Hi Guys, another great vid. Totally agree the roof is “a bit of a phaf!” Porsche really need to sort that out for the next generation. Maybe a bifold roof similar to the Pista Spider you’re expecting. Really looking forward to seeing your customisations. As for the blank plastic plugs for the heated seats. I have a suggestion Damian. Not sure if you have Apple Car Play option or Bluetooth connectivity for a mobile phone installed, but, you could do the following. Pop out both blanks and take them an electronics specialist. Have them custom fit a USB to one or both of them and/or an alternate power socket (like a cigarette lighter socket) to the other. Then an auto electrician to connect and install them. Now I’m not suggesting you are smokers or would even consider smoking in such a great little sports car. But once installed these sockets could be used to power a radar detector and/or provide a facility to recharge your mobile phones or video camera, etc. Now I realise that my suggestion is a small departure from the purist homage to the original, but, it maybe better than the “cheapskate blank plastic button syndrome’.
Great video guys but a GT3 engine it does not have! It's a bored out standard 911 engine from 3.0 to 4.0 sans turbos. Also you need to be careful with the roof. You did it wrong.
