Sir, in load characteristics of DC machine, you have drawn a graph for field current which is needed to compensate demagnetization, but the armature also has cross magnetization effect, so we can consider less field current required due to cross magnetization, but we have only considered demagnetization effect in the graph. please explain the effect of cross magnetization on load characteristics.
sir in case of series generator the emf almost starts from zero in case of internal and external but why the initiation of emf in shunt generator is diffreent than that of series generator
