I’m 19 and I pregnant and it was a accident with no money but I promised my self and my baby we are going to live a great life I’m gonna finish college get a better job and care for my baby the best way possible
I’m 33 and about 3 weeks away from becoming a father to a baby boy. The nerves about looming baby care are starting to peak and I’m devouring every baby video on you tube. This is about the 100th one I’ve watched today. Wish me luck everyone!!😊
1.The sleepless nights won't last forever. 2.Enjoy every moment because they dont stay little for very long. 3. If you need help ask for it. Parenting can be overwhelming and you shouldn't be afraid to ask for a few minutes to catch your breath. 4. You're going to scew up inevitably and that's okay, there is no perfect parent. 5. Take lots of pictures 6. You'll get plenty of advice (solicited as well as unsolicited) people mean well but ultimately you'll have to trust your instincts in knowing what's best for your little one(s). You dont have to agree with all of it, just say thank you and move on. 7. No matter how much you read or think you know you'll always learn something new because every baby is different Best of luck with your little one(s) ! 🐻 Mom of 4 & still learning 💜💙💜💙

I slept when the baby slept. I got more sleep, I was less tired. Sometimes that meant I did laundry at 2 am and I was okay with that because I was well rested because I had slept earlier in the day with my son. I was happy and well rested and so was the baby and my house was clean.
this is what I was wondering. if anything I (normally) do well with day naps when I don't get a full night's rest. I spent my whole like taking care of other people/kids around the clock. but now I'm expecting to be a mother in 4 months.... and was wondering is it really that bad if you don't get to your chores/responsibilities right away?
@@desireejean7275 Let it all go if you have to. It is not forever. I'm a caregiver for an adult but a baby is meant to be enjoyed. Let the laundry go, let the ring stay in the tub.
This sounds like a dream come true, however, my 6 week old is really fussy and hates to be put down, he wants to be held right now, so it’s literally impossible for me to get anything done. When he sleeps I try to do as much as I can do. I’ve tried everything under the sun, like placing him in a rocker or using the carry slings but nothing works. So if anyone else is the same, it’s okay! Right now I’m just enjoying the cuddles and the cries because soon it’ll all be over! ❤️
congrats. just be ready for women to all say you don't do enough and that whatever you do isn't enough. Even if you're doing most of the work AND working full time, you will still be told you're a bad father and most people will assume the woman does 100% of tthe work. Welcome tto fahterhood.
I love that the first point they made was the lighting issue and their sleeping habits. I’ve seen a lot of vlog type families complaining late at night about how their babies won’t sleep well- as they sit in a completely lit room as if it isn’t the middle of the night O__o I dunno. A baby and their sleep can keep a new mother sane. And it’s more simple than some think. My tip is to completely darken the room when your baby is sleeping. I don’t care if your friends or family look at you like you’re crazy for turning your sweet baby room into a dark dungeon every time they sleep- it helps more than you’d think. I’ve had multiple newborns sleeping like freaking champs because of my baby sleep whispering skills. Kinda went on a baby sleeping rant but it’s truly what made the newborn phase with my daughter worth while, everyone sleeping good. Get a little bit of white noise going so you can wake up in the morning without waking them up too, and be sure that the light doesn’t seep into the room until they’re awake! These couple simple steps will change your sleep life with your baby.
This is hundres percent true. I remember first few days of my newborn. He is always awake at night. But once i turned off the light? Its like magic!!! And until now he is 1 and 2mos he sleeps all through the night. Except for the occasional feeding you know.
I'm not a new parent but I'm a sister to a newborn twin baby in out family.. I watched this video to adapt how can I took care of my siblings (to help my mom) and I found lots fact and knowledge regarded in taking care the twins
This was really helpful and informative for me. Currently 26w pregnant and I feel like I have no idea on how to take care of my baby, but I'm learning alot everyday to help prepare me for my precious girl.
I like how this video emphasizes the importance of folding the diaper to avoid infecting the cord, its very important. Like we have to really educate the mothers. Maybe you can add the importance of burping to avoid spitting out or aspirations among babies. Anyhow this is a good video!
Girl when you said do we really have to educate mothers, I truly felt that! It makes me livid that so many people have kids yet don’t have common sense.
@@balenciagalifestyle2361 it’s not common sense. Some people are first time parents with no help so if they’re not taught, they dk. Let’s not shame people for trying to learn.
Thank you for this wonderful information. Motherhood is indeed a tough job but it's the most priceless moment of learning at the same time enjoying and loving the perks of being a MOTHER😊
1st father's day for me, he is almost 6 months old now, all these are good tips... my favorite thing to do is make my baby laugh, whether it be a tickle, a kiss, or saying funny words with or without a funny face...seeing him laugh makes me so happy.
‘Sleep when the baby sleeps’ - god I hate this advice. It’s so idealistic. So no cooking, housework, cleaning etc. I have twins and have never been able to sleep when they sleep - at night yes, but during the day? No. I have a ton of responsibilities. I’ve yet to find a mother who does sleep when the baby sleeps.
I slept when my son slept and still do. I did my chores with my son in a wrap. Sometimes, I have to put mine and my son's well being before my chores and that's okay.
Lovely Tips! I guess another important point to mention is “safe ways to make your baby sleep” By laying them on their back and removing any choking hazards in order to avoid unfortunate cases like SIDS
My man and I are gonna try for babies soon. Gonna do my research starting now lol kids are a big responsibility but such blessings I’m excited! Can’t wait to be a mommy lol
I couldn't master it either, mine just yanked it off. After three days, we gave up on the swaddle lol. He obviously did not like the wrapped up feeling, slept with his arms and legs spread out.

