Thank you for the shoutout. Great video by the way.
Where they went wrong was not expanding on who she is as a human being referring to Allyson that is. Besides being the granddaughter of Laurie Strode. And really exploring how traumatized she was after the events of 2018, Kills. Take Samantha Carpenter from Scream 5, 6 for example. Her phone was thrown into nacho cheese by the way. If Allyson had a full on chase scene after Oscar met his demise. Waisted opportunity in my opinion, she had a great fight scene with Michael Myers I’ll give her that. But in Ends it went off the rails in the film. Allyson going off the rails could’ve worked if they handled it correctly in the film. Now the novels for 2018, Kills and especially in Ends Allyson got way more character development than the films. Do I still love Allyson as a character? Yes. Andi Matichak did a fantastic job with what she was given. I felt like David Gordon Green did know what to do with her in Halloween Ends (2022).
    * Allyson used to go on morning runs, and a dog used to scare her but that same dog she used to see was killed.
    * Which was also revealed in the Halloween (2018) novelization.
    * She did blame Karen Nelson for the death of her father Ray Nelson and for not believing Laurie.
    * Allyson did have some interesting thoughts about Dr. Sartain, she wondered if he was monster just like Michael Myers or maybe Dr. Sartain began a therapeutic relationship as a mentally healthy man and over the years he became contaminated by Michael’s insanity, infected as if Michael was some sort of disease she wondered if she was infected by the same disease. She also thought that Karen and Laurie and herself were infected as well. It wasn’t a comfortable thought.
    * When Allyson was fighting Michael she looked into his right eye, she saw something there, she didn’t understand what it was but she only knew one thing it was absolutely utterly in human whatever she saw in Michael’s eyes.
    * Which was also revealed in the Halloween: Kills (2021) novelization.
    * Allyson was put into an ambulance and learns her mom Karen Nelson was killed just as the doors shut.
    * Allyson did move on after the manhunt for Michael on November 1, 2018 and would get annoyed at Laurie’s constant drunken calls in the middle of the night trying to make sure that Allyson was okay. After a night where Allyson threaten to cut Laurie off forever, Laurie finally took Lindsey’s advice and went to therapy, selling almost all of her guns and sobering up as well.
    * Allyson was sick but she was really happy when Lindsey Wallace got Laurie Strode to go get therapy and turn into a positive person that she become overcoming all of this. But she felt like it was a performance art.
    * When Doug Mulaney pulled her over she mentions that they dated was there the night that everything happened to her to consul her and she felt safe with him and she felt connected with him. She zoned out and lived with him in his apartment just to feel protected. Allyson grew a to resent it as she started to get better and he started to remind her of the past. So she never really had feelings for Doug it was just a sense of safety.
    * Laurie even liked it because Allyson was with a police officer and she kinda pushed Allyson towards that.
    * Allyson did have some history with Doug Mulaney, she was bottling everything up after the events of Halloween (2018). Allyson could never quite go all the way with her feelings when she decided to chop all of her off and dye it jet black, she cut half an inch and kept the natural color. When she wanted to burn every single thing in her room she cleaned the house and watched a marathon of home renovation shows instead. And when she wanted to scream out “fuck everything” she just smiled and whispered. The radio felt too exhausting, everything felt too exhausting Work, Home the same thing day in, day out. The depressingly mundane that Allyson felt dead inside. Weeks turned into months that turned into years, and Allyson, without even realizing it, suddenly found herself four years away from the night when she had lost so much. Since then, life had become something to endure rather than experience.
    * She described living with Doug is being the perfect place to disappear when Doug was at work all day Allyson could just watch reality t.v. game shows. She didn’t have a job, she didn’t even need to decide what to eat for dinner for most nights because Doug would decide for her. Allyson also said that she never understood why Karen kept Laurie so far from her until now.
    * The town of Haddonfield had started to spread the rumor of The Cult of Samhain, which they believed would summon a boogeyman every Halloween to kill in order to appease their evil god. They believed Michael Myers wasn’t a human, but rather a supernatural force that infects whoever the Cult desires to carry out their bidding.
    * On the way to show Allyson the Allen’s home, Corey has them cut through the community garden where the Myers house once sat. Allyson notes how decayed and ramshackle it looks now. “On the plot of land where evil lived, life struggled to grow.”
    * When Corey took Allyson for a motorcycle ride he was slowly transferring evil to her. When two cars raced past them Allyson decided to let go, her eyes open, and her arms shot to the air. Allyson screamed excitedly. The thrill electrified her as she embraced this darkness. As she disappeared completely to become a new shape.
    * Which was also revealed in the Halloween: Ends (2022) novelization.
    * Something else that was noted in the Halloween: Ends (2022) novelization is that Michael Myers has the ability to infect others with his evil. It also states that Michael doesn’t attack those who do not fear him and instead he supernaturally plagues their mind with evil after glaring into their eyes.
