I personally believe that the Vic’s Point Blank’s gun models matches well with the Vanilla textures. The appearance of TACZ guns are similar but more detailed and realistic. I have played VPB myself on single player and it’s a really cool mod. I am impressed that they spent their time by adding other features like the fiery explosions to missile launchers that locks onto your targets and seeks them out.
fun fact(?): VPB guns can't shoot cats, if you eager to shoot at them, they will took no damage and you'll get a Slowness IV and Wither for a second so literally... both is good, TACZ will work for the feline population control. they have their own unique styles but they could go along with each other if you guys didn't feel like having a difference in animations will make either one of them better or worse. in the end of the day, we use the guns we enjoy using it anyways.
I have a visual bug when using most high zoom scopes in VPB with Distant Horizons - it basically makes the scopes unusable and the visual bug persists even after scoping out only fixed by reloading the world. Version 1.21 Plus Vic doesn't have a bug section in their GitHub :/

I find it hilarious that Vic refuses to add headshot hitboxes and thats the one big thing that makes TacZ more enjoyable to more people, especially when you are doing gun fights, its nice to be rewarded with a satisfying headshot instead of just mindless lasering

Damage wise, tacz is better because of the multipliers to headshots and armor piercing Although, pb's guns are cheaper to produce using gunmetal ingots
Btw, tacz has coriolis force or the parabola trajectory thingy and the guns have infinite range. I once shot a target 200m away with a tricked out glock. Dunno about vpb though.

I'm having a bit of an issue with Vic's Point Blank Mod, for some reason when I aim down sights, the animation for doing so does not seem to work and causes them to move to the bottom middle of my screen.
How about 3rd person animation? does Vpb already updated 3tp animation? I think Tacz still somehow better because it will feel much immersive if you other player has shooting anim especially in multiplayer pvp scenario.
Install a gunpack bro, there's a lot of gunpack addon for tacz in curseforge. my recommendation is "The Division", "classics reborn", and "Amethy's Battlefield"...it has good animation like its from the official gun mod

the reason viks is far superiror is its actually custom shit from sounds to animations..while all tacz has done is make the models then stolen the animation and sounds..
i dont get why you people always say "oh the animations are ported and stolen from this game!" when they're not just because a gun's animation has that "tactical mag retention reload" with the old and new mag in one hand, does not mean it is lifted or ported from a recent COD or even BF game besides, they'd have to edit the arms and animations since porting it from MW19 means theres the upper arm, the forearm, wrist and fingers that are animated, and the minecraft hand would probably follow the wrong one and look odd, so itd probably be easier and better to reanimate them from scratch (which is what they did)

So, why not just start over with new code and a new mod that can grow up with newer versions? Which is exactly what he's done. mw 3.0 is still in active development by a new team and point blank is in development for current minecraft. I'm not seeing the problem with this.
