Me too have diabetes 2, and I have taken Metformin for years and I had lost weight
From 200 pounds today 140 and the last time I had 109 glucose test results and I am very excited to get back on my lbs!!

I think there’s a lot. Of truth to this . I got covid and recovered at home it took a long time as my sugars were not controlled . When more came out I focussed on sugars and started new meds and kept up with the metformin and I’ve not got sick at all during this pandemic . I’ve realized the importance of keeping my sugars under control .

Hooray, I take metformon. I also took two pneumonia vaccines, one was the prevnar vaccine.
This is a very interesting topic, I am a diabetic and have been taking metformin for years, when me and my husband got covid in late 2020, my sugar was controlled, I was taking multi vitamins and taking metformin, we were sick for about a month, but we recuperated at home, maybe what they say about metformin could be true.
What about people who had a Pneumonia vaccine?I am sure that also protected them. Did they do a study about that too?
Many pneumonias exist from fungal, viral, bacteria, and some deep lung like Covid are extremely dangerous. It’s a type that destroyed the lung tissue. This is far more sever than a normal viral pnemonia. I forgot the name of it. I have a medical book and I think there’s like six or seven of them listed in there

That's true- although we know many of the effects of metformin, we don't know the exact chemical mechanism of how it works. It was originally developed around 100 years ago, but they weren't quite sure what to do with it. Then insulin was discovered shortly after, so metformin was forgotten about for decades.
@@sugarhighchannel People talk about "miracle drugs" but metformin really seems to fit the title. That's kind of amazing

Hell I take 2000 mg of Metformin and 10mg of jardiance a day for my diabetes.. I must be super charged.. LOL...
Lol, combine a Covid vaccine with that and you should be in great shape!
So simply you are 150 kg fat guy any virus is dangerous including Grip virus etc can kill you. So people who have diabetes who use their pils have better blood results & their bodies are more ready for Sars 19. People who have higher sugar rates are defenceless. İt's like besieged castle in ruins and metformin is additional reinforcement for defence .

+ no wonder how many deaths in us obesity is Extreme there. Maybe goverment should gave free to all citizens it will help reduce infected & death numbers
High sugar intake or levels in the body destroy the immune system. Then top off an autoimmune issues then it makes things worse
