Interesting that you put the basil in with the garlic...I would have thought that would go in toward the end. Looks like it kind of got fried along with the garlic, which is kind of legit.

Here is how I make homemade Cajun Seasoning 2 tablespoons Paprika 2 tablespoons Salt 2 tablespoons Garlic Powder 1 tablespoon Black Pepper 1 tablespoon White Pepper 1 tablespoon Onion Powder 1 tablespoon Dried Oregano 1 tablespoon Dried Basil 1 tablespoon Dried Thyme 1 tablespoon Red Pepper(Cayenne)

There is no right or wrong way to cook, it's all preference as to what the individual likes. If that's his preference good for him. Depending on what I'm cooking I leave it on or take it off. That's my preference. Anyway, casing on or off this recipe is delicious 😋
You forget to tell us when to turn it over I guess I’m not a cook. He said eight minutes. I let it sit there and I ended up with burnt sausage on the bottom and raw on top. I think you gotta get more specific for novice like me or maybe you’re only for gourmet cooks.
