- Days Gone has been released and the reviews are pretty mediocre. There are apparently some pretty big technical issues like pop ins, stuttering, frame drops, and people literally falling through the map. Now a normal person would take these issues into consideration in buy a game and not get triggered over it. But, where's the fun in that. today we are going to be looking at the pure damage control for the low Days Gone review scores from the saltiest PS4 fanboy on UA-cam, JayTechTV. This guy has a reputation for attacking PC and Xbox gamers and this time is no different. He is salty days gone got a low metacritic score and put out this amazing video.

I mean... to this very day I still play skyrim, oblivion, fallout 3, fallout new vegas, and fallout 4 all very heavily modded. I usually play vanilla first then mod the games to extend its replayability. So idk why some people have to treat modding like its a crime xD
To be fair, Bethesda and a couple of other devs really too heavily on the modding community to make their games tolerable for PC gamers, but I don't put all of the blame on the modders and gamers for that, that just sounds like spite.

Days Gone has bugs and glitches but I enjoyed the game. But geez, this man. I feel bad for owning a PS4 now. 😂

So, as someone who owns every major console and a high end PC, I love Days Gone. To be absolutely fair, I am INCREDIBLY biased, as I love games like Dead Rising and Far Cry, which Days Gone feels like it takes a lot of mechanics from, especially in regards to Far Cry. This doesn’t excuse the bugginess of the game, as I have experienced some weird occurrences such as buggy AI and audio/subtitles not playing at the correct time. I gotta be honest as well when I say I HATE the console wars and the PC Master Race/Console Peasant argument. I believe you should play on whatever you want to play on.

G4L Rambling you're pretty mich wrong about spiderman and god of war, LFGing around at that time everyone i came across wanted to play those games and were excited for them even if they weren't going to purchase them. Some Xbox d riders probably got salty sure but a majority of the population just accepted it, every console gets exclusives there's nothing we can do about it

I personally think its a fun game but its far from perfect. I like it so far and I never really bought it for the story, I think its around a 7.8 out of 10. And could be a 8 or even 9 if they fix the bugs and glitches and add awesome updates.

Great physics but that's as far as it goes. Even if all the bugs are removed the game is still boring. The zombie genre is boring in general, I'd say it died with Left 4 dead but Dying Light still holds up great. I wouldn't call TLoU a zombie game if you'll mention that, it's way beyond that.

@@Xgil2Play There's so much more to it, the last thing that comes to my mind when TLoU is mentioned is zombies. The majority of the game is fighting other humans, if not (can't remember well, it's been years) it's the most impactful and interesting parts.

Hmm Very tricky to tell, I think the answers we want isnt probably true, perhaps the great einstein will be able to tell us (jk we know he would praise it)
I don't want to sound like i'm damage controlling but i'm 15 hours into the game and I have no issues with performance and haven't encountered any bugs....plus the game is visually stunning and fun to play. I think reviewers played a pre-patched version. By the time it was released patch 1.04 was installed. Not defending blindly, but sharing my experience which has been amazing so far....days gone is a great game. Only issue for me is a bike fuel consumption
Its not just you, Griffin is just clout chasing without having tried the game. Most of us are having the same experience you are because we're playing it with the update.

They NEED to fix the frame rate, idc about pop in Ive barely noticed it and havent had any other issuses yet, just get that shit stable. (On bike it can drop to like 10fps for a few seconds which makes me feel like im riding a scooter)

Only Bug I've encountered is dropping a gas can on the floor and it falling through the map, leaving me to push my Bike 300m to the nearest gas station lmao.
0Bennyman well being on a normal PS4 is probably why but the new patch 1.05 improved performance quite a bit

Played Days Gone (loved it), only experienced a frame drop in when I jumped over a gap and that was all. Never experienced any of the other bugs and glitches

@Jotaro Kujo according to Digital foundry Spiderman wasn't downgraded. Actually upgraded because of the lighting they've changed which makes his "scales" of his suit pop out more, more detailed. It was a artistic change. There were puddles, but the lightning and reflection changed. That was pretty much it. Spiderman looks amazing. Best looking New York, in HDR

I played and beat Day's Gone and I know that most of these complaints were of copies not updated. Day's Gone is an excellent game all the way through. Taking on the many hordes and the randomness of them keeps it very interesting.

I’ve poured hours into Days Gone. I’m honestly having a lot of fun. What I find ironic is that you say Days Gone is repetitive but you’re showing gameplay of COD and that game has been nothing but repetitive and recycled over and over since 2009.
