I really like the impression of 80's Scanimate, remember that there were *no* computers that could do real time video then. There is an engineer keeping the last one running. It does all the graphics and animation in analog real time by bending the scan lines, and that creates distinctive artifacts that I hope you will add to your future work. If you want more details, he has posted numerous Scanimate samples on UA-cam, and I would be happy to explain how to achieve the same effects.
