  • Hey folks! Let's make apple cider with an antique apple cider press! I found this old press at an antique store and it needs some work! But first, I'm going to use it and figure out how it works! Thankfully, I have a few apple trees on my property!

That's awesome! I've been on an antique farm equipment kick since I went to a farm museum a few weeks ago - I just find it so fascinating! Thanks for the nice video!

Got to love that fresh apple cider! My brother and his wife did 30 gallons of it last year and then we all made hard ciders. It was super fun to try the flavors for the holidays.

Cool! I only got 2 gallons! Then I made some apple cider vinegar with the leftover pomace. I have neighbors w more apple trees, might use them next year. This year so busy working on my A frame cabin and selling honey at farmers markets. In a few weeks I have a big festival I’m selling at!

Very cool to see, glad to see you are using the apples from your homestead. If we can find the material in time, we are hoping to be pressing apples soon as well! Best, David and Rachel from CFS!

Thanks! Yes I think I made my apples to big, even when they went though the apple press grinder. Next year I will try it out!

@@WhistleThicket it's easier than the old apple chopper we just cut or apples in 1/2 most of the time depends on the size of the apples.