Oh my gosh YES I was the same way! It's hard to sleep when you know no one has eyes on the little one, and you just left the hospital where there were always eyes monitoring them. It's a very difficult adjustment to make for sure
The burrito baby thing is important also for the reason that because the baby’s nervous system isn’t fully developed yet, so they have random “spasms” that can wake them up
When you are mentally and emotionally stable, you have common sense, your an adult, your financially stable, you are willing to sacrifice, you are ready to provide 24/7 nurturing love and care, when you an unlimited amount of patience, you yourself are a good role model, you have a secure safe home, that you are educated, that you know your child ALWAYS comes first and before anything, when you realize that having a child is a life long job even after your child grows up!

This video is amazing!!!!! My aunt has a baby boy who is ten months so only some of the hacks are useful but she is planning to have another baby soon and she really likes these tips.very useful and I would recommend them 😁😁
My first baby (girl) is due in march, I’m scared, nervous, excited all in one as I am only 18 and a first time parent. I love her mother and strive to only show strength but in back of her mind she knows were lost at this step in our journey together.. just not in darkness🙏 never had the best relation with my parents but I want to be an amazing father.
This is very helpful my mom is giving birth in two days I’m trying to learn how to take care of my baby brother lol my birthday is also in two days really cute my mom wants to go back to work and I’m glad to help my mom take care of my brother while she is gone
On verge of falling asleep baby wakes up, so relatable! They know when we are finally able to relax! Lol. Also I dont remember having a meal without my boy wanting a bottle. Even if he just ate, or was asleep! He knows...

I remember when my son was a newborn, I use to be so scared I was going to break him or drop him because he was so little lol🤦🏾♀️🤣 .... On a serious note motherhood can be challenging at times but it’s so rewarding at the end of the day looking into those cute little eyes!! Wouldn’t trade it for anything!
Having a baby is so much fun! No stage last forever and the time flies by! And how much of a joy it is to watch each milestone your little one reaches is an amazing feeling! How can you say it’s not much fun? Make sure you don’t have children please!
Washing baby everyday is really important to keep the skin folds and underarms clean. I wash the head everyday but every 2nd day its just a light soak in oat soap bath.
When you said to refrain from kissing their cheeks I was expecting you to explain that newborns are immunocompromised and therefore kissing their face in the first months can be potentially harmful. That kissing can trigger feeding reflex is more obvious.
I've known how to swaddle a baby since I had my first doll. My boyfriend doesn't want kids and I'm all right with that. Nothing lasts forever. I think anywhere between 20-45 is fine
I love the “sleep when the baby sleeps” HAHA. Yeah. I have things I need to do around the house. Do laundry when the baby does laundry! Wash dishes when the baby washes dishes! It’s just that easy!
im due in july and i felt the exact same way. I’d have everything in my cart ready to buy😂 but tbh i feel like having those months to think and do research on what you think is best for your baby personally is better because i made allot of purchases that i ended up changing my mind on

