For folks reading this, reached out to Sandro regarding removal of wheel weight adhesives. He recommended a heat gun to loosen/remove the foam with a non-marring tool, and TarX to remove the adhesive. Got both, used as he recommended (and per label instructions), and it couldn't have been a smoother process. Thanks, Sandro!
The small businesses in detailing appreciate you mate 🫡🫡🫡
CarPro Lift IS HANDS DOWN the best touchless pre-wash. Intense cleaning, particularly on bugs guts & bird bombs, and the longest dwell time & thickest suds!! It also drags dirt down rather than just clinging & drying. Plus it smells like lucky charms🤗🤗. Awesome video Sandro been waiting for one like this for a long time!!
Have you ever tried Bilt-Hamber Touchless or Auto-foam? Not trying to start an argument here but the price of Lyft for that size bottle is ridiculous, atleast here in the States. For a little more that the price of 2 bottles of Lyft, shown here, you can get a gallon of either Bilt-Hamber products, it's just a great value and melts away salt/muck/dirt without an issue!
Bilt-Hamber products are incredible!
@@klasseact6663 I usually buy Bilt Hamber autofoam by the 5 liter! It’s my go to for mobile detailing. I do prefer BH touchless but it’s too expensive to justify doing as a business. I’d say all of CarPro’s pricing is pretty vampiric. The only thing I use from them is Tar remover, because I only use it on 1/100 cars I do lol
@@Ichabod_Jericho I agree here in the states Bilt hanger pricing is just far too expensive but I generally keep 5 gallons for me and my buddies lol
It’s not
@@kaleidoscope8914 are you getting it from The Clean Garage?
Hello my friend and thank you for running this channel. I've been following you for a few years, you've taught me a lot about car care and preparation. In addition, I have to tell you that I really appreciate your calm manner, you bring all the details across so calmly and understandably, thank you for that. I myself only do vehicle preparation semi-professionally, for friends and acquaintances. But I love the sight of a perfectly shiny car and its interior. Thanks to you I have learned a lot about the individual products, thank you my friend. I think your channel deserves a lot more attention, because you learn a lot about the perfect vehicle preparation. Greetings from all my heart from Germany.
Thanks for the comment and feedback, it’s really to hear that and very much appreciate!
Wooo!! I was one of the people who highly requested this video !! Thank you Sandro !! Not to be indiscreet but I’ll be waiting for a part two with polishes, cloths, ceramic coats and the latter restorative products. You’re my inspiration mate, can’t thank you enough.
NV purge is amazing. THanks for putting this together
My pleasure mate.
Anything that Nova produces is good stuff
Good to see you back mate.
Definitely some great products there, over the years Nv snow + has probably become one my favourite products in my arsenal, just seems to clean so well, and used at a 1:10 dilution as a pre spray prior to contact washing, really supercharges it’s cleaning ability and continues to surprise me with its ability to strip back the surface without requiring further use of harsher apcs and/or traffic film removers.
Well done once again mate 👌
CarPro Eraser does smell magnificent. Like a high end cologne lol
Excellent video once again! I really enjoy these ones
Car pro for me is number 1 and Sandra what a cracking video been asking many creators for something like this to have this from the most meticulous detailer In the world coffee sofa kick back :)
A very well made, and thoughtful video. This will help people save time and money finding products they can trust. Cheers Sandro, and have a great week my friend.
Sandro, many thanks for posting this update on the techniques and products you've incorporated into your detail routine over the years! From reading some of the comments, it looks like I'm not the only individual who's requested a revisit to your workflow. Keep up the great work!
excellent products and soothing explanation makes me to watch your videos often , you are my inspiration in purchasing carpro dabdab you are at par than other detailers ,i mean in selecting products,by the way i'm not a detailer ,but like to keep my vehicle clean and detailed
An excellent selection of detailing products!
Thanks mate, appreciate it!
Still the best detailing Chanel in UA-cam like always great information thank you for your great videos
So happy to see a video of yours pop up again after a while! Welcome back mate!
Fantastic video Sandro I will keep this one for further reference Cheers.
Love your work Sandro
Superb video again. I need more wheel cleaner and was going to get Gyeon's version but you reminded me how good Purge is. Avid watcher of your videos, I love the in depth explanations of everything as there is a lot of information that most people would take for granted, or simply not notice
From a fell detailer (start up) in Aus, keep up the great work!
Good morming mate from freezing Sydney....so great to see you back on again and hope your Family, yourself and the business is going a syou want.
God Bless mate and be always well
Thank you mate greatly appreciate it.
