I am left wondering, though, what the future plot lines would have looked like had Rosalind Cash still been alive. It haunts me to no end that she left the world too soon, thus leaving GH too soon. So much talent, and so much potential left untapped. This playlist consistently reminds me how much I miss her, and also reminds me just how lucky we were to have her for the short time she was on GH.
I will fill folks in on what I remember 154 to be when I watched it over 3 years ago - Laura had to stay back with LuLu and one of the other babies, as both were sick with ear infections. Laura called Luke and asked him to get an Rx that Simone called into the drug store. Laura left the baseball bats downstairs. The rest of the kids had gone on the field trip. I believe Damien enters the building and sets the place on fire, and Laura finds herself trapped upstairs. Luke, knowing Laura is up there, runs in to rescue Laura, and that is where I believe we are when 155 starts. I think the reason it got deleted is that Laura was singing a lullaby to LuLu when all of the action starts taking place.
I miss this Luke. Laura was his moral compass. They did good job at raising Lucky & when he messed up they made him feel bad about it w/out nagging like some parents do. He made himself feel guilty by not letting his parents trust him
Luke has 2 boys who have itchy fingers Lucky at 13 and Ethan in his twenties! Lucky turned out real nice as a police detective and Ethan as a bartender
@ggmarie1234 I guess for me I always appreciated Luke's back story.. it was so well done.. and really helped me understand everything he did.. and why.. gave a lot of this behavior true back bone. (though often nothing I would do myself) I miss that kind of storytelling on GH.
ggmarie1234 I don't like Luke's comment. He seems to be more concerned with his own image than with Lucky being involved with something that could have caused him serious repercussions. Luke thinks his way of parenting is right and is second guessing that with good reason imo.
What did Lucky say at 2:38? Luke: Well if he ain't he is going to be really surprised to wake up on a slab naked with a tag on his toe. ROFL! Well hey this is Port Chuckles where people come back from the dead! :) Geez Luke with all that coughing you should get yourself checked out! :) Poor Justus and Keesha. :( Luke: God this parenting thing is such a grind. ROFL! Susseq I think Luke is a damn good father. He loves his children damn it! :)
@ggmarie1234 Hmm interesting I actually really appreciated Luke telling Lucky not to throw the trust that he has in him back in his face. (...and make a fool out of him). Luke never treated Lucky like a baby.I find it kind of refreshing. It seems in this day and age parents coddle children so badly, often don't make them take responsibility for anything.. and make excuses for them all of the time. Luke didn't have a role model for this.Seemed effective in his off beat way. (JMHO of course!)
@ggmarie1234 I thought today's GH was amazing. Tony Geary and Jonathan Jackson really are sick together... I am SO not the over emotional type.. my father didn't see me cry until I was almost 17 and lost a good friend in a car accidnet (it freaked him out).. but those two amazing actors had tears streaming down my face. Gosh first I was crying for Lucky.. then I was crying for Luke.. what a tangled mess.
@sussezq No, I never thought Luke was a crappy parent (although today's GH reallllly pissed me off). But I always thought he could have handled the gambling stuff better.
You know, I never liked Luke's response very much here. He seems more upset about Lucky "making a fool out of him" then about Lucky getting beaten up by thugs or getting addicted to gambling.

Betsy Keller Thanks! I was bummed that it was deleted.
@sussezq Well I am so glad that Tony Geary and Jonathan Jackson FINALLY made you cry! :) And I'm so sorry about your friend. :(
I love how they snuck a Rosalind Cash moment in there. Wouldn't be right any other way.
I bet when he decided wanted have kids with Laura figured he just let them make their own mistakes

Poor Lucky thinks his parents are probably dead and his last words with them were unhappy ones. At least Mae Mae didn't have to go through this.
GH threw the Wards under the bus. It's all they do. Create great characters and then throw them under the bus.

Is there any place to watch the missing scenes??
hmmm . ... playlist 154 is deleted. shame.

How about making Lucky do dishes at the club and house chores at the Q's and for Lucy?
@ggmarie1234 So you think the whole theme of LUke being a crappy parent is nothing new??

Damien strikes again! The creep.

That's not what Luke is saying. What he means is that he's trusting Lucky and hopes Lucky doesn't let him down again.
