+The Anomaly "Half-time DNB Wonky Hip-hop" It's the iconic Ivy Lab and even more so Stray sound. Noisia just adds some neuro aesthetic to it. Bass music tends more towards the ukg or dub side of the music world.

This sounds like another one of those tracks that you can't really fully experience until you hear it live. Reminds me of a lot of Alix Perez & Eprom's collab stuff, pretty much the exact same situation with a similar result there.

Ivy Labs new stuff is beautiful! So experimental! 20/20 was one of last years best releases! Nice to see someone outside the trap community being experimental. All EDM; dubstep, dnb, house, trap etc are getting tired and seem to just tick the boxes. Guys like Ivy Lab, Tsuruda, Midnight Tyrannosaurus, Isqa, Dabow, Montell2099, Sam Gellaitry etc among many others are the best of the industry, unique and constantly changing the way we look at music, Tsuruda and Isqa in particular!
Love the style, hope to see more like this!

+Bullet Bill Are you fucking kidding me? DnB is full of forward-thinking, innovative producers. Mefjus, Phace, Billain and Emperor are just a few examples. Noisia are also constantly pushing boundaries, they pretty much set the standard.

Felipe Varela DnB is full of great producers, but there's still a lot of shit. Thankfully, unlike most genres the innovative stuff generally is the most popular compared to Dubstep and Trap where safe and generic can get you millions of views. Dubstep (and it's associated genres and subgenres) is drying up with artists like Barely Alive and Dr. Ozi still keeping it fresh while EH!DE, Spag Heddy and countless others keep the generic coming. And Trap has hardly any good well known producers, the best trap is all underground.
The popularity of experimental tracks range from genre to genre with DnB being the most open category and House and Dubstep being 95%+ generic. But at the end of the day most genres are made up of generic tracks, even DnB.

It's experimental and outstanding, I prefer it to regular dnb but I'm a sucker for clever sound design and non-commercial EDM
Their 20/20 half time stuff is great in my opinion, but if you don't like it, they still do DnB! They just released a DnB remix of an Icarus tune the other day and they also have a collaborative EP with Alix Perez on Critical soon, so it's all good.
