What are the cam specs on the fifth Gen Zl1?
We spend a lot of time with R&D for our custom cam's in customers cars so for that reason we don't just give out cam specs. However if you would like to purchase one from us it will come with the cam card in the box.
Does it decrease air flow to close the hood? Is there a post with hood open versus closed?
No it does not matter, plus when the car is actually moving on the track or road it is getting a lot more airflow then a fan can simulate.
I keep reading how on an stock ZL1 an intake won't provide any real gains without a tune or other mods, any truth to this? I have a ZL1 on order so just curious.
You really shouldn't add an intake to a blower car without a tune in the first place. N/A car not as big of a deal, but depending on the intake it will pick up boost on a blower car and will need to be tuned properly.
I have intake, header and tune on my 5th gen. Dyno run is on my channel.
