This guy is amazing. Not only for being such a good singer, but his mimicry is just incredible. He perfectly captures the tone and timbre of whoever he's trying to sound like, be it Joey Tempest, Jon Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams or the guys from Air Supply.
Arnel is a great singer!! He has paid his dues compared to most musicians. He overcame living on the streets in Manila, losing both parents, and raising his younger brothers on his own. He is truly the epitome of the American Dream. And he deserves the respect of all where he is now in life due to all of his hard work as a professional singer. He even presides over a charity group in Manila for helping children get off of the streets. I have the utmost respect for Arnel and the kind man he is to society. I have never heard him criticize or say any harsh words about anybody in any interviews. He is a great singer and a really good man. I wish we had more men in this world like Arnel!! Arnel, I am glad you have a successful life now. You have surely worked hard for it and deserve it!!

I have to say this guy is fantastic He is wonderful by Steve Perry would say at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this guy sings his heart out every single night it couldn't happen to a much better wonderful person such as him he truly deserves it and he deserves to be in Journey at first I had my doubts about him but after hearing this song called Never Walk Away and the second Journey CD that they have put out with him on it it took me awhile to get used to his accent but he's Filipino what can you do about it but you know why Embrace him and say God bless because he can have too much wonderful person to have joined Journey and thank God for Neal Schon finding him to continue on that Legacy and give joining the rebirth that it deserves and that's all I'm going to say about it but awesome singing from him thanks
