    I bought your book online. I thought this book would be amazing AF so I guessed it would cost 50 dollars. But I wasn't even in the ballpark. It's only 10 dollars! That is so awesome.

    This has been an interesting Idiom, Teacher Mark. You had told us that your first apartment was within the ballpark. Then you changed that to another one still cheaper. Sometimes I wonder if you will change to a third one just because it is wihin the ballpark. HAHA!
    Thanks a lot for the Lesson and will be waiting for the Baseball Idioms. Your world is wonderful!

    I guess if our cellphones happened to be a person, it is the nice buddy in town. Because it sees everything we do, knows what's we're busy about, hears our secrets and silent cries. I guess it giggles when we do crazy selfies.😜 Wakes us up and remind us our schedule. And now we tag them along when we sits on the can and see whateeeeever we do in private uh oh haha 😳😖😷 ... and never complains🤐😫 ... just saying lol. It's still best to have a real person as a friend🤗

    The example with the car reminded me that you had a car! What did you do with it before you went to Thailand? Did you sell it or did you leave it in Canada? I think you sold it, because it makes no sense for the car not to be driven.

    • @MadEnglishTV
      @MadEnglishTV  5 років тому +2

      Great question! I still have my car in Canada. It's parked outside in the bitter cold. Right now my life doesn't make sense. I hope I can afford to buy my own condo soon, then I will be able to organize my life better. 😃😃

    • @stisti7879
      @stisti7879 5 років тому

      @@MadEnglishTV I hope so! A condo in Canada? Makes no sense with your preferences :) Bad climate, expensive condos. You better buy a house in Sicily or in Spain almost for free. They are giving them away to attract people.

    • @MadEnglishTV
      @MadEnglishTV  5 років тому +1

      You're right! The problem is that I need a permanent address in Canada for many reasons. I have looked seriously into giving up my Canadian residency and trying to get residency in another country, but that path has a lot of complications. I would lose my Canadian driver's license, bank accounts, etc. Buying a condo in Canada would be the cheapest way for me to get a permanent address. I could just rent a place in Canada and live overseas, but renting is about the same as paying for a mortgage, so it would be more efficient financially for me to spend my money on a permanent place instead of just renting. The only reason I have not bought a condo already is because banks will not give me a loan because I don't have a traditional job. I'm hoping I can buy a place before the Canadian economy improves. Right now condos in Calgary are pretty cheap. We'll see what happens! 😃

    • @stisti7879
      @stisti7879 5 років тому

      @@MadEnglishTV Great reasoning. Now I can understand your motives. To buy a condo and to rent it would be smart solution - providing you with all the Canadian residency benefits and also letting you cash in or even rake in when the market goes up :)

    • @MadEnglishTV
      @MadEnglishTV  5 років тому +1

      @@stisti7879 Yeah! Hopefully I can rake in the dough when the market goes up.