What a great video with a list of products we can find locally! Thanks indeed Sandro, very detailed descriptions, pros and cons, etc. I have wrote it before and I will continue to write it - younare saving our time and money by doing these videos. Another thing is the video itself - I found myself relaxing by your voice, quality music and absorbing the info smoothly. Appreciate your work and have enjoyed this video very much. Was thinking about several products and now I know I will have them) Cheers from very hot Sweden. Yes, over 32 Celsius over two weeks)
I’m really glad you enjoyed and found it helpful my friend - hope you and your family enjoy the sunny Swedish weather!
Awesome video Sandro...great minds think alike. You love pretty much love same as what i love. Keep up the awesome work. Duarte
Miss watching your videos bro. Definitely always a informal dedicated thought out video. This makes me wanna do a video on my products and set up but I don't want to copy your style
Sandro, great video and its easy to see why you like CarPro priducts, they truely are one of the very best full-line detailing companies in the world📣
UK 3.0 and Reset. That's all I need (other DA/pads/polish every 1-2 years), but I'm just a hobbyist.
Hi Sandro just what I wanted to see thank you for this fantastic informative video mate. Really appreciated Jeremy Downunder
Awesome 👏👌👍
My wheel cleaners are TW Wheel/Tire prep and Brake Buster and in the bucket Simple Green
Thank you so much for the incredible videos that you are producing you are from my top five detailers in the world and UA-cam. There’s a new foam cannon MJJC 2.0 and a new one by the same company it’s in a clear bottle please try these two foam cannons against your favourite now and make a video to let us know which one you like. And again I can’t begin to thank you enough for the videos you are making.
Love to see what The Top Detailers Use!!
Awesome video and much thanks. NV snow (+) is on my list to try. I really enjoy using lift and descale. Not sure if it’s really expensive but Koch chemie gentle snow foam is beyond fantastic
Great video Sandro. I almost exclusively use CarPro products now as I've just found that they're the best, or equal best in basically every category of products I need.
Reasonable price, easy to buy, good labelling (clear), product works well. It's a winning formula.
Reasonable price? Lol
Thank you 👍😁
I would suggest to anyone cleaning their car frequently to buy a wheel cleaner and a strong apc that is concentrated, can be diluted and offered in gallon. A bottle ready to use is often just to expensive, will need to restock basically every month or two.
And don't get a 2 in 1 wheel cleaner/iron decontamination. Get a concentrated wheel cleaner that you like, and iron X. Only use iron X when needed.
From what I’ve learned in detailing the word “best” is really subjective. For example some people love CarPro Lift but other love Bilt Hamber Touchless more. It’s all down to personal preference
I haven’t used bilt hammer but I don’t like how much you have to use
@@jdmkidk24 you have to work out your PIR and you can adjust from 1%-4% depending how dirty it is. During the summer where it’s just light dirt 1-2% is enough and I don’t use up the full 1 litre solution in my foam bottle, I mix it in with 500 ml which is still more than enough to cover the full car.
CarPro seems to be the best brand 😊
Australia is coming out with some world-class detailing products. I love to get a set of those economax buckets I wonder if there is a distributor in the United States as far as carpro water spot remover didn’t do anything for me I had to use a acid base degreaser very informative video. I enjoyed watching it. Keep up the good work from down under.
Awesome video, Sandro. I've learned alot from you over the years.
I would be interested to see your opinion on the Mirch range of gear if you ever get the chance.
I just bought Carpro Darkside :)
I use Bilt Hamber Autofoam + Surfex HD for wheels and tires
thanks Sandro
It seems like the NV and CarPro lines of products knock it out of the park on a regular basis, just based off of casual research. I’m trying to find a product line to use for my new detailing business, and CarPro has really stood out to me.
Maestro Sandro!!!... Greetings from Monterrey México. 🇲🇽
Greetings my friend
Great content, I live in Oz so seeing this from a local is fantastic... I'll even forget you live in Victoria
Thanks!
Thanks so much for the support, that’s really generous and appreciated!
Would love to see you check out some of the DIY Details products if you are able to get them. I think it would be great to hear your opinion on them.
I second this, I know there are so many new products all the time and it's impossible to try them all, but really interested in your thoughts on the DIY Detail stuff. So wish NV was available in the States.
Thank you Sandro. A little surprised you recommend the MTM foam cannon in 2023. Our local dealer usually has to throw in a free 16oz bottle of soap to move them.
Seems like they're the only company on the market that hasn't figured out the wide mouth bottle yet, and I constantly had to adjust the fan nozzle because it came loose so easily.
Yes I agree a wider, easier to pour in bottle would be nice. But I tested it against quite a few other lances and the MTM always had the best cling and longest foaming dwell time - that’s really what impressed me about it.
