I think a pocket flat 7-10 is pretty heart breaking especially in the 10th. Love the vids. You’re one of my favorite bowlers 🙏🏽 keep up the great content and can’t wait to watch you on the big screen winning majors 🤍
@@TheHouseBowling the 7, 10 with messenger is the worst break of all time I hate it lol. I really enjoyed this video and I love the celebrations. I'll say Packy you got robbed flat out! The IQ tour is a goat ball, but I'll say you definitely got robbed lol. But congrats Madison a really good game!
One time in league I started out with a hambone. In the 5th I left the 8-10 split but converted it. Everyone else got a strike so I had to buy everyone 2 drinks. But the good news was I struck in the 6th, spared in the 7th and struck out for a 268 game. I still remember that shot in the beer frame and it really was a good hit. Just a bad break. Great video. Entertaining as always. Thank you.
As a lefty, the true tap is a solid 9 pin. Solid eight means it was hooking too much, too much angle. Crushing the pocket and leaving a solid 9 means it was a bad rack.
Both can mean this. If a right leaves solid 9 pins it's bad luck. Same as leaving a solid 8 pin. One means your ball drove too good through the pocket and the other means it didn't drive enough/deflected. It's just reversed for a left hander
Packy we are getting close to the end of the year and a tier list of all of the bowling balls of 2022 rating them on tier list worst to best, please! Thank you👍
I’ve been using the baseball shammy since it came out. Only one I’ve seen. Hard to lose cuz everyone knows it’s mine. Put pie to Packys face on that wheel. Still owed? Team Madison again.
Is there perhaps no oil on those lanes? Today, I went for practice on super burned up lanes, and all of my shots basically went to the left gutter... No oil on the lanes. Nothing.
The worst break in bowling is when you go nine, spare, sheet and lose because your opponent shoots 300. p.s. I had a feeling that Madison would strike on the fill
I am looking to get a new bowling ball and don't know what to get I throw straight down the second arrow and hooks at the end any pointers and tips on which ball I should get thanks
There are too many factors to consider to give you a good recommendation. It would be easier if you said what ball you're currently using, your style, rev rate, speed, and what your current ball is not doing for you. Which even then would be hard to accurately tell you what to get. Best to have someone from your PSO to watch you bowl and give you recommendations
I love this format, but it needs a lot more choices… use an app that spins multiple wheels at once… One wheel for the ball choice, one wheel for the hand choice, one wheel for the arrow you aim at (with several for any arrow), one for the approach, being number of steps or granny style or granny style, facing backwards, one-handed, two-handed, you get the idea.
As a righty, first time i got close to shooting 300, i threw the best shot for an 11 bagger, and got a pocket 7-10, not very happy with that at the time.. But to this day i still think that´s the worst break you can get in bowling.
Madison's beating you like you owe her money. LOL! i think you should take that wheel to the U.S. Open and The Masters and convince the PBA that every player should have to spin the wheel before every shot. It might make those painfully deviant lane conditions seem easy and you don't have to worry about Norm landing on 'Trick Shot' every frame and running away with the lead. (unless, of course, he comes out of retirement just to beat everybody anyway.) LOL!
What I would have done with the wheel is erase whatever comes up and replace it with a clockwise arrow. If an arrow comes up, the wheel is rotated to the next unused slice. That way, the options will come up evenly. (Making the first - or last - frame normal as you did means one slice still goes unpicked, but as there's two of each, that means nothing will go completely missed, like trick shot did here.)
Have enjoyed watching the house bowlers for awhile but never commented. I was a decent bowler until an injury slowed down my ball speeds from 17mph to 13mph. I’ve been trying drills to reduce the amount of tilt and rev rate to match the lower speed but it’s failing. I’m starting to get frustrated and close to giving up the sport. Anybody have an idea of how to completely change your throw due to injury?
Solid 8 pin definitely hurts but it’s an easy spare. The pocket 7-10 or wrapping around the 10 when shooting a washout results in an open frame. Those two are definitely the worst
@@TheHouseBowling if I absolutely had to pick I’d say the 7-10 is the worst. The washout one is slightly deserved bc you need to throw a pretty bad shot to leave it. The 7-10 just sucks
I had the messenger miss on a pocket 7-10 at league a couple weeks ago when I needed a mark in the 10th. 4 pin bounced off the wall and hit both of them and they just wobbled til the rack picked them up. Worst break you can get by far
I love at first. She's so fucking shy to even touch your hand and then by like the third of fourth frame She is absolutely smacking the shit out of your hand
I'm a left-hander and I truly believe when you leave something it is for a reason. The word bad break is not in my dictionary to be honest with you when it comes to bowling.
Flush 8 (righty) or 9 pin (lefty) is just a bad rack but reverse those leaves and those are the most heartbreaking to me because the ball was driving too hard and didn't have any deflection
Worst breaks: I've seen a pocket 1 pin and left a pocket 3 pin. At least with a 8 or 9 you were either a touch high or the rack was slightly off, since the head pin hits the 5 pin before the ball can which causes it to miss the tap. The pocket 1 was so flush the 1, 2, 4, 7 connected so perfectly that the 1 slid to the 7 spot. The pocket 3 I left was similar with the 3 ending in the 19 pin position.
True tap Stone 8s (righty) Stone 9 (Lefty) .. true tap, no control but anything involving wrapping around pins on split/washout conversions just as demoralizing. Pocket 7-10s, just absolutely disgusting, and worse than Stone 8s. As least the Stone 8 will be a spare.
As a 2 handed righty for me my toughest is 8-10 in my case I can't throw my spare ball straight to save my life I can only hook it and everything I hook towards it it goes in between and only hits the 8 and leaves 10 standing
So I'm a right handed 2 hander, but I bowled 1 handed righty for 11 years. And after all of that time, my ball roll and revs one my one handed lefty are miiiiiiiiles ahead of my 1 handed righty
Packy can kinda throw it pretty good with 2 handed right style, really impressed great video packy as always!
Thanks Garret!

