Teflon tape is only for tapered threads (like NPT) that use the threads to create a seal. The O-ring is sufficient and acts as a lock.
also, always lubricate your o-rings

In the video you used teflon on the coolant line fittings for the intercooler. Not sure if that is needed as they appear to be o-ring (ORB) fittings... On ORB connections the threads don't seal the connection like NPT or BSPT fittings do, the O-ring should do that for you at the base of the fitting. (Note the machined recess on the manifold side where the o-ring on the fitting presses into).

Good afternoon! Love time viewer of yalls videos and really appreciate the content. I actually just had this manifold and the rest of the CSF cooling package installed in my A91 supra. I had a question if I may. In your video, you route the coolant hoses: top heat exchanger, bottom to water pump. I noticed the install team, an according the csf install instructions, did it reverse. Does it particularly matter? The reason i ask is. Im acurally seeing IATs running 10° hotter than before the package install. It also has the heat spacer too. Appreciate any insight you guys might have!

do you know if CSF has something like this for the n55 motor?... I am always looking for a good billet intake manifold for my n55.... get rid of the useless plastic one that BMW gives you....
You should install an FI interchiller. Get that manifold frosty!

Love your G20 videos. I’m just starting the mod process for my M340i. What would be your recommended order? 1. Downpipe, 2. Intake, 3. Charge Pipe, 4. CSF Manifold, 5. Pure 800 turbo. Something like that? I’m not sure how far I’ll go, but interested to know what you think would be the best sequence.

@@Sf80p its pretty simple the title of the video says g20 thats why they asked that question. I can say the kies website says g series so that would imply all g body cars

What is the advantage of changing this part?
Holds more boost, keeps intake Temps much cooler, less heat sink for track use, nicer air distribution to each cylinder, and these motors have the intercooler in the intake manifold, so it's an upgrade to the intercooler as well.

Nobody mentioning "price" here? I mean, it's an Awesome manifold, no question, but $4,500 to $6,000 depending on application? And that's for just the manifold, not the 5 or 6 piece kit. But I guess on the Internet, everyone is "rich", lol.

A tune
Literally 900 to 1400 bucks. Just tune and downpipe (if you are 2020). If you are 2021+ you need a Femto clone which is 4k in order to be able to tune
