I walked a lot in these streets in Sep-Oct, 1978. My cousin lived in Theologou St. by that time. I LOVE GREECE but never return, yeah this video gives me a lot of memories and nostalgic feelings, Thanks, Saludos from Puerto Rico.

I think this neighborhood with Nea Smyrni are the best places for to walk away of the center, morever they have better urbanism than others
Nea smyrni is a really nice municipality but kallithea (next to nea smyrni) have way better urbanism, it might seem kinda lower class than nea smyrni but the urbanism is better by far because of a single reason, the whole neighborhood is like a big square, all roads lead to each other and its almost impossible to get lost, you can take thiseos avenue from the posidonos avenue (next to the sea) and end up in koukaki (near the center of athens), also kallithea has by far more choices of public transport, more busses/trolley and a stop in the first (green) metro line. I really like both municipalities, spend 20 years of my life living in kallithea (had to move out before 3 months and I already miss it) and I was visiting nea smyrni really frequently, walking with my friends, shopping etc. I have no clue about zografou unfortunately but I moved out in the northern suburbs recently and I can say they might look cooler or more "higher class" but their urbanism is way subordinate and kallithea and nea smyrni are by far better places to go for shopping, more affordable and shops are all together in the neighborhood rather to have to drive to get to like in nothern suburbs.
