Gemini is the third sign of the zodiac, and it is a masculine or diurnal sign, mutable, airy, and ruled by the planet Mercury.

This is really fascinating. I think what Nicholas said about Gemini being an introvert who likes to spend time alone with their thoughts (2:07:45) is very insightful and absolutely spot-on. I am a Gemini and I don't always like to be in the company of other people. In fact, I'm naturally inclined to be solitary and I would never feel alone as long as I have access to the books or a big library!!

As Geminis get older, that "mile wide, inch deep" thing becomes mile wide, mile deep. Eventually, all the exploration "sticks" and adds up.
Another great Gemini trick is playing the devil's advocate...taking a contrary position just to see how others react or get a rise out of people
So true. I have a Gemini moon and I often will play devil's advocate to get people to think more deeply about an issue.
44:23 yeah I always thought that the idea of Gemini being "two-faced" wasn't a very accurate description, especially with how that word is used today. It has a very negative connotation, it suggests that the person is malicious and "toxic" as if they purposely deceive people with the aim to hurt them, and I don't see Gemini being cruel in that way. It's just that Gemini as a sign doesn't really have a fixed essence, it's defined by it's changeability and that changeability can manifest itself in many different ways - for example in communication, socialization or in cognition and playing around with different ideas etc. And by no means does that changeability necessarily translate to being a kind of psychopath that intends on deceiving and hurting people. I think it's unfortunate that the word "two-faced" is used so freely in pop astrology about Gemini because that word is very extreme for such a broad archetype like a whole zodiac sign.

as a gemini sun/leo moon combo i’m going to take this opportunity to talk about myself 😌 I really think you hit the nail on the head with describing the poetic aspect of gemini placements mixed with the water influence. I’m an artist and absolutely love expressing myself through creating and quickly pouring my emotions into a piece then finishing. My sun, venus and mars are closely conjunct in gemini in the 10th house and my cancer mercury in the 11th I think plays a huge part in how I create art. One thing I remember hearing from an artist I looked up to was her using the word poetic to describe my art. air really touched me and I think I can thank the cancer mercury/gemini combo for that.

Thank you ! I'd like to tell you about my dream. And, I didn't put on my glasses. I fell asleep at the very beginning of this video. I was sleepy to the bone. I dreamt that I had gotten a brand new job. I knew that I was going to love working with these people. I was Happy beyond measure. I was introduced to four or 5 coworkers. In the dream one female coworker shared the amazing experience she just had while interviewing another female for a different position. Clearly, she was impressed beyond measure with what this interviewee had to offer the business.. Every quality she shared about this interviewee convinced me, without a doubt, that I knew exactly who it was that she had just interviewed. I was anxious, I couldn't wait to tell my new coworkers that my daughter, a Gemini, is that person that she just interviewed. This coworker just raved on and on about how amazing this person was, She went in so long with the compliments that I had time to realize I may be seem as stealing my daughter's thunder or jumping on the band wagon. I too, am a Gemini, but, I'm not as Wonderful, as my daughter. I felt pale in the sun shiny picture, of my daughter, described by my coworker. Everything that she said, is true, in real life. She's amazing, person, mother, wife..., you name it.. Maybe, I thought, ' I'll just keep quiet. I woke up and realized it was all a dream. I, am also a Gemini. When Snowden was mentioned with his Gemini/Sagittarius placements and "purposeful communication" was mentioned... this just clicked stg in me. Im a Sag sun with Gemini ascendant and Scorpio venus and Im writing a book (since 12 years) (I have a positively aspected Saturn as well). You can imagine what kind of book is being written... Loved this as a Gemini rising, sun, NN Mercury Jupiter conjunct. Loved all of the animation and when she said she was trying to control her movement, totally get that. Also regarding timing of disseminating information, yes sometimes can just blurt out info but I find for me I can hold tight if needed especially in negotiations but also for critical situations where I know I need to have more info or I don't have all info to stick the landing or cut to the chase or engineer a sharp ending, if that makes sense. I also have a virgo stellium, uranus, Pluto snd mars conjunct. Maybe that's somewhat of a trickster trait but looking for the best possible outcome. Thank you for this...brilliant!
This helped me so much. I'm fairly new to astrology, but I've spent some time on the planet...if ya know what I mean. From a very young age, I couldn't figure out how I could be one person for this group and another person for that group. I thought it was my fault for not having a firm belief in self. In college I was told I was too silly to go into my chosen profession...which I did anyway, but my feelings were really hurt. My placement is in the 11th house and I wondered why I cycled through friends and could coldly just let them go if boundaries were crossed. I gradually added musical instruments to my repertoire because I would get bored doing the same thing all the time. SO MANY THINGS make sense now! This was a brilliant episode and the cast was engaging. Very cool. Thank you so much! I'll be proud of my shape-shifted self now. 😁

