcony scene where Romeo and Juliet first confess their love to each other. The scene at 2:04 where Leedo and Keonhee fall backwards references the duel between Mercutio and Tybalt that ended in both of them dying. And of course, the cutting of the cloth at 3:10 is a pretty blunt reference to the schism between the Montagues and the Capulets.
Ravn's rap at 4:01, right before he drinks the poison to join Juliet in death, is incredibly ironic: "I will never become a fool / sacrificed by fate / even if fate separates us." In the background, we can see Juliet waking up from her sleep, so in the end Romeo literally was the fool sacrificed by fate.
On top of the fantastic storytelling, the arrangement itself is god-tier. The violin intro is a reference to the love theme from the film score of Romeo and Juliet (1968). The pizzicato strings at 1:10 are a great touch (but that's just because I'm a sucker for orchestral rearrangements). I'm also simply enamored by literally all of Seoho's parts, ESPECIALLY at 3:44. His vocal color is literally perfect for illustrating the idea of "desperate longing."
There's so much replay value to this video, and this performance definitely deserved more recognition. But yeah, I'm writing this comment a year too late because life works like that.

They always deliver performances full of symbolism and meaning, their concepts are always so well thought out and incredibly performed!!! They deserve so much better. This performance was like watching a musical and I was so enamored by it... I really hope they don't get eliminated, they're one of the best performers in the show.

This stage just really hits the feel in so many ways...the whole set up is beauitiful, the song allowed their vocals to shine so well, and it also allowed oneus to act and give out another storyline i just...im just so impressed rn and im feeling so many emotions watching this stage. Also the fact that they use romeo and juliet as the theme is just genius ugh. My bias seoho’s vocals really hit me, and ravns overall performance along with his acting just got me in awe...I love stanning oneus and will never stop stanning my kings

Well, Oneus fit a whole opera into 4 minutes performance so it can't be not amazing. Oneus's performances are unforgettable, because they left a big impact in our hearts. Bullying, heroism, and now Romeo Juliet? I really want them to keep on performing. They're born for the stage.

This is beautiful. What amazes me most about Oneus is how they convey a story without words - because I don't speak Korean and yet from the first moments I knew this was Romeo and Juliet and I felt the conflict between families and how it escalates, leading to tragedy. I'm a mum to teenage girls who love their kpop so I've been exposed to many different groups - Oneus is the only group I've developed my own liking for, I think because they seem less juvenile and their messages deeper and therefore requiring reflection. I don't really like this competition thing - drama and pressure just for youtube views and ad revenue - I hope it leads to more fans for Oneus so they'll be able to continue to make their music, their way.

Even when the results weren't what they deserved, they kept on preforming, having fun, gaining experience and elevating themselves. All the groups are great and deserve the support. We know rankings are important and we want them to be on top, however, even when they weren't, they still put in as much effort in each performance each time with references and a solid concept. These are all valuable experiences, they've kept their colour and knowing that they deserve more and that they continued to push themself for us and themselves. This shows they've potential, saw it in Valkery and still see it here cause they are motivated and have fun. Continue to support, welcome new people and support other groups aswell. Remember how Mamamoo went through Queendom and how Oneus have so far, the peacekeepers!

Ravn's last part where he was singing was the finishing touch for me, especially the lyrics. (I think Ravn added that part, since he was credited as one of the lyricist in the beginning.) They portrayed so much emotions, and I felt it even through the screen, imagine watching this in person. My mouth was wide open the whole time, I was in so much awe and goosebumps everywhere. Oneus had blessed us once again with a masterpiece.
All of RAVN's parts were written by him I think, because none of his parts were in the original song.. and his part says a lot about this performance concept
얘소울yaesoul Oh yes, I forgot to mention his first rap part, but yes I think so too. As far as I know, Ravn always gets involved in the lyric writing. I know the song but have limited knowledge about the meaning of the original version but this performance brings another whole meaning to me. I think that the concept fits the song so well, and it’s so mesmerizing to watch.

No matter what the outcome is for oneus, and all the groups, they are leaving with so much pride, improvement and confidence!! Compared to their 90 second stage they have improved so much and it makes me so happy!! Coming into rtk I was just a casual listener with oneus but I’m definitely gonna support them fully from now on.

I just don't understand why Oneus' self evaluation always got the worst score while audiences give higher score.. Why the others team didn't recognize their stage and talent..
@@Anonx23 yeah i am thinking like that, of course they got the worst score in self evaluation because the 2 groups in the bottom are their rival, as we all know very very and too had a collab stage, i am pretty sure they vote each other to save them to avoid the elimination. It can prooves by another performance too like pentagon (sorry for those who's fan of pentagon), they got high for self evaluation i think just because the seniorsm, but when it comes to online voters, they were in bottom. I don't think the self evaluation isn't the best one, i mean okay they are an idol so they choose better than us cuz they have experience, but still don't forget they are a part on RTK, they need to vote which can't effect their rank.

@@Anonx23 I think about it too. I'am frustation about Oneus last ranking in first round because self point by oppoment. even though they got a high score in the second round, but they still ranked lower because they started with scores that differed greatly.

Not really a Oneus fan, but just want to say this performance was quite impactful and in my opinion, their rankings should have been higher overall. Hope they will last till the final stage... they deserve it.

This competition is a bit stressful actually. Every performance was so beautiful and extravagant compared when you watch music show or PD performance. It's a bit shameful because it has elimination. Whether Oneus can proceed to the next round or not, I hope a lot of people can see their determination, hard work and talents through this show.
