I loved the Dung Beetle level way more than I expected too. My first time through I set up lots of bridges with webs so whenever I returned to the level to find secrets I could just spam the swing button, slip on the mud, and fly up the mountain with ease. It's wild how fast you can climb this thing when you know the route!
Surprised he found the spider-bot first playthrough. I missed it on mine and when it showed up in the credits my jaw dropped.

Rodeoing fish in subnauntica has made Tom stronk at catching flies
I love he's so intent of web-grabbing them that he'll even shoot down his own web line that a fruit fly will just fly straight into, in order to get a better shot.

as an arachnophobe I just want to say that this game's look and feel is great! They picked one of the few spiders unlikely to illlicit an ARGH SPIDER response, it's cute, and it manages to have him eating bugs, have baby spiders crawling all over, just great.
Can't wait to play it myself

God I love this game! Tom is right, for a simple, indie pixel art kinda game it feels unbelievably polished and the web mechanics are crazy satisfying (or dick-rippingly frustrating at times) and the writing is adorable and quirky and the whole thing was super fun.
Most games are made to be fun, some games have tens or hundreds of millions spent developing a distilled essence of fun to make a game but this might just be the most fun game I've played this year.

As much as I love Tom's Witty commentary and a great game, This episode was hard to follow, I felt there were too many sudden cuts. Keep up the great work though, love your vids.
To be honest the dung beetle's mountain is extremely linear and has nothing really going on with it besides some flinging going on with most sections. He caught all the interesting bits pretty well of the area at least that aren't off the beaten path.
Josh seems to have enjoyed editing this episode haha
