Here's a little explanation for Norihiro Nakamura's very daunting bat flip (@0:35). Nakamura's grip was very weak as a result of multiple surgeries on his wrists. That's why he got to "loosen his grip and let the bat go" like we see from the clip. His bat flip had been quite controversial at first but the fans loved it. Since his team Kintetsu Buffaloes (currently Orix Buffaloes) was a small market, and Nakamura was one of a few notable draws. The managers kinda encouraged Nakamura to do more crazy bat flips.
Ok, I get it. Prince Fielder is a big boy and a fucking hell of a great hitter just like his father BUT...I don't give a shit who you are, who your family is and how many HR's you've hit! This is professional baseball, the MLB, the fucking SHOW but it's also America's greatest past time and a game played with respect, honor, loyalty & commitment so when you blast a WALK-OFF for your team to win and you untuck your jersey while running the bases and all that other bullshit you're setting an example for kids and generations to come that watch, play and idolize players who look up to you as a roll model and then they think it's alright to do the same just like the little kid playing Little League Baseball in this video that hits a HR, flips the bat and pounds his chest like he is god and ultimately making the pitcher feel like he's nothing at all and for kids that age it's NOT ok! Celebrate professionally and remember that you're being watched by millions of little "mirrors" that want to be just like you.

Ian Holmen lol fuck yeah, in high school I got ejected 4 times beaming someone’s head after a bat flip. Then eventually the district wanted me out of baseball because the kids all got concussions. But whatever. What makes it worse is 2 of them were flyouts on the warning track. I mean good job you get a HR, no need to be classless though. Baseball isn’t the nba or nfl. We should have a higher class.
Texas guy pitchers usually are the enforcers of classlessness in baseball. I will say, I also hated of someone was going to try a bunt, or a hit and run. When you know they are going to bunt just throw at them. I hit so many guys attempting a bunt that they called a strike lol.