The best thing about the MTM is the repair-ability! Very simple and easy to work through if it clogs a little. The steel casing & nuts & springs inside are high quality and last a long time while also being very easily & cheaply replaced with goods from your local hardware store.
Great video as always. Sorry for my late comment but as u know sometimes life gets in the way. It's funny how our views change as our knowledge and skill level improve. I am limited in what I can buy as we use TFR yes we are stuck in the past. I did manage to talk the CEO in to using carpro reset as most of the managing directors car are coated it's great the lube is fantastic and smells great i found the TFR was brutal on paint and can make plastics and some peanio black trims I cant agree more with you Sandro knowledge is you friend We can only make it as safe as we can with the products we have at hand or what the work provide Keep the great videos coming in Sandro we Trust
Thanks Bob and we all have constraints, but it’s what we do with what we have to work with that’s the real achievement and I know you’re extremely dedicated and driven there mate.
Try detail king citrus cleaner 1:1 in a pump sprayer for bad tires! It’s the best thing I’ve found and I’ve used all the ones you just showed
Cool video sandro... I find Bilt Hamber auto foam works good
It’s interesting that carpro and NV are not available at brick and mortar stores in Australia ( correct me if I’m wrong Melbourne )
It really sucks that NV isn't available in Germany/Europe. I would buy their stuff in a heartbeat.

Hello! I love your videos, they've helped me immensely! Can you do a video on the best wash mitts and towels you use? Also do you have an up to date video on all interior detailing products like this video?
That’s great to hear and I’ll hopefully have a video on my favourite interior products coming up soon.

Hello Sandro,
Great video and review of products. I don't know if you can get Bilt Hamber products in Oz? I am based in Britain and their products are cost effective and brilliant. Their snow foam apc, shampoo and falll-out remover are fantastic. Their anti-corrotion products are impressive, too.👍
Thanks and some of the Bilt Hamber range has become available here and from what I’ve heard it sounds like a great brand, though not quite as cheap here as in the U.K.
I had Trix on the shelf and not quite sure where to use it. I added a few sprays to my weekly wash of my wheels (I usually use wheely clean) and WOW. It gets so much off!!
Great to hear that, it is such an effective wheel cleaner!
Great video! How about interior next?
I’ve amassed so many products over years, multiples of same use product that I’ve tried once or twice and stuck at back of shelf. Moving into a new house I decided to do a hard reset. Thrown it all out and just sticking with one brand for their full product line up - our locally made envoke car care. Also looks nice on garage shelf having all matched product and they’re all nicely scented great products
But then it looks like you are sponsored 🙈
Understandable! Just remember they can mask APC a hundred ways. Make sure they’re not selling you tire cleaner, glass cleaner, “quick detailer” or panel prep! A high alkaline foaming presoak foam bath is chemically indistinguishable from an APC bath & rinse prior to hand wash.
@@Ichabod_Jericho I don't do foaming only pump spray, works everytime
@@dimmacommunication except on hot days in direct sunlight! Can hardly get back to where you started without it drying up on you, dwell time for minutes via foam boi. Can’t foam everywhere tho
@@Ichabod_Jericho Never do anything in the sun, the UV lights reacts with the procut ruining paint.
I enjoy and get a lot out of your videos Sandro and thank you for your time and effort, can I ask you about your wheel arch brush and where to get one.
Really nice to hear that, here’s a link to the brush: amzn.to/3g0GsfC
Thank you.@@CarCraftAutoDetailing
Thanks Sandro, for taking the time to put this together. I always enjoy your videos, but this one was particularly informative.
I'm curious to know if you've ever done a video on regular, weekly decontamination during maintenance washes? My workplace is next door to an asphalt production plant, so you can imagine the amount of airborne mineral and tar based contamination is stuck to my poor truck by Friday afternoon. I'm currently using Meguiar's hybrid ceramic for main protection, but I'm curious about anything I can use weekly to remove this gritty mess without damaging my paint or needing to re apply protection after every wash? Can you offer any suggestions?
My pleasure mate and your situation may need some trial an error testing to find the best solution.
The vehicle in the video has a 3mth old ceramic coating, so I can comfortably use traffic film, iron and tar removers to deep clean the surface without compromising the coating - which is very chemical resistant.
You may find you’ll need to test perhaps something like BugOut or Poorboy’s StripDown to see if they firstly remove the contamination and secondly if Meguiars HCW holds up to them.
You could even try Carpro Multi-X starting at 1:5 and working your way up or down in diluting it accordingly.