    * Allyson would reveal that she did grapple with feelings on Corey. She felt strongly about him, but didn’t think it was love because they barely knew each other. She just felt that she couldn’t get enough of the energy he exhibited. When Corey arrived to Laurie’s house, Allyson started to notice he had new wounds and could tell that something probably happened Corey and Doug, not realizing just how right she was.
    * She also revealed that her and Corey did get intimate on the couch before moving upstairs and Allyson seemed obsessed with seeing if Corey can feel any pain. From touching his wounds to kissing him and biting him to eventually pushing her thumb into the stitches on his hand wound. It brought more pleasure to Corey rather than pain. She also reveals that she did confess to Corey Cunningham that she did have nightmares about killing Laurie Strode with the knife that she jaded to stab Michael Myers aka The Shape and that she felt no emotion about it. Which was revealed in the Halloween: Ends (2022) novelization.
    * Allyson stared at Corey, wanting to do just that but not knowing how. She'd spent years keeping everything bottled up. Corey made her want to let it all out.

Feel free to chop it up with me about the novels for Halloween (2018), Halloween: Kills (2021) and Halloween: Ends (2022) and my pitch for a direct sequel to Halloween: Ends (2022). In a future video. I loved the way you broke down the differences between Jamie Lee Curtis’s Laurie Strode and Scout Taylor Compton’s Laurie Strode. And this video as well. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to share your thoughts about certain topics in the “Halloween” franchise. 🎃 🔪

I’m working on a sequel to Halloween: Ends (2022) that focuses on Allyson and gives her more character development than what she got in the last three films.
    By Byron Scott Weaver
Halloween: Reborn - A sequel that would pick up after the events of Halloween: Ends (2022).
    Information:
People that have trauma usually pass it on to others rather it's domestic abuse or verbal abuse. Allyson survives but she has went ballistic and Michael's dead. Allyson adopts the roll of Michael Myers (The Shape). Allyson becoming a killer is a very interesting topic. I think that Michael could have passed his darkness onto Allyson. Part of it through Corey but I think there were signs of it in Halloween (2018) and then in Halloween: Kills (2021), it started to be more apparent in her.. Just like a slow infection. Evil can change shape as we saw through all three of these movies. That being said, Allyson drives off at the end of Halloween: Ends (2022) and will have to deal with that darkside that has begun in her. Since she's dealt with so much trauma. It would be neat if the trauma of everything that’s happened causes Allyson to turn evil and go crazy. Could someone who’s dealing with just seeing everyone around them be slaughtered just go nuts and have a mental snap and then become the killer? I think it’s very well possible. Allyson develops split personality and the evil of Michael Myers (The Shape) is on one side and her true self is the other. Allyson struggles with it that could be a huge psychological thing going on and give Andi Matichak a bunch of stuff to work with as an actress. Allyson has moments where she’s composed and she’s completely normal like Norman Bates was completely normal sometimes. Then all of a sudden she starts to shake or get a tremor and bad things can happen. Allyson can wake up the next morning and they find out that there’s been people killed across town she has no recollection of it at all. I really want to dive into her psyche and how she is battling the darkness in her. She still has some redeemable qualities. The detective played by Kevin Bacon would have some scenes trying to save Allyson. Could it be a risky idea if I tried to tackle mental health in a Halloween movie? Tackling mental health could be very risky. Especially because of the negativity directed towards the last two entries. It could be but with the right director and writers it could work. The right people could make it good or great. Still could be risky for the fans. Look at the last two entries. I think they are good movies but a lot of fans are frustrated with them. Take Scream 5 (2021) and Scream 6 (2023). Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. Here’s why I think it can be beneficial to have this in a “Halloween” movie. Addressing the struggles with mental health and bringing light to this specific topic. Being upfront about the struggles with your state of mind, and showing how mental health matters and constantly facing obstacles. I want this to help people who are not alone and are in a dark place in their lives. Sometimes playing the same type of character can get boring for some actors and actresses. At the end of Halloween: Ends (2022) I do think you could key word “could” do a sequel to it one day. For me personally I would love to see Andi Matichak come back and reprise her role as Allyson again. From an acting standpoint I would love to see her play a villain. If the movie is too long the audience will lose interest. I would say just over two hours long is good. I wouldn't want it to be too long but not too short. If that makes any sense. I honestly think that this idea could work Allyson's character is suffering a kind of P.T.S.D. triggered schizophrenia which sends her very psyche into a spiral. This is a really interesting idea and I think a lot of fans could accept her as the villain under these circumstances. It all really comes makes sense when you think about it. I’m taking a very psychological approach to all which keeps the story grounded and making sense. I think Andi Matichak might be interested in returning to the “Halloween” franchise and to reprise her role as Allyson if this kind of script was presented to her. These ideas are really interesting. Everything from the director to the direction to the score. It would really cool to have John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies to do the score for this film. Make sure the marketing doesn’t show too much in the trailers so that you can keep the audience intrigued without spoiling the best parts of the movie in a two and a half minute long trailer. Keeping Allyson as the main character and center focus is spot on. We got a glimpse of it in “Halloween: Kills (2021)”. But at times it was a little much for me especially with the “Evil Dies Tonight” chants. Now “Halloween: Ends (2022)” on the other hand from an acting standpoint Andi Matichak did a great job with what she was given. You could see her acting chops being displayed in the movie. For me Allyson was one of the best characters in the last three Halloween films. I think my idea of keeping it psychologically based over gore is the right idea. And in my honest opinion “Halloween: Reborn” is a fitting title for this movie. All of the symbolism of death would be very effective. There’s a lot of potential and story where another movie in the this specific timeline could happen. Allyson should definitely have her own movie. If done right it could be an awesome movie going in a different direction where Allyson is the focus on how she tried to “move on” with her life after everything she’s been through and people she’s lost.