Yeah shaking the bottle will have you regretting that decision.
TIP: SWIRL THE BOTTLE
this way it doesnt create bubbles and will also mix correctly.

Cause Deep inside you actually want it! I was like that too. Now I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I love my baby to death!
marta M Not necessarily. There is something called curiosity or interest. Not every woman desires to bear children.
My wife is 3months pregnant.. excited 😊
On verge of falling asleep baby wakes up, so relatable! They know when we are finally able to relax! Lol. Also I dont remember having a meal without my boy wanting a bottle. Even if he just ate, or was asleep! He knows...
I'm having my first baby in August helpful tips.
I learned my baby skills by watching Rugrats...
:D
@SECONDCITYENT
Ha!! Ha!!
Haha nice! Who's your favorite baby?
@@BRIGHTSIDEOFFICIAL favorite babies were the twins, especially when they argue, they annoyingly call the other by their full name.
😂

Automatic?
@@BRIGHTSIDEOFFICIAL yeah😧
tan j maz maybe because you can’t afford one😂🤭
I remember when my son was a newborn, I use to be so scared I was going to break him or drop him because he was so little lol🤦🏾♀️🤣 ....
On a serious note motherhood can be challenging at times but it’s so rewarding at the end of the day looking into those cute little eyes!! Wouldn’t trade it for anything!
Now all I need is a newborn 😊
I’m definitely not a parent yet but I’ll be saving this for when I have my own in the next 5-10 years from now 🙏🏽🤍
I was not blessed with a baby so I am going to adopt one thats why watching this video.Wish us best of luck please
I might be a father soon so this is perfect timing 😰🙏
Congratulations! Are you happy?
tan j maz congrats and good luck!
Having a baby is so much fun! No stage last forever and the time flies by! And how much of a joy it is to watch each milestone your little one reaches is an amazing feeling! How can you say it’s not much fun? Make sure you don’t have children please!
Having a baby is NOT fun- it’s allot of hard work, long sleepless nights. It’s a thankless job.
Washing baby everyday is really important to keep the skin folds and underarms clean. I wash the head everyday but every 2nd day its just a light soak in oat soap bath.
Don't tell me you didn't notice how charmingbthe baby is
My baby is almost 1 now but am still here watching 😊
When you said to refrain from kissing their cheeks I was expecting you to explain that newborns are immunocompromised and therefore kissing their face in the first months can be potentially harmful. That kissing can trigger feeding reflex is more obvious.
cant wait ti hold my bundle of joy ❤
I've known how to swaddle a baby since I had my first doll. My boyfriend doesn't want kids and I'm all right with that. Nothing lasts forever. I think anywhere between 20-45 is fine
That is the voice of 1 2 3 go!
I love the “sleep when the baby sleeps” HAHA. Yeah. I have things I need to do around the house. Do laundry when the baby does laundry! Wash dishes when the baby washes dishes! It’s just that easy!
Katie Kat cook 😢
Ditch your normal routine And get chores done when you can. Be that at 2 in the morning or 2 in the afternoon. Do less
Thanks very nice & informative vedio my baby is 2 months old ur vedio give me guidance
Not giving birth until September but literally have the need to buy everything and learn everything😂
Same I’m also due in September
im due in july and i felt the exact same way. I’d have everything in my cart ready to buy😂 but tbh i feel like having those months to think and do research on what you think is best for your baby personally is better because i made allot of purchases that i ended up changing my mind on
Same! I’m due in September too
I’m due next month
me too, I'm so nervous and excited 😁
