Just found your videos after three years ! Straight to the point ! Awesome job
Almost 200k...congrats 🤙🏼🙌🏼
Wow! These are awesome AND cheap!! I'm going to see if I can use these for green/blue screen lighting. BTW...love the raft of new videos! Thanks!
Wow, nice find, Dave!
thanks for the good review in 4k - appreciate it
This light looks awesome. Seem like a great value... And they are actually shipping, unlike a brand I backed...
Nice! I also own one and you can use them everywhere. Coupled with a godox 60w as Key light it makes the perfect Interview scenario.
Thank you Dave
$120... what a deal! Good work Dave
I preffer the first version which comes with a slot for Sony batteries and it is more edged design so I can leave it on flat surfaces easier. And there is a new version with it dirty cheap and it lacks the RGB options but it is the same as 3200K-5600K light.
The CRI is awesome especially for the price. I like it more than the more expensive ice light. And it is more powerful too.
I love this light, but I do also like their 608 which is a ring light, but I don’t use it like that. I use it as a large source light with double the brightness in RGB mode and regular light output.
I did a video talking about the first version of this, I need to get the version 2
Have you seen the Luxli RGB lights. I recently got some for work. Pretty nice so far. Probably not as bright as the wand since they are smaller. But I like them.
I have the V1 of this and the app was virtually unusable (on Android) but it looks like this one is a lot better.
I have three of these! Love them, easy to store and travel with too!
Do you have them all set up within the app? I just got 3 as well and am trying to get them all to work with the app but to no avail. I can do one just fine but thats it..
@@Heretobrowse Seems to only work with one at a time, I just filmed a review on them too. I'll post the video tomorrow.
@@MaxwellRidgeway Thanks for the reply!
Cool
I like it and the price is right.
Hey Dave, you should look into the GVM QX-RGB-150S. Rgb and Bowens mount. I can't find any reviews on them but for $469 on Amazon they do seem interesting.
Hmmm, that one looks interesting.
Looks like a really useful light for the money. Thanks for pointing it out and demonstrating. Just one question... can you run it while it's plugged into the mains? Cheers, Paul
Yes it works with the power connected.
@@DaveDugdaleColorado Thank you... that's great value for something so versatile... love your channel too!
Thanks, I really enjoy your videos.
Did you get another monitors other than Kef's?
Thanks, Dave! Excellent, as always.
My question is only marginally related; how did you grid your Flapjack? I have a (Fotodiox) competitor's version of that light and can't modify it without putting a stand in front of it or awkwardly clipping to the light's housing. I just looked at B&H for the Flapjack, and they don't have any modifiers (except for gels and diffusion, of course) listed. I even looked through all 11 pages of light modifiers on the Fotodiox page and didn't see anything.
Any suggestions?
I did a video on this a while back. www.learningvideo.com/5-different-lighting/
Could you use 2 of these to light a green screen for streaming?
The RGB light is not that powerful but if you use higher ISO - no problem to use it for that too.
Hi man, can you please tell me, if it is possible to program different modes/effects (fire effect, police car, tv effect) with this lamp? I have found the app on the app store (the app is called YONGNUO) where is possible to program different modes but I am not 100% sure if this app is working with these lamps. Thanks for your answer.
I already sent the light back, but I am pretty sure you can not.
MISS YOU, MAN! (But UA-cam sucks. You're right to stay away.)
Two 40 watt florescent bulbs equals 4050 Lux
Hey Dave - what PP do you use on your a7Riii?
Standard and slog2 when I am in a high contrast situation.
@@DaveDugdaleColorado Thanks Dave! Colors on your videos look soo good! Regards! :)
did you test the CRI at 3200 and 5500 ?
I didn't but if you look at their specs, it is pretty high.
The CRI doesn't look great.
Supposedly 95
It seems a bit weak- the colors aren’t as rich (saturated) as I’d like them to be. Ok for accents I suppose.
