    My Father in law, Made his own Italian sausage !! And he had a Huge garden, & grew his own, Italian green beans. He also grew, peppers, tomatoes, .... And, red & green frying peppers, onions.... Needless to say, he was a good cook!!!
    I don't eat this spicey food so much anymore, but, Thank You for Pleasant Memories ! ( He passed away 12 yrs. ago at the age of 93!) And he wasn't even Italian !!! But he Grew, & made such food !! Great memories!!! 💗💗💗

    I’m in line for those sausages with 🌶 🫑peppers and onions 🧅 and tomatoes. This recipe is great by itself or with rice and on a hot dog 🌭 bun, take your choice. Also, another great one for “ SOME FOOTBALL “. Getting my recipes ready for game days and the crowds. Love these quick ones. Thanks man !!

    Oowee this looked mighty tasty! I would definitely have this over rice.
    I would also drain it, and use as toppings for a pizza or calzone.

    Interesting that you put the basil in with the garlic...I would have thought that would go in toward the end. Looks like it kind of got fried along with the garlic, which is kind of legit.

    Looks good, but I'll change the sausage as we don't like the sweet ones. I'm of the don't like green peppers house so I always change the recipes. I love these adjustable recipes. Thanks for posing this!

    Just about that time of year you just want any kind of sausage. I can never resist a Good batch of Italian Sausage. Thanks for sharing. I have never put the Cajun seasoning in my Sauce. Do you have a recipe for Cajun seasoning

      Yes ma'am it's something about a good Italian sausage. When I was preparing it I saw some Cajun Seasoning and just said let me add this🤣. I'm always experimenting. Here is how I make homemade Cajun Seasoning
      2 tablespoons Paprika
      2 tablespoons Salt
      2 tablespoons Garlic Powder
      1 tablespoon Black Pepper
      1 tablespoon White Pepper
      1 tablespoon Onion Powder
      1 tablespoon Dried Oregano
      1 tablespoon Dried Basil
      1 tablespoon Dried Thyme
      1 tablespoon Red Pepper(Cayenne)

    I thought most people ate these on buns? Looks good. The quality of the sausage will be the main factor. Most of the national brands, and store brands suck.

    Huh, I've always just saute/fried the onions and peppers. This is more of a stew technique, and I like that the sausages finish by steam/simmer.

The great thing about your recipes that I've tried, is that I enjoyed them. (Whispering....I'm not a vegetarian, nor do I play one on t.v., but I really am enjoying eating greens these days....what exotic recipes do you have in your arsenal that don't include proteins....Now don't get me wrong...I love me some meat (but I ain't lookin' for no pig's feet and ox azzz)...just want some sexy veggie dishes from time to time😊

I’m not a chef either but Yuk on leaving it on , do yourself a favor an look renound chef Jean Perrie sn he advices to cut off casesing before cooking , he’s on Utube , I cut cut off before I cook Italian sauage ,

      There is no right or wrong way to cook, it's all preference as to what the individual likes. If that's his preference good for him. Depending on what I'm cooking I leave it on or take it off. That's my preference. Anyway, casing on or off this recipe is delicious 😋

    Onions too late, garlic and herbs too soon. You didnt keep the sausage fond at the bottom of the pan. Apart from that.. nice

    You forget to tell us when to turn it over I guess I’m not a cook. He said eight minutes. I let it sit there and I ended up with burnt sausage on the bottom and raw on top. I think you gotta get more specific for novice like me or maybe you’re only for gourmet cooks.