@CarCraftAutoDetailing thanks for taking the time for this thoughtful response! I'm beginning to think that the time has come to actually jump into the world of "pro-sumer" coatings. The cost of course us more, but having something I can actually get clean without degrading the coating would be nice. To be honest, I believe the worst dirt accumulated this past couple of weeks has been due to poor air quality/fallout from the wildfires here in Canada. We had a really bad week last week, it was actually hard to breathe for a couple of days due to the poor air quality. I'm going to do some trial and error, and maybe get ready to "up my game" next year. Again, thanks so much for taking the time!🙂
I hope you guys have seen the worst of those fires and your families are safe.
@CarCraftAutoDetailing I'm also hoping for the safety of the first responders dealing with them. These fires have all been in Northern Quebec and Ontario. I live in Southern Ontario, so not all that close, thankfully.
Can you do a video about the best polish
Another awesome video, Sandro. You recommend Shine Supply's Wise Guy for tyres, but how is it on wheels compared to NV Purge? I'm looking at keeping it simple and hoping that this will allow me to use it for both tyres and wheels. Cheers, mate.
Thanks and you can absolutely use WiseGuy for wheels, but I would recommend diluting further at least 1:5 up to 1:10. The main reason I prefer Purge is that it’s more gentle and a little better on brake dust, but WiseGuy will still be very capable and at the right dilution also safe.
can descale rejuvinate long term sealants if I use with lowest possible strength? I need to see how the residue built up on a sealant that reduces hyrdophobicity can be revived given that the sealant is almost new and going strong under the residue/fallout
Yes it can
Thanks for all your incredibly helpful content over the years, not sure my bank account would agree but 😂
Can I also ask, is there any specific combo of product plus an applicator/brush that you like to use on the more aggressively lugged off road tires? I haven't quite found a combo that speeds up the application process yet. I've just been using a foam applicator and "sponging" it in.
Thanks again!
Thanks so much for the support, it’s greatly appreciated!
A tyre dressing combination I like a lot particularly on off-road 4x4 tyres using Zaino Z16 with a detailing brush (something like the Carpro Boar Hair brush) and just painting Z16 over the tyre walls and knobby treat patterns, it’s great at getting into all the intricate areas. Also just leave on and usually it all self leaves within 30-45mins and looks just amazing. You can also just use a cloth to wipe off any runs on the rims or any excess dressing.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing awesome, thanks! I dread this process usually when doing 4x4s so will give it a go
I didn't see anything on /ceramic coatings, but i didn't check through your complete channels either. but i am interested in your input on ceramics. Mostly the quality side, not so much the brand. Also as I am not a professional, my request would be for readily available products. How do you evaluate them? what do you look For in ceramic coatings? Oh and are graphine products the same thing? thank you for your time and information Sandro.
This was really a wash and decontamination series listing of products - but have a look at some of many coating reviews I’ve done as they should answer those questions.
A new Sandro upload yessss
Can you use wise guy diluted for maintenance cleaning on tyres
Yes, about 1:5 should be great for maintenance tyre cleaning
Fantastic video. Just wondering what brush you are using on the wheel arches in your video? Also the small mitt you are using on the rims? I’m currently using Bowden’s Big Black One but I found it doesn’t fit under a lot of wheel arches.
I’ll give you a like to the Wheel Arch Brush: amzn.to/3TdsN3L
I don’t have a link for the mitt but I believe it’s called the microfibre madness crazy bag
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing perfect, thanks very much.
What is the best interior dash and trim protectant and leaves a natural finish Sandro?????????🤔🤔🤔
303 Aerospace is pretty good
Heh Sandro I made the mistake of using spotless 2.0 on my exterior tinted windows on a sunny day and now I got chemical staining on my glass. Any advice on how to remove it ?
Your tint should be in the inside, so if it’s the exterior glass that’s been stained, you should be able to use a standard car polish to remove it.
I found out one thing, never use feldspar to polish a car. It will scratch the living hell out of it. Poor advice I cook from my brother
Sandro. Have you used/reviewed any of the DIY DETAIL products?
No I unfortunately haven’t!
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing They have some outstanding products.
That seems to be a little bit of a pattern going here with the brands that you recommend do you get sent most of your products for free?
Waiting for the video on the new shinemate eb210
i still cant get through the products i bought 3-4 years ago
How does meguiars leather conditioner compare to 303 protectant?
It’s been a while since I used Meguiar’s Leather Conditioner, but by memory I would say it’s a touch glossier and maybe a little slicker in finish. 303 is really more of a factor matte finish and feel.
