I wish more people emphasized how important it is to unwind before going to bed even if it’s just for 15-20 minutes. It can improve your sleep so much!
3:24 instead of using your nails, you can use a teaspoon to easily pry the single/double shot basket out of the coffee handle! it's saved me from having any kind of nail-related disasters myself :)
I was supposed to graduate this summer but sadly didn’t get to; it’s kinda lonely and sad seeing all of my friends graduate before me. I resonate with you, This year was supposed to be my high school graduation but, I fell behind during 2019. My close friend graduated and I felt really ashamed I couldn't also experience it with her. I hope your studies go well in the upcoming year, you can do this!
Me too girl, I went back for the first time today after all my friends left and I was silently crying in the library bc I was so overwhelmed, I feel so proud of myself for sticking with it though and as much as it’s not the ideal path, it’s the path I’m on. We are both going to absolutely smash it and I’m proud of you for going back and trying again ❤

I hope school is going well! Just a heads up that some essential oils are toxic to cats so it could be worth looking into if you are diffusing them :)
yes, I was just about to comment this!!! though there are ones that are specifically toxic to cats, essential oils in general are usually very harmful to them because of their delicate lungs!! eucalyptus oil, which was mentioned in the video, is one of the many toxic essential oils to cats. These essential oils aren't just dangerous if ingested but also when simply breathed in by them.
I really don't mean to scare anyone of course, just please be sure to look into each and every type of essential oil you use!
I just looked up ones okay with cats and some sites recommend rosemary, copaiba, helichrysum, oregano, frankincense, and cedarwood essential oils. It also says chamomile, lavender, thyme, and valerian can be tolerable. Though be sure to keep cats in a fairly well-ventilated area or have the diffuser in a fairly large room to be safe! It's also a very good idea to diffuse the essential oils at very low concentrations.
(anyone using this information please be sure to also research the specifics of essential oils yourself as well to double then triple check to make sure you use ones that are safe for your pets. I only did a very quick google search)

The path going to get coffee is so familiar and so nostalgic considering I've been watching you YT videos since your Starfruit Press creation video. I switched majors from Nursing to Computer Science (software engineering) and so I was going to graduate in 24 but now I am graduating in 25. Which is okay, but I love watching your college diaries videos because it really is a good white noise to listen to in the background whilst grinding my major.
I hope you fulfilled your gap year to your heart's content, but it looks to me that you definitely enjoyed taking that break and it was well deserved. Cheers to a good school year!

I'm debating doing a little gap semester to do some work/travel/art after I finish up my nursing degree (wow, by next year's end?! Time is wild) and before I finish up my bachelors the semster after. I'm so excited but so scared. I guess that's what makes the future so interesting anyway haha

I definitely feel your concerns about getting back into traditional school. I studied in Vietnam last semester and it was mostly travel + experiential learning, which was absolutely life-changing, but I feel so unprepared to get back into a routine for my final year at college ;-;

all i really wanna say is take it easy, linh. there's really going to be some adjustments esp assimilating back into that lifestyle again but just remember to pause and breathe. you got this. you deserve breaks & to also be fearful but i know you'll be okay 💜💜💜💜
