  • I am keeping a designer's blog on BGG here: boardgamegeek.com/blog/13281 It will contain my thoughts on this game and the decisions that I am making while developing this new take on Sniper Kill Confirmed.
We were fortunate to get assigned a rather short assignment this time. We need these to gain some experience in-country. We were back in the desert just outside Ramadi proper, hunting for a local leader. We found him and managed to take him out without sustaining too much damage. There were plenty of Enemy Snipers around, but we were able to bandage up any wounds that they inflicted. With our new experience points, we purchased "Fieldcraft". Being able to convert any card to a Blank card is a BIG help on longer missions (especially when you are trying to keep a low profile). We plan to save up all future XP to get Infiltrate next. Being stealthy is even more important than being a good marksman in this game.

I'm watching Clifton but won't be at the Expo. I'll have to read through the blog when I get a chance. I see it explains the cards which I'd been wondering about.

I am glad that someone is actually watching. I'm happy to answer any questions and get feedback. You can also find the game as a Table Top Simulator mod, if you want to try it out.

@@CliftonFranklund I'm a physical components guy or Vassal when playing with my nephew. I feel like TTS would drive me batty with its physics. 😀

I am with you there. The skeumorphic interface of TTS is totally unnecessary for boardgaming. However, it is much easier to prototype on that platform. I really need to teach myself how to design in Vassal this summer.