Thanks guys!! I have Mars in Gemini and I can relate to all of this haha. I would add that Gems are good at living in the moment. I live my life without any planning unless I absolutely have to haha. I live very moment to moment because I can change my mind anytime haha. Wow I've learned so much about myself from this. I'm a 10H Gemini Moon as my only Gemini placement. I had no idea that my ease of learning languages comes from my moon! I just assumed it was because I went to school in French immersion.

I enjoyed every minute of this. And I loved the part on breathing and the nervous system. It can be hard for us to achieve, but it helps so much. Obviously, there are hundreds of nerdy things I'd rather do than taking 5 minutes for breathwork, relaxation and/or meditation but it does help. I have a genetic illness very influenced by stress. I need to dedicate part of my time to calming down my Gemini :-) (Taurus moon is good at that ^^ phew!)
I'm a virgo rising. My Gemini sun conjuncts my midheaven and north node, and venus and chiron are in the first decan of gemini as well. Not quite a stellium, though a big placement.
We look young or at least we *trick* people into thinking we're younger than we look because of the way we act and react. My wife is a gemini sun and saturn; people usually think she's 10 or 15 years younger.
I laughed imagining a date between a gemini and a scorpio because that's how I feel most of the time with my 2 malefics in Scorpio. Aside from them, Mercury and the Moon in Taurus also ensure a lot of fixity in my chart. I don't relate so much about the Gemini qualities like extrovert or novelty. Well, I guess a lot of people perceive me as a chatty, outgoing, network-oriented gemini. But I really am a hermit undercover.

Story time…. When I was younger I went to work with my mom who worked with developmentally delayed children at that time. There was this little girl named Charlotte who was 14 and was hearing impaired. Alllllll I wanted to do was be able to talk to her. I was so curious about her and her country she came from. At the age of 5 I taught myself how to sign by reading this gigantic book about ASL. She was impressed when I could finally talk to her and became very close to my heart throughout that year. I adored her. I have always wanted to work with hearing impaired children still till this day. I was a hairstylist/salon owner for 22 years. Now I’m studying astrology for the last 3 years hard with hopes of becoming professional in the future. Most say with my placement in the 9th that I must speak different languages. And I def do just not in the formal way. Through my hands and reading peoples charts 😁Love this episode! Thank you!

I have a Gemini stellium with Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Saturn plus the North Node and Part of Fortune in there as well. I think having my big three in each of the earth signs helps anchor the flightiness and impulsivity that I’m susceptible to sometimes!

I'm a sun and ASC gemmie I would like to add Mercury is the only planet is the that moves closer to all the planets, because of its movements, while being the only planet closest to the Sun. When you look at Mercury orbits being forced to encounter all other planets, can't be done without the gift of finesse.

Mars in gemini! My sister is a gemini sun, Mercury and Jupiter. We’re pretty Mercury dominant (though my mercurial energy comes from Virgo). Geminis are fascinated IMO. Awareness is a great term for gemini as well! Great perspective!