    Synopsis:
“Halloween: Reborn” - It picks right up after the events of Halloween: Ends (2022). It switches back and forth between Allyson and the killer (dealing with spilt personality). It would bounce back and forth from Allyson’s P.O.V. then it would switch to the killers P.O.V. depending on the situation or a specific scene and it would take place in Russellville, Illinois. Laurie Strode would pass away from natural causes but Allyson would be on trial for the “murder” of Laurie Strode. It also delves into the psyche’s shadows, blending personal anguish with a critique of societal decay. It’s a visceral exploration of inner demons and external chaos, where each scene serves as a haunting narrative chapter, drawing viewers into a world of intense emotion and raw confrontation. The first part of the story would take place on the eve of Samhain and it would focus on the overall holiday of Halloween and somewhat focusing on Michael Myers aka The Shape. The story would flash forward to October 30, 2018 it would explain what happened to Allyson and then the story shifts to four years later. On November 11, 2022 once all of the mayhem that took place on Halloween of that year Allyson leaves Haddonfield, Illinois to start fresh. She learns some tragic news that changes her life going forward. Smith’s Grove has an unexpected guest and it doesn’t end well. The more Allyson starts to have more nightmares and the more she start to hallucinate more tragic things happen in the town of Russellville, Illinois. Allyson would be on the news for being reported “MISSING” and “DO NOT APPROACH” because of how dangerous she’s become, after she escapes Smith’s Grove Sanitarium just when things can’t get any worse they do, she would be on trial for the “murder” of Laurie Strode. Towards the end of the film she visits rehab to seek help from a therapist and we see a change in Allyson’s behavior for a while. But she gets tempted to do one more crime after being her normal self, the crime that she was tempted to do turns out to be a lot more serious than she thought. The end of the film Allyson leaves an interrogation room to go back to her new house, where she puts on a very familiar looking mask then leaves the house ending her rampage in Russellville, Illinois.

    * "Everyone looks at me like I have it so put together. But it's bs. Almost every day, I feel like I'm on a tightrope where, any second, I could fall off."
    * Allyson rested her head on Corey's bare chest. She listened to his heart.
    * "I've had dreams." Allyson continued with trepidation, admitting something she had never even thought about telling anyone.
    * "Nightmares, where I wake up in bed, and I'm covered in blood. But it's not mine. It's not my blood. And I get up, and I see the knife. It's next to me on my nightstand. The knife I used to stab Michael..." Allyson smirked. "The one that Grandma now keeps in the drawer and uses to cut apples..." Allyson closed her eyes as she concentrated on the memories from her nightmare.
    * "The knife is covered in blood. And I call out. I call for Grandma, but she doesn't respond. So, I walk to her room. I push open the door... and there she is. Dead. Stabbed to death on the floor. Her blood is everywhere. And somehow I know that I'm the one who did it."
    * Allyson opened her eyes and looked into Corey's.
    * "But the scary thing is... that's not the nightmare. The nightmare is that I feel nothing. Nothing at all."
    * Allyson considered those words and asked Corey again, "Now do you judge me?"
    * Corey again shook his head. "No. I understand you."
    * Corey wrapped his arms around Allyson and held her tightly.
    * Allyson went through Laurie's office and found a bunch of old birthday cards that were meant for Allyson. Almost all that she went through mention Michael in them and how Allyson needs to be prepared, even though in one case she was only in the second grade. Allyson felt that Laurie was starting to spiral again and she couldn’t handle seeing it again.
    * Something else that was noted in the Halloween: Ends (2022) novelization that Allyson did visit the junkyard is now run by Atilla and Simmons. They did tell Allyson to take Corey’s motorcycle with her as a memory of the good times before Michael’s evil overtook him.
