I am very excited about season 5, I know there is much sadness coming our way, I am trusting "The Chosen" to deliver a superior Holy Week. One that uplifts our Savior and bring glory to God.
Jesus may come get us before it comes to theatre's.
I asked for Dallas to send the storyline ahead, so we can still experience his and all of the writers' imagination

I don’t care if it’s reenactment of the actual happening I can’t watch it. It breaks my heart to think what they did to him. It makes me sick at my stomach to think people would treat someone like that much less the son of God, how cruel, hateful, evil and dark that assault was I can’t believe he suffered so very much for me, it makes me cry just bawling To think he loves me that much and made that sacrifice for my sins so that I can live forever in heaven, I every time I watch a reenactment of that day I don’t care who’s playing the part it just destroys me! And what destroys me the most is his mother… because as a mother who knew what was going to happen to her son and had to allow it to happen… absolutely heartbreaking!!!
Remember the Passion doesn't happen until season 6.
Our king is alive and well. And he’s coming back in power and glory. Yes they tore down the temple, but it was restored in three days.
It’s a very emotional portrayal for sure. I’m with you about what was done to God. It will be hard to see. I’m not sure I can watch it either.

He’s never been away!
As a mother it's terrible to watch your child suffer. As a believer I think it's our obligation to watch it. Our Lord Jesus suffered for us. At least we can acknowledge it once. I dread seeing His suffering also.
I am so excited to see all the cast and crew of "The Chosen" in Orlando on the 20th and 21st. I can't wait to meet them and hear their insights on the upcoming season.

This series IS FANTASTIC, the meticulous detail of each scene, is wonderful, SO looking forward to Season 5 and 6 although there is one aspect which I know will make me CRY for sure. Thank you so much Dallas and your amazing crew. God bless you all!
My wife and I were background extras for one week filming season 5. Don’t know if we will be seen. What an experience, so rewarding.

@@katiezimmer5464 we can say. They were filming several episodes that week. We had to sign NDA’s, and can’t discuss specifics. Episode 2 was one of the scenes.

Now age 72 & being taught from a young age about Jesus and his life, i should not be anxious about future episodes. But it remains so very sad to think of what was done to such a dear blessed man.
And it's even worse than what is usually portrayed
I am awaiting season 5, and watching all the other prrevious seasons and epsoides until then, and getting closer to my bible. though I stuggle a bit, with the reading cause I am a visual learner, so baby steps for me...
It is a journey for every one of us. Just continue reading the Bible, pray without ceasing and listen for His direction. Just keep trusting Him and moving forward

I'm going to cry - Again like most of the episodes. Tears of Joy and overwhelmed with his love for this Wretch of a man. He saved me from my addiction! He saved me from myself. The Holy Spirit is powerful and incredible when you truly believe in him.
Saved me from addiction too! I overdosed and died from fentanyl in 2017 and my ex just so happened to have gotten narcan the day before and saved my life! That was definitely Jesus! I'm almost completely sober and no longer living that disgusting lifestyle! Glad to hear Jesus saved u too!

Are in some type of recovery program? AA helped me grow spiritually and connect stronger and help understand religious beliefs
2 are in harmony now. Addiction is Satans strongest demons that and lust - I pray 🙏🏻 meditate and read scripture 30 minutes every morning when I wake up- I put God first and put on the armor of my savior

For all the talk of Judas' transition into betrayal, I hope we also see the beginning of a new transformation -- that of John from Son of Thunder to Beloved Disciple.
The sadness cannot outweigh the joy that comes knowing that Jesus loves us so much that He went through all of this for us that our sins could be forgiven. He overcame death, hell and the grave that they should have no hold on us. He arose from death and gives us new life that is eternal! The love He has for us is beyond our comprehension. The joy of finally seeing the One who did this for us is beyond our understanding. We will worship Him and praise Him forever!

I am following the word of God and eating all of the things God has provided. Meat is always on the menu, along with bread, potatoes and lots of fresh veggies and fruit.

