- Doing a league wide re-draft if the NBA were to restart from square one today.

Jayson tatum I'd put over embib, just cause of the age and the mileage embib has. Everyone forgets tatum is the hub of the celtics offense and averaged 30 points on around 61% true shooting. He's an extremly versitile defender who killed the lob game from Dallas in the finals and is amazing at driving along with hitting catch and shoot threes (also pretty good at contested threes, he does take too many of them though).
who the fuck is embib
The good thing about Jokic and Lukas games is that they will most likely not drop off too noticeably with age…
Wow. The top five: all born outside the US.
Yep
I love how people are just ignoring the injury history of 7'4" players after seeing Wemby play one healthy season. If he has a long career that's not impacted by injuries, he would literally be the first player of his height to do that. I think that should factor into the calculus more when you're thinking about drafting him vs. a more proven commodity. I'm not questioning his upside. Nor am I questioning whether a GM should draft him #1 in an actual draft. But for the purposes of this hypothetical experiment, I don't think it's nearly as clearcut as you're making it.
Super doubt teams would draft these aged stars over Paulo Banchero, Chet Holmgren, Evan Mobley, Jalen Brunson, and a decently long list of other young players. The teams built around the previous generation of stars were not relevant in the playoffs last year, the guard has changed.
Tatum should be higher up on the list.
Jayson Tatum On The Detroit Pistons Would Be Scary
1. Luka 2. Ant 3. Wemby
I feel like Jokic just gives you a different form of highlights
id rather have Devin Booker than JT, Embiid and Lebron. He's young and an amazing scorer who doesn't need the ball. Reminds me a hell of a lot about prime Klay.
Idk bout JT the other two easily tho
If Steph had an allstar no.2 like most other title contenders he would be a great choice for 3 more yrs of championship runs.
Only thing I would include was what team the players going to: The Spurs would have SGA and Embiid and might be the runaway best team in the league
I'd add Haliburton and Booker over Lebron and Steph, maybe throw Ozempic Zion in there late too
My list
1. Tobias Harris
2. Jeremy Lin
3. Austin reeves
4. Tyler Herro
5. Isiah Hartenstein
6. Dalton Knecht
7. Dillon Brooks
8. Derrick Rose
9. Khris Middleton
10. John Wall
Stop it
Brother you have ruined it including Lebron
How did he ruin it?
Come on now, you don’t think a team would take the cash cow of the league in the top 10?
@@And.One.Hoops1 I would assume top10 teams would like to contend. Bottom teams for sure, would take that milking cow.
@@And.One.Hoops1 I m biased.
I think that there are uncomfortable similarities between the careers of Derrick Rose and Ben Simmons.
A good lesson to learn from both of them is that everyone's "prime" is different and when we judge players, I judge from their VERY first to VERY last game. It doesn't matter if you were had an MVP prime, if you were a non impactful journeyman towards the end, your all time status takes a hit.
And thus, is My unwanted opinion of the day!
That's a fair point actually. Also important to remember that development and progression isn't always linear
NO CAP DEANDRE JORDAN IS TOP 5
So the Celtic is the #1 team… but their top player is at #10….
In a league wide redraft, yes. He may be the top player on the top team, but that doesn’t make him the best player in the league. He’s not even a top 5 player in the league
Jokic, Doncic, Wemby, SGA, Edwards, Giannis, Morant, Banchero, Adebayo, Tatum, Jalen Williams, Mitchell, Haliburton, Sengün. I can't see point taking 30+ players at top15 and also injury prone's. I think Morant isn't. I don't like Booker, i think him as a team best player, you can't never win a title.
Jdub top 10 is crazy. Bro not even top 20 at best
Steph number 7 again ?? Are you trolling my friend ?? 😂😂
Where would you take Steph? Don’t forget, he’s 36
@@And.One.Hoops1
No I’m kidding ofc but it’s funny that he is number 7 at the draft 🤣🤣 like in real life
I’m taking Jokic over wemby at #1
Oof, that’s risky given his age
I WANT IGUODALA
LOL!!!
If Steph had an allstar no.2 like most other title contenders he would be a great choice for 3 more yrs of championship runs.
