Doesn't he later say that TBYS had no evidence "aside from that one tumblr post"? Implying the post where she explicitly calls on her fans to report a video is just not enough evidence to say she's calling for his video to be mass reported. Then I recall he brought up the picture of her hiking, and assumed TBYS was acting out of malice when he didn't include the description posted alongside the picture, while also saying the context of the picture was super obvious from the fact she was sitting on a log and surrounded by dirt.
Really seems like he already decided TBYS was guilty, and wanted to frame every part of the story from that perspective.

I have watched Turkey Tom and Omni's stream (before he took it down), and they both independently argued that it did not make a lot of difference. Omni even shook his head in disapproval when he first watched Ilyssa's video including that famous caveat, indicating that he believes the entirety of Ilyssa's message is bogus. The thing that really stressed me out about his video is that, in trying to make TBYS look worse, he shows videos and thumbnails of other creators who also made videos talking about Illymations. One of those people is me. My first video hadn't even hit 1,000 views when he uploaded his video. Makes sense considering I'm a much smaller channel in comparison. I was thankful to see that he never used my video to take me out context to make it seem as if I have something against, because I don't, but he still showed my video title and thumbnail. I got really stressed out because I got the impression that he was trying to insinuate that I don't like her because she's woke and promoted obesity. When I did neither of those things. There's a lot you can criticize from both TBYS and Illymations, but man do I hate the shit Noah tried pulling with his video. Dude already has beef with Think Before You Sleep so of course he's gonna do whatever he can to make him look like a villain. Which if you read his comments, it's working.

I've watched Noah's video and couldn't watch more than 5 minutes because of how much I was stopping it and thinking to myself how much wrong there is that he says in it. Literally the only good point he has, out of like 20 in that period of time, was that taking a video down isn't the same as taking the whole channel down. I also liked how he immidietly manimupalted his audience by not mentioning the fact she didn't watch the vid and that the vid doesn't break any UA-cam rules, which I have indeed checked for myself. Scum of a creator.
Videos that get taken down very often lead to channel strikes, so it still poses as a threat to the channel regardless, and also possible revenue lost from having a video removed. There's no defending what could have happened lol
To my understanding that's not exactly how UA-cam works. From what I can tell, If a video is struck on copyright grounds, yes, that will immediately demonitize THAT video alone, or in worse cases get it removed. I'm pretty sure this will also result in one channel strike.
However, having a mass flagging campaign doesn't just result in one creator asking UA-cam to take down another creator's video, it can result in multiple strikes against the channel itself if there's enough angry people. Three strikes before the cool down window and channel's completely nuked, back to square one.

This drama is what introduced me to TBYS and as Noah said 30,000 other subscribers, so who’s to say that the doxxers had just stumbled upon the drama and just wanted to act on it. Just because a person brings to light an idea/issue, that doesn’t make everyone else who agrees with it a fan. The idea of UA-camrs being responsible for their fans is definitely a slippery slope because what would constitute an individual as a fan? The only way to reasonably say that the UA-camr is to blame is if they state that intention of action, as Illymation did.
(Also I heard the argument that Illy isn’t responsible for it because of it being on a separate platform but so were the screenshots that Noah showed. It looked like 4chan)

The main thing that Noah pointed out that sorta made me take a step back from TBYS is the "bum" framing Noah pointing out. There were a couple other examples like the food thing where apparently when you scroll down she was eating something healthy in the next picture or something like that (I was audio only), and the cut that made it seem like Illy said eat whatever you want no matter what without the slight context before and in between the cut. The Noah vid aside from that was pretty bad but those points about framing makes it hard to really fully trust TBYS on other framing topics since he's made an emphasis on proper framing in many of his own videos and then stepping on his own morals.