We are all Judas in many ways. We betray Him almost every day. 💔
But how amazingly God's love is.
He still chooses to love and accept us every single day despite of our shortcomings and our sins.
The reason we are even still breathing is a living proof of His sufficient grace and mercy!

The problem with the set of the Last Supper is that Jesus and the Apostles were recling at dinner, which was the norm for dining, and not sitting at a table as portrayed by the Da Vinchi and other rerprestations of the event. Would make the scene more true to the way things were at that time.

Bit disappointed at the camp portrayal of Pilate compared to the Rod Steiger version. Maybe they’ll do something unexpected.

OK but how can there be spoilers? I don’t know why that struck me as funny. I was literally yelling at the screen when he was on the donkey going into Jerusalem. I was like don’t go don’t go don’t go even though obviously……he has to go….😢😢😢

I'm just one more VERY Excited viewer of THIS retelling of THE GREATEST STORY of ALL TIME !
HOWEVER....I have a question about one of the episodes and am hoping that you might be able to get an answer directly from the maker, Dallas.
The episode was after Jesus had "Raised Lazarus from the dead" or called him to "come out" of his tomb after being dead for FOUR DAYS. THIS miracle was, in MY MIND, Jesus' not only MOST AMAZING, but surely His most REVEALING, as to WHO He REALLY was AND the kind of POWER that ONLY A GOD can possess !
My question is about how Dallas directed the conversation that Pilot and his wife have about this miraculous event.....
I'm not quoting from the film, but in essence Pilot says to one of the other Roman officials at his little "dinner party", "If you don't want people to believe that Jesus did this Miraculous thing, then just MAKE SURE that Lazarus IS DEAD." (ie. have him killed.) Then Pilot's wife says, "Well, if Jesus RESURRECTED Lazarus once, why wouldn't he just RESURRECT him again ?". Was that statement a "Blooper" by the screen play writers that Dallas just allowed to stay in the film !?! Or does Dallas really think that Lazarus WAS in fact "RESURRECTED" ? AND THAT is what he wants to portray to anyone that views this show ? IF that IS the case, I'm quite disappointed in the WAY he is telling this story ! Because, LAZARUS was NOT RESURRECTED. His physical body was brought back to life and his spirit called back into it, but he was NOT made IMMORTAL as everyone of us will EVENTUALLY BE MADE, once each of us is "RESURRECTED". My understanding of the Bible and this INCREDIBLE GIFT from our FATHER in HEAVEN is that IT was brought to the test of us BY JESUS. HE was the FIRST person to ever go through this process of REUNITING the spirit and the body into an immortal physical form ! And once HE had done it, then every other person who has, OR will ever be born on this earth will be allowed to participate in this same blessing !
So can you get Dallas to explain his reasoning behind these lines in his script ??? I am VERY CURIOUS

I hope the interpretation of the Last Supper is addressed in the roundtable discussions. Why would Jesus and His disciples be seated at a table instead of reclining? I believe one of the Gospels even mentions that they were reclining. In the spoiler everyone is seated in chairs and upright. As much as I love this series and everything Dallas has done with it, I'm a little disappointed in this.

Judas did what he was suppose to do.
Paramahansa Yogananda told his disciples that all of Jesus’ disciples also had to be great spiritual masters to be taught by such an übermaster. I am intrigued by the Gnosticism Gospel of Judas which describes Judas agreeing to Jesus’ request that Judas betray him in order to fulfill his destiny. Such a master (Judas) would have no concern for reputation in serving his guide.
Agree that the cruelty bestowed on Jesus is hard to watch. I’m not sure I can watch it either. Unfortunately, The crucification was part of God’s plan for our Salvation

I am atheist, to preface, I don’t believe in the divinity of the Bible, or Jesus, or any other religion for that matter. However the show is very punctual, it demonstrates raw emotion that captivates me. The story is fascinating to no end. Extremely well done.
