Such a cute and interesting surname origin story! The legend of my surname is that a king had promised his only daughter, the castle and the surrounding land to the man that could save them from a wild sow and boar that was terrorizing them. A young man defeated both the sow and boar, was given his reward and was renamed Pucell, an old French word (pourcel) which means little pig haha!. Danke schön!
