Very nice observation johnathon124. I agree with your observation of the visual result. I also agree that this is not the 256th level the authors try to make happen; they test the level variable in their javascript and do something else with it. This is an alternate reality 256th level (spooky). What determines the game level, what you see visually or what value is stored in memory? If it is what value is in memory, then I like to argue that this a 256th level since the memory says so.

oh oh buddy hahaha. To intercept the javascript you could use ettercap filters.
you could also just run it on a local webserver and change the javascript code?
