oh The Spangle mermaid my friend has one of those that she had on her front porch the people came by and stole it she finally got it back from them, I never knew they sold for four or five 100, she shouldn't never had it sitting out on the front porch Maybe, she knew some About Antiques but maybe she just didn't know that one was selling for that ,.every time I went over there I always commented on her mermaid how pretty it was, and she had it out there for the little chickens to drink water out of she really loved her chickens.
01:20 I'm _taken_ with the portable humidor. Nothing I've ever seen in my life. 06:28 Oh, yeah. I've seen that McCoy clown before in an Austin Goodwill, but in lots worse shape. 15:40 It's dollhouse food! That's similar to the things illustrated in Beatrix Potter's _The Tale of Two Bad Mice._
@@TheAntiqueNomad We don't, really. Mostly our Austin Goodwills are the usual run of modern gunge. That McCoy clown was the only half-desirable thing I've EVER seen at that location, and its condition was so crappy (it looked like American Bisque, so much paint was gone) I wouldn't have it. However, we do got tons of good thrift and vintage shops.
You are a true fount of information that is very useful. Not sure if I want to be a reseller or not but it helps me when in the thrift stores for sure. I love it. Have a great day
That's all that matters! I just want people to enjoy and preserve and appreciate all this old stuff, whether they're collectors, thrifters or resellers
Here I am again! This fantastic video is marked at 1 year old. Knowledge and entertainment rolled into my time with you in this unwatched and belated view of your tour of this fabulous show. Thank you, George! ❤🎉❤
Your commentary is so interesting George. I really enjoy coming along on your trips 😁 with the added historical content for us Europeans very much appreciated. Btw. I adore vintage costume jewellery

Thank you for being such a positive supporter of new sellers! I’m just getting ready to start selling myself and I really appreciate the vibe that the more the merrier.
This show has so many things I've never seen before!! Thanks so much for bringing it to us. I love watching you filming and hearing your knowledgeable input.
The jewelry!!!! Wow, very cool. So funny you said, eBay or Etsy sellers get a booth because they have too much inventory. I just signed up for the first time to do the biggest garage sale over 600 booths, in Clark County Washington. I'm excited, it's just for one day but who knows where it will take me.
As an old and antique toy and Christmas collector, on a budget I must say, I loved the booth with the Dresdner pappe, old ornaments, santa's and all the jointed dolls, Steiffs and other toys. And the jewelry, amazing! Such a wide and abundant variety of items, it is almost incomprehensible coming from a small town and country myself. Makes me want to take a plane and come shopping. Always such a pleasure to watch and learn from your video's. Thanks and cheers from the Netherlands!
What a fantastic show. So many interesting item's and old that has survived. It's wonderful to see. So much history. I loved the antique Santa and open carriage. I was hoping for a price. Just curious! Florida has so much stock and collectables! Wow! We used to have collectable shows here but especially past several yrs venders quit. Sad. Thank you for showing. I enjoyed it so much!! 🌺
Love to see the walk thru on your videos. The information you give us is very helpful. I learn a lot on all the different pieces and antique. I haven't set up in a flea market for about 5 or 6 years you have inspired me. Thank you.
Hi George thanks for showing us around, I’m in love with the 1900s advertising with the children around the world, best wishes from Michele in Australia
What a fun show! I love the cooperative spirit of these videos and how willing you are to promote others and teach us so much as you go along. I learn more from you than any other content creator. Keep up the good work.
The Daum piece!! I just learned a new maker from you. Thank you. What do I want the most ???? The miniature food 😃👍. When I helped at my sons kindergarten. The teacher was making a small store for them to learn. I told her I’d bring in some plastic food. She was young and had never heard of it😉 I changed my mind on my favorite item. I REALLY want those hand tooled leather shoes from Mexico! I have a matching satchel.
George, always a pleasure! So many beautiful, interesting, and unusual things. Loved the Czech jewelry. Loved the flowing ,light weight wool clothing! Today's clothing is so unappealing unless you are Kate Middleton. Even fabric is boring.
Another excellent and entertaining video, George. Well done! I love seeing all the different vendors booths. So many amazing finds. I really loved that pair of Lucite Lamps and the Lucite chairs. The jewellery was great too. I loved seeing the fur coats - I hope to find one some day. Thank you so much for all your hard work with the videos. I really appreciate watching your videos. Take care. God bless. With love from Sharon in Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. xo
Good evening, George! I like the old iron patio furniture. It takes more maintenance, but it is more substantial than the aluminium. Loved the Victorian cranberry pickle/condiment jar next to the Consolidated Glass piece. I have a water set, table set and two mini lamps by Consolidated Glass, in the "Cosmos" pattern. Those floor lamps were fantastic! She did a fab job on the shades, too! I'm not a jewelry collector, but I make an exception with the Czech pieces. They have always seemed "above the bar" to me. Wow! That mint green epergne was fantastic! Loved the Daum Nancy vase. Those colours are my favourite combination. Really liked the pressed, embossed paper ship ornament. That Carnival Glass was ALL fantastic! Loved the ice blue beverage set! If it had been ice green, the price would've likely been, at least, another third of that price added to it. Those tables where the Fenton Jadite set was would've kept me busy for a while. That looked like a really good show! Thanks for the tour!!!
I'd love to own that ice blue beverage set, I've never had that color! I really enjoy Consolidated Cosmos too. Czech does seem distinct to me as costume jewelry goes
Another great video, glad that thief finally got caught. Thanks for pointing out about the Dalrose, I collect Roseville and wasn't aware the older pieces sometimes aren't marked
George, I love your videos and you are a wealth of information! I'm in New Port Richie, but only have Wed off work, so thrifting is challenging. I am learning so much from your channel! What a great show! We have Flea Markets here in North Central Indiana but I'm don't know about any Antique/Vintage shows in the area. Maybe you know of some. Not sure about taking Vintage and Antiques to Flea Markets I used to sell Exotic Birds at the Flea Markets so I need to do some thinking on that. You are a one man show so it is a lot of work and I admire you for that. Lots of Love and Kindness.
Awesome antique show and tell. Wow I actually saw the news about the elderly man stealing when it aired. SHAME SHAME ON HIM. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!!!
I thrifted a Michal Negrin necklace. In my curiosity/research I had discovered: she, not he, is an Israeli fashion designer who makes over the top bedazzled pieces with Swarovski crystals, brass, beads etc, along with clothing and other accessories. I think she closed up her brick and mortar locations and sells mainly online as demand for these styles wanes (new anyway, vintage pieces seem to have some collectors). @13:40 is that Don Quixote Masonite leather art? I found a leather and beaded woman on composite I can't figure out. Her wardrobe is interesting: some traditional style of maybe rural European? with a flower hat, tapestry apron, and colourful dress/shoes. Still searching...🙂
I remember what you told us about why silk was weighted from China. Naughty folks! We got burned twice, sad really, losing wonderful fabric. Love you, from Canada!

Love the debonair hair style in the video!
It might be 6 months late. This was awesome! Love it. Want to go next year.
My mom had a set of that white iron patio furniture. It was uncomfortable. Brought back memories of family and extended family sitting on the porch.
It needs cushions for certain!
Love Laura Caldwell too! Great video!

Well yes, but we asked for it by saying we'd pay by weight because it was light instead of paying by the yard.