Hi Packy with the house bowling!
Hey!
My worst break in bowling was hitting the pocket, and leaving the 7-9 split. And I'm a right-hander!
Dumbest head scratching split ever, had a few in my lifetime.
Been here since 10k. Love the vids!
Love that you keep following along 😁❤️
This video reminds me of the bowling dice challenge also nice video.
What would you put on the wheel for next time?
Add like a blindfold or throw your opponents ball

You should bowl against someone who bowls backwards. That would be fun to see mate.
The worst break in bowling is when you go nine, spare, sheet and lose because your opponent shoots 300.
p.s. I had a feeling that Madison would strike on the fill
Shoot 299 and lose....
Lol yea that’s a tough 290-300 loss!
That brings back ptsd man. Stone 9 pin and sheeted it to lose in that exact manner.
@@BucksCorner101 sorry about bringing up bad memories.
@J Anderson all good bro I made a crap ton of money in that tournament that day
Personally, a pretty good shot and you leave a 7-9 (lefty) Or a 8-10

@freakymrq I have an old purple karma I bowl straight down and in I don't know my Rev rate I'd but I know I throw it around 15mph and it's a 15lb ball
For a beginner bowler or someone who loves the down and in I love my purple hammer reactive!
@TheHouseBowling I'm a league bowler so the purple hammer works good down and in
I about laughed myself into a hernia with that 10th frame 6-8
I’d say the 8 or 9 pin is the worst hit. Mainly cause I don’t leave the pocket 7-10 very often.
I reckon the worst breaks are the 4-10 and the 6-7. Both are somewhat reasonably makeable, but devilishly difficult.
The worst break in my life is the nine corner pin that drives me nuts, especially when it was a strike ball😤
Hitting pocket flush leaving a solid 7-10 split
i am a right handed two handed bowler in need a spare ball that doesn't hook does anyone have any recommendations
Worst break in bowling is pocket 7-10 from a missed messenger. Worse if working on multiple strikes in a row😔

Throw a plastyic spare ball. It shouldn't matter what ball you throw as long as it helps. There's no shame
Though not a bowler, I'm sure it feels like a dagger through the heart when there's a pocket 7-10.
Solid 8 pin definitely hurts but it’s an easy spare. The pocket 7-10 or wrapping around the 10 when shooting a washout results in an open frame. Those two are definitely the worst