Hey Sandro, enjoying your videos heaps but have a question. Out of all the brands I see you review I haven’t seen you review any Autosmart products like Red7, G101, Snow foam pro etc. have you used these?
No. Back in my mobile days I had a very poor experience with the brand and gave up on it through frustration and poor communication and service.
Oh ok that makes sense then, I’m using a few chemicals of there’s and having great results with them at the moment but that’s understandable cheers mate
I never use the Iron Removers to clean wheels , only sporadically.
I think you should distinguish the 2.
Wheel cleaners and Iron removers
Very nice and imformative video👍🏻

Welcome back!👍😁
🥇thank you my friend
Great video and brilliant insight into different products and reasons why they work for you, being careful and sensible about what you use is what should get you good results. I wanted to do a decon on one of our cars while I was off last week and a quick polish and re-protect. It’s been blazing hot near 30 degrees in the uk and have left it as I’m not prepared to go out with a fallout remove until I get some good shade to work in, just asking for trouble.
Though I’d share some that work well for me…..
Tyre Cleaner - Autoglanz Rebound
APC - Bilt Hamber Surfex HD
Pure Shampoo-
Adams Blue Shampoo
Decon Shampoo -
Garage Therapy Zero Decon
Strip Shampoo - as above or
Meguiars wash +
Snowfoam (good cleaning)-
Bilt Hamber Autofoam / Touchless
Autoglanz Spritzer (Citrus)
Iron Fallout Remover-
Auto Finesse Iron Out. Not cheap but states not an issue if drys as long as not used in direct sunlight
Car Pro Iron X or BH Korrosol also good, former was first one I ever used
Acid Shampoo (coating rejuvenation or mild water spots) - Labocosmetics Purifica
Water Spots
(Mild) Koch Chemie FSE (Detail Spray post wash)
(Worst case) Labocosmetica Energo
Tar - Autosmart Tardis with care for quick and effective removal
Safer option is Autoglym for light deposits
Clay Lubricant - ONR or P&S Absolute which also use for rinseless washing
Still need to try out BH Soft clay as can be used with just water but would use rinseless as a precaution. I agree the newer synthetic stuff is good and quicker if a little less effective, I also want to try out some of the newer ones with more pores in to keep the contamination better from the surface such as The Rag Company Ultra Clay Scrubber, as although only one use of the Carbon Collective Exfoli Block worked well I feel the prior would be safer and gentler.
Thank for the content Sandro 👍🏼
Appreciate that mate and thanks for sharing your own experience and processes with those products.
try Koch Chemie brand :))
Sandro... what coating do you have on the Alpha mate? 👍
It’s DQuartz topped with CQuartz Pro
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Excellent! Thanks for the great video as always
Holy crap @11:54 . I think I have to redo the math on CarPro Reset. I only use 1 tablespoon per 2.25-2.5 gallons
I'm curious how none of built hamber products made your list?
I tried to be clear that it was about what I personally use, doesn’t mean they aren’t great products from many other brands 🙂
@CarCraftAutoDetailing yes sir I completely understand and I'm not disputing your choices in the least. In my personal yet humble opinion you may be the most detail oriented and meticulous individual I've seen on UA-cam. I watch as much of you content as possible. I'm just wondering why built hamber is not in your arsenal. I find their products to beat most others on performance (importantly) and price. I'd love to see a small test of a few of their product from you perspective respectfully sir
@rockingarchangel they are great products & I use some of them, but hear in Australia they are very expensive unfortunately
Not through the whole videos, but NV Snow was not great for me. Mostly because it was not great in warm weather, for some reason left staining on trims which most neutral soaps I never have a problem with. Also didn’t have great luck with NV Jet for some reason, but loved their wheel cleaner and tire dressing.
We all have different experiences with different products, I always recommend going with what works for you.
Apply NV jet as a drying aide
Wow Snow does not seem very concentrated.....
You guys need some Bilt Hamber stuff!
We have it BUT way overpriced.
I'm here first😊
Nice try!😁👍
Very disappointed to see that you've snubbed Bowden's, Sandro. For a brand that won almost every single comparison you did, I find it hard to believe that their quality has just dropped over the years, or that the older products in this video are suddenly so much better.
Perhaps Bowden's weren't willing to pay the CCAD tax. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I addressed that in the first minute of the video, this list wasn’t based around what have tested and necessarily liked, it’s about what I use in my business.
If you love Bowden’s Own that’s great, I also like their products, but don’t be so fragile or triggered that you feel you need to insult me because they are here. Just use them and enjoy them - you don’t need my approval and you don’t need to be a prick about it.
Hey Tony farkin 👍
dude you are doing the same wheel What the fuck is up with that?
