Love the fact that Randy and other wrestlers can now say they “get the munchies” and indulge in a little weed rather than all the other stuff they’ve been allowing for years.
Could not have loved this more. I really hope Conrad gets to do a podcast with Randy one day, that dude has some great stories in the tuck, I'm positive.
Hearing someone like Orton who's had the ups and downs, gone through the developmental he did, grown up in the business, started his family while in the business, just all the things he accomplished and he's still got the deepest respect and passion for his career and how it plays into the business as a whole. Really really great interview. Made me even more of an RKO fan.
Randy Orion by far is the most gifted and has a pure God given gift. I know he doesn’t think he’s great but he’s one of the best pure natural talents in ring.
This whole interview is great. Re: Wrestlemania 22 Triple Threat was the one match I was most looking forward to and I remember being there live and being so disappointed it was so short. The fast pace was exciting though.
Randy Orton is a fucking legend. It’s crazy to say that when you’ve seen the guy have his first match back in the day. Time goes fast but one thing is for sure Randy Orton will go down in history as one of the best of all time.
@@Super122291 Probably because of his attitude issues during his first few years in the WWE. Orton acknowledged he had attitude issues and even had a drug addiction problem when he was younger but he has matured a lot after being saved and inspired by his friend Edge, getting older and starting a family with his current wife.
Goldberg in 98-99 was an absolute megastar, only Austin was bigger than him at that time. A lot of the 'smart marks' were not even around at that time so have no idea. They think their vanilla midgets doing all the flips and false finishes is what draws.
@WWEG1WGA Great points. Also, Goldberg was white hot in the late 90s also - pretty much just as hot as anyone else. And bear in mind, both Austin and Goldberg wore black attire (trunks, knee pads and boots) with some slight differences. The comparisons were mainly superficial. DDP is definitely an excellent comparison. Scott Hall is a good one too.
I wanted to listen this again. It's so good, Randy has such a healthy perspective on his work environment. When he - and pretty much everyone I've heard about this topic in WWE - says it's important to develop a good relationship with management (not BFF nonsense, but a respectful awareness of one another), to us laymen means networking. That's important everywhere we go in life. He might said that all he knows in life is pro-wrestling, but the amount of layers it takes to be so great at that in 2022 is unbelievable. Especially in WWE. Again, loved hearing the dude
Great show Kurt. First time listener. Thanks for 100s of highlights that will live forever. I'm 58 now, so I've seen you wrestle since your day 1 in WWE. ✌👍🍻 greetings from Kelowna Canada.
So basically guys who dont get pushed just need to build a relationship with Vince so he can notice yu. I never thought about it like that but it makes sense 💯 Everyone should take Randy advice
I starter watching in 05.. Batista and Orton have always been my top 2.. I love how Randy's career has gone.. theres alot of great ones and hes definitely one of the best
This was an awesome interview very awesome you guys got Randy Orton as I guest I really enjoyed the stories he told. Hopefully y'all will get another guest soon.
WOW this made IT so Wörth to watch All the wrestling. Thank you Kurt for what you are doing. And so incredible that someone like Randy, that as He sayed, He isnt someone that does Interviews that much🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Is your first Gast. You both are so awesome. I cant believe what type of fun it had to be travel Ing together🤣🤣🤣🤣. Big hug from Germany and the canary Islands Baby😀
Kurt Angle always talks about Rey Mysterios entrance being 8-9 minutes long but it really was only about 3 1/2 minutes. Still pretty long but the other entrances were about 2 minutes lol

So I remember going to a house show smack down tour back in 2013 and it was randy vs big show and when randy won he walked around ring side to shake people's hands and when he got too me he shakes my hand so hard inside my body I was hurting 😖 but myface was like 😁I sold it like champ🤣🤣🤣🤣
"Too many would be too much." - Kurt Angle gives the greatest insights. "When I'm hungry, I have the urge to eat." Is Randy smoking something in this episode or something? Kind of sounded like it but without video, I cant tell. Sometimes it sounds like Conrad or JR smoke something too, but same - cant see, so I'm unsure.
@@asapgroovy oh, ok. I thought I hear lighters sometimes. I thought he quit years ago. That's a shame, damn JR. Talks about peeing himself on the regular too.
Randy's yo-yo dieting and snacking habit is that natal Libra Moon he's got. Libra Moons such as us have a raging sweet tooth, and we often eat to feel better (Moon=emotional comfort) or feel pleasure (Libra=Venusian sign) rather than for sustenance. Just something to be aware of.
This interview was golden, really shows how close Kurt and Randy are in real life. Just great shii

Always love hearing Randy talk outside of wrestling, it’s open. He is truly a special individual.
@MetaVerse Man *cough cough* Hulk Hogan
Love the fact that Randy and other wrestlers can now say they “get the munchies” and indulge in a little weed rather than all the other stuff they’ve been allowing for years.
Weed was illegal, the pharma poison was legal, THAT was the main problem back then
RVD blazed a trail for these guys...

I love how franc Randy is. He just speaks his mind and the fact that he acknowledges Matt Riddle is so great! He can see talent!
@@taylormay420rodgers It was a few weeks after Riddle botched his promo on RAW! Randy mentionned that he found it hilarious!

I do believe he is one of the best . Even better is in his time can be baby face or heel.I love character when he is the heel.
Loved this, glad Kurt has his own show now. 🇺🇸
"Channel my inner matt riddle" - Randy Orton
Randys a Stoner too haha
Randy just seems chill AF lol... I know ppl hated on him back in the day but I was always a major Orton fan.
Why they hated him back in the day ?

Wish they would have covered wrestlemania 21 with Undertaker. In fact that whole feud in 2005 was huge for Orton.

Randy seems like a cool dude to roll a J with and talk about life with.
“The reviews don’t lie” is a bold claim.
My guess would be Ricochet and Ali as the two guys Randy was speaking of counseling.
