Loved this. Took me back to my childhood when my parents use to take us to visit family in Mexico when winter break started. The small town where my dad was from looked so much like your area. Very dry and hot, desert like. Over there wealth was also measured by the amount of goats, cows, horses, pigs and chickens you had. Cooking was also done over an open fire and we had to collect water to wash and bathe. I remember my dad telling us they also used some sort of stick to brush their teeth. We always had a great time there when we went and never wanted to come back. My grandparents and also my dad have passed away now and, with the introduction of electricity and other modern technology the family is not as close as they use to be. Everyone would always gather before and just talk, sing, cook, play games, etc. Slowly though we kept hearing, 'oh, i cannot go over I'm watching tv or a movie or driving to the next town' 😢My mom, sister's, and I still try to go when possible but it's not as easy with work and it's just not the same with my grandparents and dad gone. Anyways, I'm ranting. I just want to say again, I enjoyed this very much.
Thank you for sharing your morning routine. I love how there are some major differences from my morning routine in the United States but also many similarities. It's nice to remember that we all live differently, but are still all one.
Of course there are some same morning routines all over the world. The most of the people eat breakfast. But it's completely different to live in Africa than in America or here in Europe. People in Africa don't have the same possibilities or resources than us. They don't live modestly by choice. Their lives are hard. Herding cattle is very hard. Not having oven or vacuum cleaner is hard. So, it's not fair to say that there are many similarities. The only similarities are drinking tea or coffee and brushing teeth. Even though a person would be a farmer here in West, his life isn't anything like in Africa. People in Africa have to have cattle so they would have food to eat. They can't go to grocery store everyday and go to fridge whenever they want to.
I have slept outside many times because its cooler. Especially after we've had hurricanes 🌀 and no electricity. I live off the Gulf of Mexico. We have 2 goats, 1 donkey and several other animals. I had horses but we sold them. Love and blessings to you and family ❤
Thank my for speaking English I so enjoyed your video, I wish I could visit one day IM from AMERICA USA, we are spoiled and selfish , we have plenty and waste alot of foods, pray for me that I am humble like you,
I so agree. I would love to go. My spiritual mother is having a school built in Malawi, she just made a visit there in March 2024.. I'm Sharon from USA.. I LOVE THESE VIDEOS!
These people live off the land but in America it's called living off the grid These beautiful people build their homes out of mud huts bamboo leaves huts etc but in America you are considered homeless if you live in a tent or a car we need to start thinking on a global scale not a local one the world is bigger than AMERICA
Hello everyone I’m from Chicago born raised ,now I live in Florida ,boy I thought Florida had a Big Sun Wow there too, love his Jewlery ,thanks for sharing,I love watching how others live it FASCINATES ME😊❤
I have not long gone back to stewing black tea leaves like I did as a child, until the tea companies in Australia bought in bags. They changed the taste and I won't be going back to bags again
I believe your people are living in the best place on earth, all natural beauty with lovely animals and beautiful involvement there are no places on earth that could be better.
I grew up like this , but in Mexico and I was the happiest kid in the world , migrated to USA now I live way better and I can have what I want but im not happy anymore. I don't know why
When s*** hits the fan, they will survive. Not the people who depend on societies social construct. What a trip. God Bless and Best wishes for everything good for you and your people.
I live offgrid South Carolina 7 years. I make my tea same way every morning. And strain then put in thermos same way. it still steaming hot next morning so I only make morning fire every second day. Thank you for this video ❤

Do things try to eat the goats at night? If so what? Or is it just so they won’t wander off? I’m a carpenter and know nothing of taking care of livestock. Thank you for sharing and you have a beautiful family ❤
Omg, the strength of those women carrying water. I should be ashamed of how I can barely carry the 42 pack of nestle pure water I purchase at Sam's Club from my SUV and up nine flight of stairs to my apartment.
Thank you Kimberly for sharing how you and your family lifestyle, it is interesting to me. I have never seen such a big sun before it is HUGE. What is the name of the tree that you use to clean your teeth with? Your english is very good. Your Lady makes a very nice weave ( in my language whaariki, pronounce fardeekee, like a mat). What is the name of the plant that she uses to make it, and what do you use it for. Please do some more videos i really enjoy it. I did not see a power pole, how do you charge your phone? Bless you Kimberly and your people. from a Rainforest in New Zealand.
The “toothbrush” or miswak is taken from a species of tree known as Salvadora Persica, it’s also known as the arak or toothbrush tree. It’s a small evergreen that’s native to Africa the Middle East & india
