Ekachakra Dhama | The Holy Land of Lord Nityananda's Appearance | Navadvipa Mandala Parikrama

The Supreme Lord Sri Krishna appeared in Navadvipa (West Bengal) as Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to establish the Sankirtana movement (congregational chanting of the holy name of the Lord, the Yuga-dharma for this age). To help the Supreme Lord in His mission, Lord Balarama appeared as Nityananda Prabhu. He assisted Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu by spreading the holy name of the Lord throughout Bengal.
Sri Nityananda Prabhu appeared in the village of Ekachakra in the district of Birbhum (West Bengal). He was born as the son of Padmavati and Hadai Pandita in 1474 AD on the thirteenth day of the bright fortnight in the month of Magha (Magha Shukla Trayodashi).
In this virtual tour of Ekachakra Dhama, a place also connected with the lives of the Pandavas in the Mahabharat, we will learn about the various picturesque pastime places connected with Lord Nityananda's life where He demonstrated His divine powers and the symptoms of a pure devotee being absorbed in the Lord's pastimes.
