You may have to change the filter every 6 months to a year depending on the usage and dust in your area. As for spares, we could see that Philips website has most of the spares for sale. But the same can't be said of Eureka Forbes. But that being said, Eureka Forbes generally has a wider after sales service network. It would be better to check the service centre proximity of both before you make a decision.
Could you do another comparison of Wet & Dry vacuum cleaners by including the American Micronic VCD21-1600WDx, the Eureka Forbes Ultimo and Ultimo P, and the Karcher WD3 and WD4? The canister vacuum section was great, but the W&D vacuuming section had too few options.
I've already made my purchase but we need more channels like this who do a real comparison instead of reviewing any one product. Maybe consider reviewing Indian products that are available internationally for wider audience and possibly Patreon
Please cover the review of eureka forbes iClean vacuum cleaner. I m using eureka forbes vacuum cleaners. I found them excellent.. Performance, durability maintenance free for years together. Blower function in vacume cleaner is must. It helps a lot cleaning ecery corner which is non reachable otherwise. Another thing I noticed is the big size of the attachment used for regular sweeping of dust and kachra. If the size is bigger it may not reach below the bed, sofa or table as the gap is normally not more than 4 inchechs. A compact designed attachment is very convenient. I m not promoting the brand. I replaced the very first, i went for eureka brand again.

They both come with an upholstery attachment using which you can clean the mattress. But note that the attachments are not very wide. So, it will be time consuming.

Haven't used American Micronic. Cordless is of course a lot more easier to use, and expensive too. We had used a cordless from iLife. Wasn't as good as canister ones...

Don't pay advance in Demo "Eureka Forbes" They are charging more compared with outside shops. Don't pay advance. They are creating problems for return advance amount I am suffering with them, my amount 2k not returned from executive. Customer care support is too worst If anybody come to home for giving demo 1.ask employee ID 2.Ask physical receipt of it 3.Take a sign if cancelled the order amount will return Note: my suggestion is Don't pay advance

You can get conversion plugs. But it isn't really safe. So, wouldn't recommend it.
