"he's gonna do it again" is probably one of Allen's most iconic calls. Also that celebration by the crew chief is my favorite part. That was a dream fulfilled right there.
That's right I shure hope SHR does good without him I was hopeing he would stick around SHR with driver development but I don't blame him you know FOX gave him a chunk for joining the booth with Boywer
A very impressive pass happened at the 2023 Sonoma Toyota / SaveMart 350 with Chastain going around Lagano. Chastain had been behind Lagano for a while at this point and everyone, even the announcers, were looking for him to get the run off of turn 10 and dive bomb it into the turn 11 hairpin. But instead Chastain did it the hard way and passed Lagano on the outside of the hairpin! Something that I don't think had been done that entire race unless traffic was involved. He didn't hold the position for long but still, it was quite the move! If you look up NASCAR's UA-cam upload of the race you can see it at 1:28:10 I also left a comment with that timestamp in the comments of that video for anyone interested :>
Part 2: Jeff Gordon at Talladega in 04 Ricky Craven at Darlington in 03 Kevin Harvick at Daytona in 07 Jeremy Mayfield at Pocono in 00 Dale Earnhardt Jr at Talladega in 01 Jeff Gordon at Bristol in 02 Terry Labonte at Richmond in 98 Trevor Bayne at Dayton in 11 Marcos Ambrose at Watkins Glen in 12 Bobby Labonte at Atlanta in 00
There should be a part 2 to this! Great video. 2 great passes which didn't make this video: 2011 Fontana - Kevin Harvick pushes Jimmie Johnson into turn 3 on the last lap to pass him on the outside and take the win. (Early 2010s Truck Series, don't remember the year or race) - Kyle Busch, with 2 laps left in the race, passes 7-8 trucks en route to a race win.
The Harvick pass at the Brickyard was set up by a prior pass the prior restart when Harvick was the one who went to the grass. Denny tried to copy his move later only for Harvick to pass him back on the outside in the clip you showed. It was gold.
And also his passes at Fontana 2011, Daytona 500 2007, Talladega 2010, Richmond 2013 (off the top of my head). Almost forgot Kansas 2018 and Michigan 2020, the one where he passed Kyle Busch for the lead and knocked Busch loose without even touching him, with the air alone.
@@MMCS07 all good. It’s probably from my comments on other videos that UA-cam doesn’t like very much. My political views don’t follow the “narrative” if you watch any of my vids. lol

Yeah
There was nothing scarier than Tony Stewart when he decided he was going to pass you. Just nothing you could do about it
Yep

Larson’s Michigan pass was an average NASCAR Heat 5 public lobby race start except he didn’t crash lol
Lol
Kes passing Johnson is my favorite
I watched that Kyle Busch pass in Vegas in 2016. Greatest pass I have ever seen in person. Dude is an animal
He is

Disappointing to watch what this sport is becoming
Busch is overrated trash
When Ross Chastain cast on the past on the wall did he bump Denny Hamlin out of his Chase for the cup?
