Hi, It's a nice little lens. Would be perfect for street photography or possibly astrophotography with it being F1.8. I use it on a sony A7iii. If this is something you would like to see more of please let me know and I will do what I can to cover it a little more. What type of photography do you do?
@@SecondSquarephotography Yes i use it it on my Fuji cameras, along with many more vintage ones that i have, only been shooting a couple of years since i retired, used to shoot an Olympus Om10 many years ago. I make pictures here in France in the summer its mostly seascapes and woodlands, but here in Brittany the winter is not good for light.. i enjoyed your video and your shots,
@@audiemurphy1866 Thank you for the nice comment. Brittany, I have a friend that lived there used to make calvados (not sure if i'm spelling that right) the OM10 was a great camera used by a lot of press photographers I believe. I started out on a Minolta X300. I still shoot film on a Mamiya C330.
@@SecondSquarephotography Hi, I have far to many Cameras, I recently bought a Meopta Flexaret vii which i will try out in the spring,,, need to also sort out a printer for my pictures that i take...The minolta x300 is still a great little camera, i have been looking for the x500 as they rate it even more than the x700.. we have sunshine here today so off to do some shopping but i always have three cameras with me so you can guess the rest ,lol. regards...
@@audiemurphy1866 If you have time heck out my videos on the Mamiya C330 TLR and a good 120 file to use is Kodak Ektar 100. I had both the Minolta X300 and X700, never used the X500 but I guess it was similar.
Hi, In my opinion it is quite sharp. It may not hold up to a modern lens with multi coatings but I think it's a good lens and well worth giving it a try.
Thank for this. I just bought this lens and this was helpful. 👍
Greetings from the Netherlands!
