Your idea is interesting, and for about a month I've been planning to make a similar configuration, but I'm thinking of going the other way around - using a P-Bass (with active Glockenklang electronics - treble and bass) as a base and adding a MM pickup. Undoubtedly, the MM pickup in this case will sit about 7-8 millimeters closer to the bridge than its original location, but that doesn't bother me that much, because other than the slap, MM pickups don't really appeal to me as a feature anyway. However, they allow for modifications, especially if they are divided into A. single coil (1 or 2), B. in parallel and C. series. Then the whole experience is worth it. Your video is really very revealing. However, I would allow myself to make one recommendation: in the next clip, can you demonstrate a version using the active preamp and with newer strings, please. In my humble opinion, the P pickup sounds really extremely natural, but the MM is quite deaf, which is generally not characteristic of it at all. So I guess maybe you should try "ringier" nickel strings or replace the pickup, say Nordstrand The Big Man 4, which is very rich sounding. Indeed, it is quite expensive, but given the configuration, it can change your bass for the better. Well, I'm just sharing my personal view on the matter anyway. By the way - listening to your demo, for me the optimal option as a combination is when both pickups are engaged together. I wish you success and I'm glad that other musicians (like me) are looking for this hybrid sound. Cheers, Wess

Tinha não kkkkkkk ele é um chinês, mas eles não tem muita diferença de construção não, o mais barato que achar é sucesso! Cara, pra ser sincero eu gostei mais dele HH como está hoje. Consegui separar as quatro bobinas e deixar mais versátil, acabei gostando assim. Mas ainda tenho o escudo e os captadores pra deixar daquela forma.
Sim, foi uma experiência! Hoje ele tá com um captador single Jazz Bass no braço e com outro escudo. Eu curti com os dois captadores separados, os dois juntos não me agradou. Só achei uma opção legal pq dei 70,00 nesse captador kkkkkk Eu vou fazer outro vídeo de como ele tá agora. Agora sim tá show! Obrigado pelo comentário!
